The three girls arrived at the party, of course, scorpion had to escort them to protect them from harm and danger. He was totally exhausted for the day, regretting why he had to take this job. Maybe it was easy to boss her around before as she barely went out, but now she's just another stress to his already stressed life and he has to be there whenever she needs him. "Wow." Preya reacted to the building they were getting into.
It was a large building, not their regular school building, that welcoming party was for the average rich kids. And this welcoming party is meant for the rich and beyond just as they are. The three girls stepped in, two were excited and just one wasn't that much excited, she's seen Dante's friends but hasn't seen Dante among them. Liam was right, Dante's no longer coming back.
"Drinks are free, just don't go above your limits," Jesse warned before stepping towards the bar, she was the most exposed out of the three, but was still an amateur when it came to these things. One thing they didn't notice was this bar wasn't only meant for students but anyone could attend, now Elsa regretted why she attended in the first place. Even if others admired the place and call it fascinating, there was nothing fascinating about this place to her.
She followed Jesse and Preya to get a drink not minding the eyes of other students on them. They were part of the most popular kids in school, unfortunately, so it was normal to be the center of attention. As usual, Elsa picked up her drink and went further to sit in a corner to drink while waiting for her friends who mixed among the people on the dance floor.
"Hello, hottie." A boy approached Preya from behind, his grey eyes lingered over her body, he bit his lower lips not too hard not soft either but enough to awaken something in her. Preya had zero experience with boys, she's never had a boyfriend before or dated anyone, though she always dreamt of experiencing everything one day and was glad she was.
"Hello." She said bashfully pressing both her index fingers together, as her face flushed. "Don't be shy, it's cute though." She heard him say which turned her red from embarrassment. She couldn't believe her eyes and ears, a hot guy was right before her, probably one she's never met before. The type she never thought would even spare her a glance on a normal day.
He pulled her to himself gently placing his hands on her waist as the other held his drink. She waited to hear his name or at least make a formal introduction but he didn't. Rather he moved his body to the sound of the music and she did too, they were all here to have fun and nothing more anyway. Maybe he found her fitting at that moment to dance with her, it's best she never attaches feelings to this.
"You wanna hang, my friends are over there?" She heard him say as his lips brushed her ears making her shiver. He got close to her ears to speak to her hearing due to the loud music, but her body gave off a weird reaction and she hated it. Preya nodded at his words, turning her gaze to Jesse who seemed to be engrossed in her dance with two guys. Her eyes quickly searched for Elsa, the reasonable one, but could not find her anywhere.
Preya felt him grab her hands as he pulled her to his friends, only when they arrived at their table did she realize they were older than she is. And might be done with college too. She felt her heart skip at their intimidating faces, what has she done? Why did she accept to join him at this table?
"Josh, what are you doing with that?" A guy asked as his eyes sized her as if looking down on her. His gaze was similar to the gazes of the rest on the table, they were five there, three guys and two girls. Now she started at them closely, they did look like students, only that they appeared bigger than she was. "A girl I found." Josh stated the obvious pulling her to himself.
"Isn't she the porn girl on our school blogs last week?" The only blonde on the table said nonchalantly starting at the girl before her. Preya could no longer meet their gazes, she was ashamed of herself. Preya thought she was prepared mentally for what people would say about her, but she was wrong. She was not ready to get scolded or called upon by her fellow students.
Josh stared down at her before smiling, "Who cares, the more exposed the better." He smiled, placing his hands on her shoulder as he helped her seat beside him. She was happy he didn't judge her but cursed inwardly for caring so much about his words. She just met him, she shouldn't feel strange towards him. There was no such thing as love at first sight.
While Preya was trapped in her seat, Jesse went over to the bar to get more drinks, she made sure not to let the bartender add drugs to it so she doesn't get out of control. Though her drunk state was scary, she was nothing compared to Elsa's, unlike Jesse, El was a crazy lunatic when drunk. How could she forget her state the first time she had met Ethan, thinking of him now she frowned slightly.
No matter how hard she tried to forget him completely, he was still in her heart. He was still all over her mind and she hated it. She hated those feelings, Ethan doesn't deserve her, he used her for his selfish gains, disrespected and treated her like some garbage before his girlfriend. He laid his hands on her cause she refused to go against her brother.
Recalling everything she turned furious and agitated with him, she felt a sour taste in her mouth, she should hate him, she shouldn't get close to him. She shouldn't even think about him.
Jesse darted her gaze around the clubhouse, the entire place was filled to its brim, she couldn't find her friends no matter how hard she tried searching for them, but she hoped they were okay.
Jesse sat on a stool, sipping from her drink, "Hello miss." A man in a black suit approached her. Having met men like him before, she knew he wasn't the boss but his boss was somewhere watching her. One thing she prayed and hoped for was that he was not one of Ethans men. "My boss over there wants to speak to you." He said gesturing his hands in a direction when she didn't respond to his greetings.
She stared at the man whose eyes were on her, he was in a black suit too, sitting comfortably on a sofa taking a sip of his drink. She stepped down from her seat and approached him, he smirked. She was not like the other girls that turned scared of him without having a conversation. He liked her already.
His eyes trailed down her body before moving back to her daring eyes when she stood before him, "Come, come over hear." He spoke so calmly gesturing his hands to the seat before her, yet in a commanding manner. Jesse stood still, staring at him, everyone knew it wasn't right to trust anyone at a club, especially one you've never met before.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience sir, but I have to leave." She bowed slightly before turning around to leave as if realizing herself but was stopped by two men. No, what has she gotten herself into? Why did she respond to his calls? She shouldn't have even come close to him, her mind was clouded by Ethan that she forgot what she was doing.
She returned her gaze to the man on the seat, "I believe it isn't right to walk out on someone especially if you haven't started a conversation with him." He said. Now she thought of it, he seemed to appear like a very important person, so what was he doing in a place like this, a place meant for students like her? Men like him should be far from this place.
"I don't know what you want from me sir but I'm no longer interested in talking to you so let me go," Jesse said trying so hard not to panic which was all evident in her face. No matter how hard she tried to push her fears, they still consumed her.
"It seems you have no idea who you're talking to." He said pouring a substance into a glass filled with a drink. Her instinct was right before, she shouldn't have come to him. she's landed herself into trouble. This was no rich man, he was just an ordinary man dressed to lure girls like her into his trap and she fell deeply for it.
The men behind her back trapped her strongly and placed her on the sofa next to their boss. It was amusing how no one noticed what was happening. He brought the glass close to her lips, Jesse shook her head in denial, she wished nothing more for someone to save her. What were they giving to her?
He grabbed her chin firmly as the other men held her to a place and forced the content into her mouth. She poured it out of her mouth immediately but it was too late cause she's already swallowed a handful of it. He smiled. "What did you give to me?" She asked.
"Don't worry my dear, you'd thank me later..."
