Chapter 258 - Chapter 257 BLOOD BATH 1

She stood next to the door with a knife in her hands waiting for Harbetto to step in. The door moved, and he damaged the lock with the gun as he rushed into the room...

It felt like the entire ceiling vibrated as it moved in circles that the woman on the floor could barely stare at a thing. "Ahh." She moaned pressing her fingers on her head as she tried to Maintain a steady gaze. Where was she? What happened to her?

She turned her head to the side to notice the man laying lifeless on the floor and tears rolled down her eyes. Suddenly, the memories kept rushing back to her and she was drowned with emotions. She sobbed even if she had barely survived the recent attack from this man. How things got to this was still amusing, she could barely feel any part of her body, but she knew she was covered in blood.

"Betto, Betto," Florence called for him with the hope he'd wake up, she couldn't believe a little misunderstanding could result in death. When he destroyed the door and got into the kitchen forcefully, he dived into her knife piercing his chest. The sound of bullets could be heard, it was at that moment she realized he had shot her legs, and she fell to the floor.

Harbetto was hellbent on killing her without listening to her side of the story, but he's now dead. He rather listens to a stranger over her, this means he never loved her or just wanted to bed her as usual, he was no different from the other men. Only her Goerge was different, only he genuinely loved for with her flaws. "HELP! HELP ME!... PLEASE!" She screamed with the little strength she had left in her. She was scared of dying, even if she would, it shouldn't be this way.

The workers and guards forced themselves into the mansion against their master's will, they were ready to take whatever punishment he would give but this madness has to stop. How could two grown people be hellbent on killing each other cause of the lack of trust?

They followed the voice into the kitchen to see the unbelievable, the unimaginable, their boss. Is he dead, why isn't he moving? As if Florence noticed their presence, "Please help me, I don't want to die." She said with the last strength in her before passing out. She's lost a lot of blood, blood was spilled everywhere, and the stench from the dried blood filled the entire room.

One look at Harbetto had most of the maids puking, he wasn't a sight to behold, who knew one day this famous master of theirs would be this disgusting? Indeed money and power are nothing when someone is dead.

Florence was taken to the hospital in a few minutes, even if they wished she was the one dead, there's nothing they could do about it.

Liam finally arrived at his new dungeon to see the man he's kept in there, it's funny how he now has a different dungeon in different cities now. This one didn't drink of old blood and roster iron since it was still new. Who knows, maybe his uncles' blood might be the first to grace these brick floors. He wanted to know the truth behind everything, there is a mastermind behind all of these. He didn't give it this much attention before, but now he does.

Everything about his previous life seems mysterious, his mother's death, the new revelations. Yes, his father killed her which was seen by everyone, but he believed there was more to the story than meet the eyes.

He believes there's a hidden dilemma behind her death, something he just can't quite put his fingers around. Something he has to know and this man here has the right answer he needs. Liam stepped into the room, his dark eyes never leaving the gaze of the man seated beneath the white light, this is his only source. This is the first time he's had a verbal exchange with his captives.

"Once I got here I knew only you could have the leverage to abduct me, what do you want to know?" Barrett suddenly asked slightly irritated by the presence before him. He never liked Liam or his mother cause of one thing, they enriched his younger brother's life. And just when he thought the boy would amount to nothing and all of his rightful possessions would be his, Liam became even more successful than his father.

Donovan used to be his brother, they were like peanut butter and jam, so inseparable. They went out together, talked together, played together, till he realized Donovan was his father's favorite, one that would succeed his father's properties. He thought his brother would reject it, or pass it down to him once their father was dead, but just like every other greedy man in the world, Donovan took over shamelessly.

He was treated wrongly, and unfairly cause his father felt like he couldn't handle their company.

"Everything." Came Liam's blunt words, "Everything I should know." He added to see the man snicker deep in his throat raising his face upwards. "I don't think I have any information you need boy." Liam's face was still unfazed by his actions, no one needed to tell him this man wouldn't be an easy one when it came to spilling. He looked old and weak but is as stubborn as hell, but he didn't seem like one that could endure pain since he's never felt any in years though.

"Don't make this hard for anyone, I don't want to break your bones as much as I'll love to so speak." Came Liam's words after his numerous calculations. "No! You already made it hard for everyone when you abducted me against my will. You think you're all powerful and no one can touch you that's why you do whatever you like, but hear this Liam, touching me has marked your last days on earth." Barrett spoke with so much bitterness in his voice.

"There are so many puzzles I want to solve but they are not just aligning." Liam started, calmly, "I found Rafael's mother months ago and it turns out she's my mother's sister." "How's that my business? I'm not your father kid, I'm not the one you should be asking all of these things. I'm not the whore who had kids with three close women." He raised his voice a bit.

"But out of all of Donovan's women, you're closest to the last." "That's cause she's the only one available, she's the only one who's not mad and didn't breed mad children." Liam still stared at him unfazed by his words, he still didn't know how this man is able to counter his questions. This is one of the reasons he hated talking to people like this, it gives room for insults and guts. He forgot so soon this is his uncle, he's a Black, it's part of them.

Barrett wasn't found shaking cause he's been well fed since he arrived and has been treated like a king. His fathers being poisoned didn't just pop out of nowhere, yes Florence did it, but how did she know those people? The poison given could not be fished out even if he was tested. Carlos reported seeing the man's P.A with Maisha for not too long which only means one thing. He rose to his feet, "Take him into the other room I want him to start spilling." Liam ordered.

"Wait what are you doing Liam? I thought I told you all you had to know." Barrett's cries could be heard loud and clear by everyone present in the dungeon at that time. They feared for the man, he was too old to go through such torture it would be better if he spills than annoy their master more.

"Tell Carlos to give that womb hospital to the government and make sure she's not arrested or held accountable for running that place." He ordered Alan standing next to him, the man nodded and went ahead to make some calls. He couldn't believe he was focused on those outside when his real enemies were the ones he called family. He had forgotten almost everything that happened that day, but that is their old mansion, there must be a tape or video of that day unless that stepmother of his has destroyed it.

Liam stepped into the room where his uncle was now tied, that includes his mouth. The only word he heard from the man were murmurs, he hated the man's voice now more than anything. That voice irritated him more than ever, which had him almost splitting the man's throat.

He's no longer interested in having any conversation with anyone, not anymore. He was done with that, or maybe he'd come back to it later. He took out Barrett's hands and without wasting any more time, he moved his middle fingers to the back. The crack of bones could be heard accompanied by the loud screams from the man...
