Two pairs of black shoes stepped out of his car as they strode towards a building secluded from the rest in this small town. This is the place Carlos informed him about, they've kept Raf's mother in this small town and have been keeping a close eye on her so she doesn't escape.
Liam stepped into the building, since she came across his thought, he decided to visit her and know who she was to his father. He didn't know why the useless woman suddenly became of great importance to him. He's never really seen her before and wanted to see her now. "W... Who are you please don't hurt me." Claudia begged.
She gets visited by strange men who do nothing but feed her and threaten her not to leave. Maisha promised not to tell on her, but it seems like they were after her again, how could she have trusted that woman? She was tired of this life, all she wanted to do was see her son.
The last time she saw her baby boy was on his delivery day, she didn't hold him for five minutes before they took him away. She's thrived to survive all those years, physically and mentally, but nothing seems to be walking anymore. For nights she endured her breast anguishes cause there was no baby to suck on them. She had painful monthly blood flow for years cause of the pain Donovan put her through.
There was nothing and no one to ease her pain, but she knew she had to survive if she wanted to see her son again. She accepted the pain for hers as part of her punishment for betraying her sister but she's jad enough. She's suffered enough, all she asks is to see her son once more before dying. "At least let me see my son before I die. Tell your master I want my son before he kills me."
He was right, she's another whore that happened to bear a child for her father, what was he thinking when he came here? What information could he possibly get from the hands of this woman? He thought turning to the door and was ready to leave when she held his hands back. "Lorenzo." He met her gaze, no one dared called him that except his mother.
That name died when she died, he was glad everyone respected that, but how did this woman know him? He can't recall seeing her anywhere so how did she know who he is by his maiden name? "You still have your birthmark." She stopped touching his hands terrified by the look on his face. "I'm sorry." she quickly stated.
"What are you?" Came his cold question, "I knew you wouldn't recognize me anymore." She smiled. "You were two when I stopped visiting but I'll always send gifts to you on your birthdays, and would write, 'Love from aunt Claudia." She started with a smile. All those gifts and letters were written while she was pregnant, Donovan jad promised to get married to her but he couldn't cause he still loved his wife so much.
The last thing he wanted was to hurt her. Just like his son, he was a very attractive man while he was young, one among the men that had women swooning all over them. She wanted to let her sister know about it, but her son's life and hers were at stake. A few years later, she discovered Donovan was with another woman, and she thought he'd dump her as he did to her, but it turns out he loved her more.
"After my affair with your father I had to leave for good." He said nothing and just watched her talk. Liam recalled those gifts but her face was something he couldn't remember, while his mum was dead he had thought he'd see her, but she wasn't there. None of her relatives was there to support him, they were all angry at his father for killing his mother that they forgot about him completely.
He stepped out of the small house without another word, seeing her again brought back the pain he's shared alone for years. He's buried those pain deep in his heart, in a place where they can't come out, but for some reason, it was so easy for her to bring the pain back.
He arrived back at the mansion late at night, since he had other things to do, for now, his life was settled. His beautiful wife finally got into college which meant so much to him. She could focus on that while he thinks of building her an empire for their generation to come. He went into Donovan's bedroom to see how he was doing but unfortunately, he was awake.
"Liam." Donovan stopped his conversation with Dax the moment he noticed his presence. "I never knew you were around." "Let her be, it's been years since she bore your child she deserves to be free," Liam said calmly before stepping out. Donovan was confused at his words, he didn't recall holding anyone anymore, the last time he ever sent his men after anyone was before his wife's death.
Wait, what was Liam talking about?
Who was he referring to?
Does this mean Claudia is alive? All these questions ran through his head all at once. Instead of thinking deeper, he had to take a deep breath and clear his head and thoughts. He wasn't strong yet to think that distant.

Two weeks were fast coming by and to this hour Claire still felt like she was dreaming. Dating Damien was her dream, but now she's married to him, he's hers now and hers alone. She watched him sign the document before him, and so did she. Claire couldn't stop smiling, she was elated, uncontrollably happy to be with the one man her heart strived for.
They've both been through a lot together and she was finally happy to be his wife. Photos of their marriage contract were taken by her, she wanted everyone to know about it. She wanted everyone to see how perfect her life has become, to let them know not only Elsa could have the best life. They decided to not throw a ceremony cause both people were still too young to do that, but when they were done with college, they both can decide to let the world know about it and get married openly.
Mr. Rival smiled as he watched his son sign the document, beneath that nonchalant expression was sadness. Only he was aware of his son's feelings, but the deal they made with Florence was a huge one, how could he refuse. Damien will learn to accept this soon, that he was sure off. Claire is a beautiful, fun, and cheering girl, there's nothing not to like about her, that's one of the reasons they loved her so much.
"It's done, welcome to the family Claire." Mr. Rival stated and hugged her, so did his wife and Florence, and then it was Damien. Their hug got the old people clapping making both young and newly married couples blush. Showing affection before everyone was so embarrassing for the both of them, they both walked out of the lounge and over to their room without saying a word to each other.
They were yet to understand each other, especially with Damien who did not find her attractive. He knew she's chased him for years, but there was a reason he never even gave a thought to her. She might be so pretty in the eyes of everyone, but for some weird reason, she wasn't to him.
"They got into the same college so they'd be resuming in two weeks." Mrs. Rival whispered to Florence who was about to take her to leave, she's traded her only daughters for a business collaboration that doesn't benefit her. She was merely doing the Rivals a favor which she's so sure they'd forever be grateful for.
"That is good news that deserves to be celebrated," Florence stated.

A slender figure ran through fhe side of the road, she held a paper in her hands as she was headed for the little hospital three(3)miles away from their apartment. Jackie was right, this city is indeed different from the last and it's more comfortable than the former. She wondered if Maisha would be looking for them at this point, but since they've both changed their names and identity, she was sure no one would find her.
Hazel cleaned the drop of sweets on her forehead with the back of her hands, the smile on her face was evident she was extremely happy. She couldn't wait to Inform Jackie about the news she had to share. Jackie has been like a big sister to her, she's helped her I do many ways and Hazel decided to work hard and support her.
Taking revenge against a family as big as the Blacks would take time, but she was willing to wait, no matter how long it took.
"Jackie, I passed, I've been enrolled among the student admitted this year."
