Liam stepped into the building with Carlos right behind him, he didn't mind the guest staring at him in awe, as he was now used to this kind of act in every gathering he attends. Just like they say, it's impossible for Mr. Black to attend your event, he rarely even attends formal events so they were shocked he was in attendance at this one. A mere birthday party. He only attends family events(on rare occasions) or compulsory relative events.
Mr. Berg's head was raised high seeing the presence that just arrived, Liam alone in this party has lifted their family status in the society. It's one thing to know the man and another to get acquainted with him or his family. Both men's eyes locked and they both exchanged eye gestures.
The ladies droll at his presence, they wanted to get his notice so badly but his mind was on a certain person that seemed to be driving him insane. It's a good thing he met her while she was still fragile and less rebellious, cause right now that woman is on another level. He thought he could control her and life would be so easy with her, but someone that has consistently pulled him from his business trips without doing too much is not one to mess with.
He wondered what she would do to him this time, but he prays she doesn't go on kissing spree cause he might just lose his sanity once again, and maybe this time might not be able to restrain himself.
"Mr. Black, you came? This is surprising." He met the gaze of the man that just spoke, Mr. Lee had a subtle smile on his lips, not wanting to cross the line with this man. It isn't his fault he cannot always but down his curiosity, and the man being here was quite a great shocker. "Too bad we couldn't complete our meeting the last time you visited, I've been expecting you since then." He added. "What for? I already settled the deal with your assistance." Liam asked picking a drink from his personal event waiter as he took a sip. That's one epic thing, he neither eats nor drinks at any party he attends.
"Something more private, just the same thing you're invited to this party for," Lee said not to get a reaction from the man standing before him, rather just stared at him without a word. The grand entrance of Morgan distracted everyone as all eyes were on her.
She looked so beautiful, it was her 26th birthday and for the first time in 6 years, Liam was in attendance. She couldn't ask for more, this was a dream come true, not only was he here, his eyes were on her, and he was staring at her as she stepped in. It felt like a dream and she had to remind herself many times this was reality, Liam is really back to her. Liam is really here, he's here for her, her father made it possible.
Carlos was way out of the party, from time to time his mind emphasized on everything Mr. Lee had said. He couldn't believe what he heard, he knew it, he knew this was the reason the man wanted to see his boss badly. He knew this was the reason he was suddenly kind to his boss, the last thing Carlos wanted was his boss to get close to that devious man. Even if at some point he got attracted to his boss and stopped when he noticed there was no way, he preferred his madam over these people. She's the perfect match for his master, the only woman that suits him so much.
The Berg's want a forced marriage with Liam, they want to have a part in his empire cause now they know he's no longer linked to his father's wealth, and his achievements are clear for everyone to see. It's surprising how a young man can achieve so much in such a short time of his life, even old men are yet to be on his level even after working for more than forty years of their life. "Whatever business you want can be discussed after this event can't it?" Liam asked Lee to see the man smile. "Yes you're right, let's just enjoy our time here."
"Mr. Black, what a wonderful surprise, here I thought you'd turn down my invitation." Berg smiled, "It's a business invitation, I don't turn down such appointments." He said as both men walked away. He wasn't here for the party so leaving was nothing to him, even if his presence meant a lot to Morgan. Anyone could see the disappointment on her face, even behind the thick makeup, she couldn't wait to have him all to herself just like before.
Once upon a time, she was the only girl he had his eyes on, the only girl he talked to. She missed those eyes on her, she missed the way he stared at her which was similar to the way he stared at that little unknown girl. She could recall the ownership in her eyes when she stared at Liam, even if he asked his driver to send her back home. Morgan wanted to know who she is, Liam does not associate with women unless he wants to bed you.
Still, she's never seen him associate with girls this little.
So who is she?...

"I want to see you after this class, I need to talk to you," Dante said calmly next to her ears as he stared at their professor, learning was one thing Dante hated more than ever. Left for him he would not even be in school but, not think of sitting for classes. He just got drawn to her from the first time he saw her, he thought he could have a little rat to bully, but it turns out she's one of the biggest fishes in the sea.
Elsa said nothing to him but rather listened to their professor, she was furious at the one man that ditched for another woman. She was fine before, she never asked for his love, nor his care, she let out a sigh passing her fingers through her hair as she bit her lower lips. Dante was the least of her problems right now, but she was ready to address the issues between them and end this madness once and for all.
The class wasn't yet over and she had to leave not minding the person calling before her. "Elsa!" He called, "Elsa, where have you been we've searched everywhere for you for two days now." Jesse and Preya walked up to her, worry was evident on their faces. "I tried calling you both too, but I couldn't." She said ignoring the voice she heard earlier.
"Excuse us, ladies." Dante dragged her from the girls, she struggled to break free from his grip but couldn't cause of how strong his grip was. Throwing her into the football boys' locker room, Dante banged the door behind them making the girl flinch a bit. "Let's see how tough you can be now." He said letting her go, Elsa met his gaze and tried walking away but she couldn't move the man standing by the door.
"What do you want from me Dante let me go?" She asked, "Oh so now her majesty wants to have a conversation." He teased to not get a reaction from her, "Stay away from me Dante to avoid trouble, I'm not to be seen around you." She tried walking away but he blocked her way once more, there is no way she could escape from him, not when he was two times her size. "Why? cause he would beat you up, the man you're married to?" She met his gaze with one brow raised.
Great he knows, the one secret she's been trying to hide till she graduates. All she wanted was live low, who knew she'd get caught up in Dante's mess?

"It's a good thing you decided to come, our business meeting has been postponed to next week, there is no way we'd be discussing that in this noisy environment, especially when I should be out there, no, we should be out there celebrating Morgans birth." Daniel Berg said to the man. "You know one thing I hate more than anything is having my time wasted," Liam said sternly.
He wasted his time attending a meeting that would later be canceled, a time he would have spent beside his woman. "I'm so sorry Liam, I would have told you in time if I knew the party would be this congested." Mr. Berg tried to explain, he already had all of this in mind. Yes, they've heard of Liam's marriage rumor, but who cares? No man is limited from marrying more than one woman.
No law or book forbids it, besides Liam does not look like a man that would marry for love, he doubts he even knows the girl he's married to. His daughter is a part of the Blacks was another title added to his family, and he would love that more than ever.
Morgan is a beautiful woman, and there's a high chance they would fall in love again since they were once lovers.
