Mira quickly nodded then watched his back with another sigh and after he disappeared from her sight, she turned around then started walking toward the weapon room where the rests were busily preparing.

Outside the basement, Zach glanced sideways at his brother while sitting on the driver's seat as he drove the car out of the forest.
"Big bro, is this a good time to meet them? I mean, can't we wait until sister-in-law is found first?" He asked worried with a small frown.
Carl slowly shook his head and replied, "No." then he glanced out at the sky which is slowly turning dark, and sighed heavily.
Lily had suddenly texted him a while ago that her parents are in the city and wanted to see him. This is actually a great time, as he also has so many questions to ask them.
After hearing his brother's reply Zach slowly nodded, realizing what he was thinking and he increased the car's speed as it drove out of the forest.
** An Hour Later **
The car finally arrived in a silent neighborhood and Zach stopped the car in front of a house then walked out of it while glancing warily between his brother who had also got out of the car, and the house ahead.
He sighed inside, then slowly followed behind him, as they walked past the gate toward the front door.
After ringing the doorbell for a few seconds, the door was slowly opened by Lily whose face was wet with tears.
Glancing at the guys standing in front of her, Lily looked down while biting her lips. Then she opened the door wide before stepping aside and wiped her tears with a sigh.
Carl also sighed after glancing at the girl. He walked past the door toward the living room with his brother trailing behind him. He suddenly paused in his footsteps after reaching the living room while his eyes widened tremendously at the sight in front of him.
"Big bro." Zach gasped with dilated pupils as he also stare at the man who was sitting beside a woman that looked a lot like Lily. He was very convinced that they were sister-in-law's fake parents. However, the thing that surprised him most was that the man really did look like one of the men in the portrait his brother had drawn, even though he seemed slightly older.
It was no wonder that after searching for their information, they could only get his name but not even a picture. His eyes slowly turned to Jack who was sitting on another couch with a dark expression and he gulped. 'Shit!' It seems like the guy had already found out.'
Carl also glanced at Jack after breaking out of his shock and he sighed inside, then slowly walked toward the couple with his gaze fixed on the middle-aged man.
"Where is my daughter? Where is Clara?" The woman who had been sobbing quietly asked in a hoarse voice as she slowly looked up with teary eyes while glancing between the two guys.
'What kind of fate is this?' She sobbed and held on tightly to her husband's arm. She couldn't believe that it was the same people they had taken the girl away from that had been the ones she had gotten entangled with all along.
"It's alright Anna..." Her husband patted her back with a sigh then calmly turned toward the guys who had already sat down on a couch.
"I'm sure you have all found out the truth." The man chuckled sadly while glancing between Jack and Carl then said, "It is not in my position to inform you why she was taken."
"What do you mean?" Zach asked while staring at the man in confusion.
And Lily who had already sat down beside Jack glanced up and stared at her father with knitted brows, because he had actually not told her anything much about her sister, and the only thing she knew was that her father had to protect her.
Carl also stared at the man in confusion and slowly nodded while thinking if it had something to do with the bearded man. then he heard him continued.
"You have to follow me somewhere... The most important now is to find her." The man muttered, then turned to his daughter. "Lily, go inside with your mother."
"Alright Dad," Lily replied softly with a nod, then stood up after glancing sideways at Jack with a sigh. She carefully helped her mother up, who was still sobbing silently, then they walked away, heading toward one of the bedrooms.
After the women had left, the room sank into silence and Jack glanced down at his phone which had suddenly made a beeping sound, showing a text message notification. After reading the message, he stood up with a sigh. "Father-in-law, I have to pick Mum and Dad from the airport," he said to the middle-aged man who slowly nodded. Then he strode out of the house after giving Carl another glare.
The room sank into silence again, with the man's eyes still fixed on the guys who were staring back at him. He sighed again then stood up and started walking out of the house after saying, "We have no time to waste... Let's go."
"Big bro... This man..." Zach's eyes followed the man's back warily and he glanced at his brother who also had a small frown on his face.
There's really something strange about the man.
They also stood up and walked out of the house where they met the man already waiting for them and shortly after, they all drove away in the car.

__ Lin Mansion __
After walking out of the bathroom in her pajamas, Vivian slumped down on her bed with a sigh while slowly wiping the tears that were falling down her face rapidly.
She bit her lips and after some minutes, breathed in deeply then slowly glanced sideways at the necklace which was on the bedside table.
Extending her hand, just as she was about to pick it up, the door suddenly opened and her head snapped in that direction with a gasp, then she sighed in relief, seeing that it was her mother that had walked inside.
