The anonymous company that she had signed a contract with is really paying a lot, so even if she didn't get any job soon, it won't be a problem.
Lily's soft gaze lingered on her sister's side profile for a while and she sighed inside then continued eating the fruit while feeding her now and then.
After some minutes, Clara glanced up from the computer then chuckled softly and said, "Maya and her husband would return tomorrow, had she informed you?"
"Yeah." Lily slowly nodded with a small smile then heard her continued.
"Hehehe, and she's opening the mall next week. Great, isn't it? I can't believe Maya is finally achieving her dreams."
"Yes, Big Sis... Her husband is really supportive... Sis Maya had told me that the mall he opened for her is a very huge one," Lily muttered softly with a small smile then added. "Isn't it great to have a man who loves you and supports you at the same time? They are really rare nowadays... So when a person finds one, it's better to hold on tightly to him and never let go."
"Lily!?" Clara sighed exasperatedly, knowing where the topic is straying to. She gave her sister a helpless look then turned her attention back to the laptop screen again with pursed lips.
Lily softly sighed again and silently watched the comics are sister was drawing, she would comment now and then and after a while heard the doorbell ring, and a small smile appeared on her lips.
"Big Sis, lemme get the door," she muttered softly then stood up and started walking toward the door while Clara nodded as her attention was still fixed on the screen.
After reaching the door, Lily opened it with the smile still on her face. "You're here," she muttered softly while staring at the guy who was smiling back at her then giggled softly as he suddenly wrapped both arms around her.
"Sorry, I'm late." Jack kissed her cheek which earned him another soft giggle from her.
Lily slowly shook her head then wrapped her arms around his neck. "No, you're just on time?" She replied calmly with a smile then pecked him on the lips and they both walked toward the living room.

Glancing up from her laptop, Clara's eyes lit up as she watched the couple walked toward the couch opposite her and sat down. "Brother-in-law," she greeted cheerfully and Jack replied with a chuckle.
"Lemme get you something to drink..." Lily said with a small smile then stood up and started walking toward the kitchen.
"Oh, okay." Jack glanced up at her and nodded with a smile then turned his attention to the girl who is now engrossed in her work.
"What are you working on?" He asked softly then watched as she turned the screen toward him.
"Comics. See?... How do they look?" Clara asked cheerfully and Jack slowly nodded with another chuckle.
"They're really great, sister-in-law... I bet your work will grab a lot of attention very soon."
"Hehehe, right..." Clara beamed then turned the screen around and continued what she was doing.
After some seconds, Lily came back with a glass of juice in hand and sat down beside the guy again.
"Oh, thank you." Jack was about to take the glass from her hand and she slowly shook her head then extended the cup to his lips and started feeding him the juice.
He sipped it slowly with a small smile and after he was done, watched as she carefully dropped the glass and picked up a tissue from the tissue box which was on the table.
Meanwhile, Clara who had been glancing at them now and then rolled her eyes and sighed inside for the umpteenth time, after seeing her sister wiped the guy's mouth with the tissue.
Just as she was about to pick a fruit from the plate, the girl suddenly took the plate in front of her. "Lily?" She sighed exasperatedly.
Lily glanced at her with an innocent expression, then turned her attention to the guy again with a small smile.
"Here." She started feeding him the fruits and Jack chuckled while eating happily.
Clara continuously breathed deeply while trying to control her anger. She obviously knew what her sister was up to.
"Lily, It's getting late. don't you have lectures tomorrow morning?" She asked softly with a forced smile.
Lily carefully dropped the plate then slowly nodded while smiling softly. "Yes, Big Sis... I'll wake up early," she replied in her usual soft voice then started dabbing the guy's lips with another tissue again.
"Jack, I know you're just coming back from the office and haven't eaten... Do you want me to cook you something before we leave?" She said softly while dusting the imaginary dust off the guy's shoulder after dropping down the tissue and Jack started stroking her hair with a chuckle.
Clara's expression darkened more and she took in another breath again, obviously tired from receiving the dog food. She quickly cleared her throat before the guy could answer then said, "Lily, why don't you guys go back now? I'm suddenly sleepy."
Lily glanced at her again then slowly shook her head."No, Big Sis... Jack needs to eat first, he's hungry... Right, Jack?"
"Oh." Jack chuckled with a nod and just as he was about to reply, their heads snapped to the girl who had already stood up with a jerk.
"Jack, take your fiancee and get out of my apartment now!!!" Clara snapped with a glare, not able to control her anger anymore.
"Huh?... Oh, okay." Jack nodded rapidly and held Lily's hand who was now giggling softly then they bid the furious girl goodnight and hurried out of the apartment.
'Hmph.' Clara puffed up her cheeks and then slumped down on the couch. Her hand subconsciously wandered to her left cheek and she sighed heavily then continued working on her comics.
Some minutes passed by before her doorbell started ringing and she stood up with a smile, knowing who it was.
