I cant believe my father is here. Why? Why does life hate me so much. I clenched Kaden's shirt tightly as sobs racks my whole body
"Please don't let him hurt me", I sobbed
Kaden pulled me into his side tightly and gently rubbed my back calming me down just a tad bit.
Tyler stood near him waiting for my father to come in and let me tell you I'm so scared.
"Kaden when he comes in here. Keep your cool okay. We don't know what game he's gonna play", Tyler tells him gruffly to which Kaden stiffly stands in front of me taking my hands
" I promise on my life Alex, I will never let him harm you ever again", he says looking at me deeply as if he's seeing my soul
I gave a tiny smile but that went away making me numb as the door opened an in came the man I dreaded to see.
" oh... my baby girl... what happened?", he says with fake concern and I could see his eyes shining with an evil glint in them making me flinch back an look away
" g...go...go away", I said softly turning my head and I knew he didn't like that cause he took a stiff step close to me but was cut off when Kaden walked up to him. Now they were face to face and let me tell you I have never seen my dad afraid of someone. Maybe it was the scar he had but I'm in complete utter shock.
Kaden crossed his arms over his broad chest an glared at my father.
" you can quit the act... we already know what you've done... and if you dare do something... I'll put you down easy", Kaden said looking at my father with such fury it made my heart skip a beat knowing someone was sticking up for me
Tyler stood next to me with an arm on my shoulder, I think it was his way of telling me he had my back as well to which I squeezed his hand and sat up a bit.
" who do you think you are boy? You know nothing of what's going on", my dad growled out causing me to flinch involuntary! My dad smirked at the effect his voice as on me. Kaden saw and what shocked me was that Kaden leaned back a bit and swung his fist right in my dads face.
My father fell and held his jaw with a groan. Tyler stepped forward just as my dad kicked his leg out for Kaden's chest to which Kaden masterly blocked and did whatever move he just did an had my dads face smashed in the floor with Kaden holding his hand behind his back, bending it making my father groan in pain
" you don't know who the fuck your messing with. She's mine... and you sure as hell ain't taking her from me. I won't let you. You've done enough. What father abuses his own daughter to the point where she's afraid of a touch, look and violent sounds huh", Kaden yelled punching my fathers face
" a father is suppose to be a guardian, a protector. Your suppose to cherish your child. Teach her right from wrong without the abuse you sick fuck", Kaden punched him again," you sick sick fuck", Kaden punched my father again seeing my dad go limp but Kaden didn't stop.
Tyler ran forward to stop Kaden but he pushed Tyler who fell and stood back up to get Kaden to stop.
" Kaden, bro enough come on", Tyler yelled pleadingly. Kaden punched Tyler causing him to fall. I moved off the bed slowly and took small steps to Kaden who angrily kept punching my dad.
" Ka..Kaden", my voice came out hoarse from my crying so I wiped my tears away and with the strength that I had I tackled Kaden to the ground who flipped us over to where he was on top of me. I winced as Kaden went to throw a punch but I called out to him which got his attention
He looked at me with shock and fear," Al..Alex ", he whispered getting off of me an pushed himself against the wall," I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry", he looked at me with pain
I sat up an crawled to him moving his arms as I carefully climbed on his lap and took his face in my hands
" it's okay! You... you didnt...hurt me", I said softly looking him in the eyes searching for any sign of him pulling away.
" I could have", Kaden said placing his head in his hands. I laughed softly and he looked at me with confusion," silly I.. could have hurt you... I tackled you", I said with a small smile
Kaden looked at me before chuckling," I deserved it though", he said looking down.
He risked his own self to protect me. He stayed with me knowing what happened. He didn't leave, he stayed and fought for me. I placed my hand softly on his cheek and made him look right at me," thank you... for everything", I say softly leaning forward and I knew what I wanted and I was determined to show him that he meant a lot to me. I kissed him softly and to his shock that quickly went away, he pulled me closer to him and deepened it. I kind of flinched which didn't go unnoticed but I needed this. I needed him to know his touch doesn't scare me anymore!
