Chapter 260 - Chapter 259 ELSA'S DEAL 2

"Liam." She called when he picked up, "Love." His deep voice could be heard, but there was a cold tone underneath it, the same coldness she felt the first day he called her name. "A... Are you alright Liam? Is everything okay with you?" She asked closing the door before her, he didn't say a thing but rather hunged up on her.

It wasn't up to three seconds did Liam call back, "I'm fine, how was school?" He asked plainly, "Preya was not expelled, I managed to talk to the boards and they let her stay." She started, "Thanks for arranging such a meeting." She added. Liam already heard what happened from the boards themselves, his wife gave more than what was expected. Though at first, she was a bit intimidated by them, she stood her ground and fought for what she thought was right.

He was distracted by other petty things and had forgotten how much proud his wife has made him today, he was extremely proud of her. "I heard." Came his reply, that was her first test and she passed. Maybe setting up a restaurant wouldn't be so hard for her next time, she's able to do any task you give. "You've made me so proud Love, I owe you a date." Elsa blushed at his words. This is her little fantasy, her little love story.

She could feel her heart hitting rhythmically against her chest, he had great effects on her, "You're not at home are you?" Liam asked, "No, I'm at Preya's." She said. "Be careful."

"There's no point worrying too much Liam, I'll be fine, besides Scorpion's here." She assured him smiling at his attitude. He acts like he doesn't care or he's unfazed by whatever she does, but is always the first to arrive when she acts crazy. Elsa didn't know how long they talked, neither of them wanted to hang up, at some point Liam switched to video call just to see her face.

She saw his smile one more time and her heart settled, but beneath his smile was some sort of coldness, the coldness was back and she could easily see it through his eyes. Liam doesn't trust her yet to tell her things about himself and she hated it more than anything. If he thought she was still too little to know these things then he's wrong, she wished for nothing more than knowing everything about him.

"Are you alright Liam?" She asked again, this time she asked to his face and she didn't think would lie to her face. "Why do you ask?" "Your face isn't as bright as always, you can come over I promise to take good care of you." She didn't know where that came out from. "And how would you do that?" He chuckled at her words, "You're not done taking good care of yourself how would you take care of me?"

"I can handle myself Liam I'm a grown woman." She frowned. "Hmm, and I still get to fly over to save you when you eventually create trouble for yourself." He teased. "Why don't we make a deal Liam, for the rest of my year, you won't ever get any complaint from me or Scorpion, and don't come over until I say so." She proposed to see him raise his brow. It's a pretty good idea, at least he can focus more on work than worrying too much about his irresponsible wife.

This minute she might seem composed and responsible and in the next second, she gets distracted and turns into a complete stranger. If she isn't kissing a guy to get his attention, then an unknown boy would be obsessed over her and she wouldn't know how to handle him. Though she was an interesting woman, a hard puzzle he's still trying to crack. Most times he wonders how her mental health is in check with everything she's been through, and then he looks at himself, and then it becomes understandable.

Elsa was the female version of him, except for the part where she doesn't even know how to kill people. She's just like her parents, and that's his biggest fear. If she's this kind, what will his children be, he wasn't even a stubborn kid growing up, situations and certain circumstances turned him into the monster he is.

He knows she's the best thing that has happened to him, something he's forever grateful for. "Alright, see you whenever you want wife." He hunged up instantly, Elsa smashed her phone on the floor trying not to scream so the girls wouldn't wake up. This man was really showing his true colors, he was out for her. Now she regretted her decision, what was she thinking? This is what Liam wanted.

He diverted her words from himself back to her and she never realized it till he hunged up. She now regretted why she made such a deal with this sly man, once again he deceived her, this is why she should never be allowed to make decisions when she's upset. She stepped back into the room, this is the time to do things to forget him at least. There's no way she's losing to him, that's never going to happen.

The next morning came by so quickly and Elsa was the last to prepare for school cause of her midnight call which she regretted ever doing. "I change my mind, I'll attend the party tonight and the naked party tomorrow night." Elsa declared nonchalantly to have the girls pause whatever they were doing. "Did you have a fight with Liam Elsa?" Jesse asked shocked by the sudden change of plans.

"No, we're both too mature for that, I only gave your talks some thought and decided I needed to experience these things. I'm young and don't want to be tied down by marriage." She said picking a mug from the locker. Both Jesse and Preya were dumbstruck by their friend's words, she's meant to be the good girl, not their leader in their foolishness. "After class, we'd go for shopping and pick the necessary outfit, don't worry it's all on me." Elsa declared taking a sip of the tea she just poured into her mug not minding the eyes on her.

She wanted to teach Liam who's boss, she wanted to forget him and she believes attending clubs and partying all night was all it took to forget the man she loves. "Just take it easy Elsa and make sure you don't do something stupid," Jesse warned before leaving, and so did preya after a while. She had things to do in school. Elsa was the last to leave, she looked forward to the party, even if she hated parties, she knew this was compulsory.

The trio went out for shopping the moment they were done with their classes, and each bought outfit they were all comfortable in. Elsa hoped the party wouldn't be as stupid as her last with Dante, she was not comfortable with his friends, especially with that girl that kept glaring at her like she was stealing Dante away from her. Though she was annoyed by Dante's persistent nature toward her, she didn't dislike him.

If Liam took him away, it means he did something to him, she hoped he was okay. Maybe if he had listened to her, he wouldn't have gone through that much trouble. They all arrived at home to prepare for the party, from the previous one they learned that much dressing was not required especially since it's a student party. "Stay low Elsa so you don't attract any guy since you wouldn't be needing them," Jesse advised.

All of a sudden she was a big sis to her friend, she didn't want Elsa to get into as much trouble as she had with Dante. Above all, she loved the relationship between her and her brother Liam and didn't want anything breaking them up. You know that one friend that gets to be your biggest hype man? That's who she is to Elsa.

"I know, unlike you single girls, I'm going to have fun by myself." She stated passing a lip gloss across her lips as she smacked them together turning from side to side. Jesse stood before the dressing mirror too, brushing her hair, and letting it pour down her waist. She looked as beautiful as always in a white bottom-up shirt and a black mini skirt, just to steal attention from everyone. Jesse wore her black jacket before stepping out of the room leaving her friend behind.

Preya had to stuff her tummy a bit with food, so as not to get too tipsy as she was now fully dressed ready to go out. She wore a white unbuttoned sheer blouse and skinny jeans. They weren't there to do much, but their little was best. Elsa wasn't left out as she slew her black mini dress and her oversized denim black jacket accompanied by her silver strappy heels.

She wore black not to appear visible before everyone, all she was going to do is have fun and nothing more...
