Elsa stepped out of the conference room feeling a bit nervous, she had no intentions of disrespecting anyone but just airing out her thoughts like a normal person till that woman decided to lecture her. At this point, she didn't care if they would expel her too from the school but she's said what she had to say, she could take Liam's scolding even if he wouldn't be pleased with her.
But she still hoped he wouldn't scold and judge her too much like the others. She got to class feeling guilty no matter how much she tried to convince herself she did the right thing, what if her polite words would have been a better chance of bringing Preya back to school? No, with the way that woman spoke, she doubt polite words would have been enough.
She knew she needs to speak to Preya and console her, hopefully, she might find the next best college to attend. Elsa tried to focus on her class till it felt like certain eyes stared at her from an angle, causing her to turn unwillingly and her eyes widened when she saw a familiar figure sitted on a sit at the right wing of the class. She couldn't believe her eyes, she never thought this would happen again, but here she is. Just when she thought she was forgetting high school and everything that came with it, he was here and still staring at her like before.
She wanted to see him during their graduation after finding out he couldn't attend, but seeing him now and knowing he is perfectly okay, there's no point in disturbing herself further. She turned her gaze from him and focused on the class, she would act like he doesn't exist to her, and in truth, he doesn't. Elsa found her way out of the class once they were done with lessons to speak with Jesse.
She wanted to know how Preya was feeling, to know if she was gone yet. She also has to let Liam know they didn't let her friend stay, and her expulsion still stands unchanged. She wished something further could be done, but it was weird disturbing Liam over an unimportant matter. He doesn't even know who Preya was but still offered to help, he's done his best and she understood.
"Jess," Elsa called ignoring the girls with Jesse even if they've introduced themselves before. Here, she was among the top popular kid's thanks to Dante even if he's no more. "You're in school?" Jesse asked a bit surprised, she didn't know when lovers' games ended in such a short time, if she's correct, hers and Ethan's took longer than a day. She blushed at the thought of him.
"Yes, Liam asked me to talk to the boards concerning Preya which I did," Elsa said disheartened. "You did that? I was beginning to wonder why the school changed their minds concerning her."
"What are you talking about?" "A message was sent to prey to resume back to school that she's been forgiving but, she'd have to partake in community services." Elsa smiled, she couldn't believe her ears, they let Preya stay. They listened to her, she screamed but covered her lips trying to contain her joy. "Where is she?"
"Where else? Her house." At Jesse's words, Elsa dragged her over with her as both people headed to Preya's apartment. Jesse had so many questions to ask, and those questions had to do with her brother. She couldn't leave the place Liam sent her to, not after finding a hot masterpiece.

While the girls were in school in the next country, over in their former city, everyone was heartbroken and devastated by the news they previously heard. They haven't even heard a word from the kidnappers, concerning a ransom to pay or even from the hired investigators who were meant to find him since nobody could get to Liam.
"We don't even know who we are fighting against, no one has called to say anything. Not even a note." Maisha bemoaned feeling really frustrated about everything. How did things get this way? When did the Blacks become a tool for kidnapping? They were the most powerful family in the city, things like this shouldn't be happening to them. All these happened when Liam started he was no longer a part of their family, they lost the respect they've always had from people.
Those who didn't disrespect her openly now did, most people have turned her into a laughing stock. But few were still close to her, the boy she thought was nothing, is actually the gumption of the family. She was certain he's heard about his uncle but has decided not to involve himself, Liam never regarded his uncle as a family member. He's always hated the man so much, but she couldn't tell why.
"That's cause the people who took father are assassins, they aren't just ordinary men," Raf said staring out the window, they even shot the man before leaving. Maybe they want something from him, something that's beyond money, maybe a secret. He knows his father so well, that he would not say a thing especially if that thing is important to him.
Raf's fear is his father getting killed, he hoped the man would give them whatever it is they need and come back home alive. He hoped his father remembers he has a family and most importantly a son waiting for him.
Donovan narrowed his eyes starting at a position, lost in his thought. He tried to think of the information his brother's abductors needed from the man, but couldn't find any. His brother wasn't some secret government agency to harbor top government secrets to attracting the eyes of these men. He knew there was more to this, but what?

Florence's head clashed against the wall hard leaving blood on her head, how could she have forgotten the one reason she couldn't be with Harbetto, but choose her dead husband instead. Harbetto is a wife beater, he's a crazy man, a psychopath. How could she have forgotten all of these in a small time?
She touched the back of her head to see blood dripping from it, and she cried. Her entire body was filled with bruises as she had become almost unrecognizable, her strength was no match for his. He flew her like paper from one wall to another, hitting her with anything that came his way. How did things get to this? How did she end up like this?
The only reason she agreed on being his wife was to inherit his wealth and fortune when she eventually kills him, but today it seems like she's the one dying. She managed to crawl on the floor and out of the room when he went in search of the next object to use on her, Harbetto was fuming with anger. The supposed woman he loved and cherish more than anyone was the same person planning his death.
He found her selling him to his enemies, she wanted him executed but forgot this was his city and nothing goes under his nose. His friends were right, women are a total distraction, and they need to be extinct. Harbetto was hellbound on killing this woman with his own hands, it's not the first time he's done it, and neither will it be the last.
He followed her trail of blood out of the room and to the stairs with a gun in his hands. He's going to end it once and for all, he's going to kill her finally, she's a traitor and deserves the death penalty. "Florence, don't even think of hiding, I will find you no matter where you hide." Harbetto followed the trials of her blood with caution, even if she was badly injured, that woman is a dangerous one.
One, men always underestimate to be nothing, but from the stories he's heard of her, she's a tigress, a fighter. Terror to be precise. All the maids of the mansion were locked outside, the entire building was empty leaving just the two crazy couples inside. Florence held the wall next to her as she tried to stand up, her entire body ached but she got up, biting her tongue so as not to scream to attract Harbetto to herself.
She tried moving her legs as she hurriedly ran into the kitchen, just at its entrance, a bullet passed through her shoulders. She bit her lower lips hard from the excruciating pain which had her teeth piercing into her flesh causing unbearable pain. She held the door firmly and ran in locking the door the moment she stepped in. If she ever finds her way out of here, she would kill this man without a second thought.
She didn't meet up with his enemies to betray him, she got a call concerning Mr. Black cause she still wanted revenge for George's death. She might be married to a new person, but that didn't mean she would forgive Liam so easily. One thing Florence can never let go of was a grudge, the same could be said about Liam, the only difference between both was that Liam thinks before he does a thing but Florence doesn't.
Liam was yet to deal with her for his wife, in fact, their fight started when she touched his wife. He would see to it that she's dead one way or another and Florence would do the same too. She must kill him, she must be Mr. Black's slayer, the only person able to put an end to that boy.
She knew telling her husband to take revenge on Liam for the sake of George, would make him mad. He's already given up on his cousin when he found out there was no way to eliminate that man, he's not just anywhere, plus he has a mad army always lurking around him. Those men are invisible, even the best assassins cannot fish them out, but they're everywhere.
They would be around his wife too and even around her family. He doesn't care about his family except for his father so attacking his family was another waste of time. Harbetto has never seen a man that doesn't have any weakness, not even one around him but Florence knew too well who his weakness was. What she looks like. The sound of shots fired brought her back to reality and she quickly searched for a tool, anything she could use to kill this man.
She stood next to the door with a knife in her hands waiting for Harbetto to step in. The door moved, he damaged the lock with the gun as he rushed into the room...
