He didn't get to finish his sentence when a dark chuckle was heard from the bed and both of them snapped their heads to the guy who now had on a very dark expression.
And before they could register anything, Carl was already out of the room and both Zach and Mira turned to each other with dilated pupils.

"Thanks." Lucy smiled softly as she took the tea tray from the maid then turned back and started walking toward her mother's room.
She sniffed silently and slowly opened the door then walked inside the room while her gaze landed on her mother who was still sobbing on the bed.
After fainting yesterday, her mother had not eaten anything and had been crying nonstop while muttering incoherent words.
"Mummy," she muttered softly and sat beside her on the bed then placed the tea tray on the bedside table.
"Lucy, when would your brother return?... there's something I want to tell him," the woman muttered in a hoarse voice while staring up at her daughter with puffy eyes.
The girl carefully picked up the teacup from the tray and slowly shook her head. She was about to reply when the door suddenly opened with a bang and they both gasped while their heads flipped in that direction.
"Big bro." Lucy stood up excitedly however, in the next second, the teacup in her hand dropped down and shattered on the floor as she watched her brother's furious expression.
His stepmother quickly stood up from the bed and hurried toward him."Son__"
"Where is she," Carl muttered under his breath with clenched fists as his eyes slowly darted around the room then landed in the bathroom direction whose door was suddenly opened.
"Big bro." Vivian gasped with widened eyes and the wet towel in her hands dropped down on the floor.
She stepped back fearfully while watching as he furiously strode toward her and in the next second, he was strangling her neck.
"What did you tell her!?" Carl snapped with fury as the girl struggled violently from his grip.
His stepped mother got out of her shock and she ran toward them. "Son, let go of her. please stop it... What had gotten into you?." She sobbed bitterly while trying to drag him away fruitlessly.
Vivian felt her vision blurred as his hands tightened on her neck. Tears started streaming down her face while she tried to get away from his tight grip. "Big bro__"
"Answer me!!!"
By then, Zach and Mira were already inside the room while watching the scene unfold with wide eyes.
Mira's eyes darted to Lucy whose body was trembling violently with teary eyes and she hurried toward the girl then pulled her out of the room.
Zach had also rushed to his stepmother who had fallen down on the floor and he quickly held her up.
"Big bro please... you're hurting me." Vivian sobbed helplessly while staring into his dark eyes as his grip was still tightening on her with each second and she felt her breathing would stop any moment from now. No, she don't want to die like this.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" his father suddenly yelled angrily from the door then rushed inside the room.
"Are you crazy!!!?" He looked at his son with fiery eyes then yanked off his grips from the girl's neck.
Carl clenched his fists and his attention turned to his father with a glare. "What is she still doing here?" He muttered coldly while his eyes darted to his stepmother who was sobbing in Zach's arms.
"What do you mean by that!!!" His father pointed a finger at him and snapped. "Isn't it obvious!!!?"
"How many times do I have to tell you that I won't marry her!!! I have nothing to do with the death of the baby!!!" Carl yelled back and everyone in the room gasped except Zach.
His cold gaze landed on Vivian who was still trying to catch her breath and he instantly grabbed her.
His stepmother was the one that got out of her shock first and she gasped while watching him hurled the girl out of the room. "H..Henry... stop him. He's taking her to the basement!" She wailed after her husband who also got out of his shock and quickly followed the pair out of the room.
"Son, w..what does he m..meant by that... the baby..." She turned to Zach who quickly nodded while his gaze followed the door.
"Yes, she__ Mum!!!?" His attention turned to the woman who had suddenly fainted and his eyes widened tremendously.

Vivian was still sobbing silently as she was being dragged toward the car while her eyes were fixed on the furious guy's back. "Big bro__"
"Shut up!!!" Carl cut her off and just as he was about to open the backseat, his father caught up with them.
"Are you out of your mind!!!?" The man glared at him and forcefully yanked the girl off his hand.
Carl clenched and unclenched his fists while trying to control his anger. "I don't want to see you the next time I come back here." He glared at the girl then also gave his father a last glare and entered the car then slammed the door with a bang.
The man's eyes followed the car which had zoomed out of the mansion with furrowed brows. What does he mean a while ago? Did he recover his memories?.
Sighing heavily, his attention turned to the girl who was sobbing bitterly in his arms and he patted her shoulder. "Let's go inside dear."
Vivian sniffed and slowly nodded while rubbing her neck. She glanced back at the mansion gate with more tears streaming down her face, while they walked back inside the building.

Jack came out of his room with a small smile then started walking toward the dining table.
"Morning..." He greeted the girls who were chatting happily while eating then sat down on the chair and joined them.