A throat clears to which I shyly place my head in Kaden's neck
" well... love birds.. glad you got that out of the way... now can we call the police please", Tyler says holding in his laugh.
"Shut it... yeah call them", Kaden says inhaling my neck
" but I have no where to go", I said sadly playing with my fingers
"Nonsense, you'll stay with me, I have an extra bedroom but I prefer you stay in mine but first things first I need to get off my chest", Kaden says looking deeply into my eyes.
I took a deep breath and held it as Kaden asked me a question my heart skipped a beat to
"Alex....would you... would you go on a date with me?", he asked with his icy blue eyes
I thought about it," do I have to dress up?", I asked confusingly since I have never been on a date nor ever seen outside or any store for that matter
" nope, comfy clothes is fine. I'll even take you to shop for more comfortable clothes. I notice your clothes had some faded, and some holes. So I wouldn't mind buying you a couple things", he said with love in his eyes I never knew someone could look at me like that ever.
" what about school?", I asked with my head down. What would everyone think.
" well, I'll talk to the principal tomorrow, let him know what's going on. I won't give him much detail. But I would suggest me or either Tyler can pick up your work. It'll be Tyler cause I am sure as hell not leaving you", he said in his husky deep voice that I shivered to
We hear a groan and look to see my father sitting up. How can we totally forget that he was in here. Oh my god! What's gonna happen?
Kaden stands up with me and place me behind him as Tyler is standing behind my father.
" the cops will be here, so I suggest you leave", Kaden growls out
I clench his shirt an close my eyes smelling his wonderful cologne. He smells like wood, and if possible dark musk. He smells wonderful.
Kaden reaches an arm behind me an pull me into him more as my face is buried more into his back.
" you can have the bitch. She's a killer, took everything from me. Who'd want a broken cutter, good for nothing bitch", he snickered at me with hate
Kaden lunged at my father bashing his head into the wall! Tyler jumped in to get Kaden off of him. My breathing became irregular an it was killing me my lungs burned, my eyes had tears in them. I gasped for air," Kaden", I cried out but that was the last I could see, Tyler running towards me before I succumbed to the darkness again.

I kept punching her father over an over. How dare he fucking say that shit about her. It wasn't her fault. None of it was.
" you need to fucking realize something you fucker, she lost her to not just you", I gritted out through my clenched teeth.
I swung my fist back to render him back unconscious when Tyler yelled out
"Kaden", I stopped to look at him to see Alex in his arms pale and turning blue gasping for air.
I slammed him on the ground one more time before rushing over to Tyler taking Alex out of his arms and holding her tight into mine.
"Alex... deep breath in and release slowly... come on baby girl... you can do it", I say soothingly rubbing her cheek.
She coughed and I got scared as her body seized again
Doctors and nurses came in with three police officers rushing to me and taking her from me again. The cops handcuffed her father and told me and Tyler to follow them.
Her father yelled out an tried to break out of the officers grip but that caused him to get slammed against the wall
"Make a move like that again, I will not hesitate to use extreme force", the officer growled out to him.
Two of the officers came up to us and asked our names
" Kaden Knight....Tyler Black" we say
They nodded and wrote our names down then asked us what happened!
I explained my story and Tyler explained his side of what we knew. The officers gave a sad pained expression about Alex
"Poor kid" one of the officers whispered
"She's stronger than she looks.. believe me" I say leaning against the wall with my eyes closed.
The doctors comes out pained
" if her body reacts to another seizure.. I'm sorry to say but her whole body will shut down putting her in a coma", he said the one thing that I dreaded to not happen.
" if we keep her father away from her. She will never suffer an attack like this. Please officers you guys have to do something. When you see what he's done to her... just please help us keep her safe", Tyler pleaded with clenched fists.
" we will do what we can son. I can promise you that", the officer said before talking with the other officer who had Alex's father cuffed an seated on the hallway bench!
What a long tiring messed up day! I hope Alex is okay. God I hope she's okay.
