"Okay," He replied and sighed in relief, remembering their portrait that his brother had drawn. It was going to be easy to find them__ he hopes so.
All the while, David was driving silently and he also sighed in relief, knowing that his boss had finally recovered those memories which is a great relief.
Hours passed by, before they drove out of the airport and reached the mansion and by then the morning sun had started coming up.
Feeling exhausted from the long flight, both brothers walked out of the car and got inside the mansion while the assistant took his car and also went home.
Walking up the stairs and through the hallway, Zach couldn't take his eyes off his brother who had on a small smile on his face and he also chuckled.
"Big Bro, about your proposal to sister-in-law, I have a perfect plan in mind," he leaned closer and whispered to his brother.
Carl paused in his footsteps and frowned slightly. "I can do it myself," he replied curtly and walked away. He wouldn't want his crazy brother to foil his plans of asking her to marry him.
Zach who had been poured a bucket of cold water pursed his lips and sighed. "Well, let's see how you're gonna do it without my help, Big bro." He chuckled and continued walking toward his room.
When he opened the door and walked inside the room his eyes widened in excitement as it landed on the bed where Mira was sleeping.
"Baby" he exclaimed happily and jumped into the bed.
Mira groaned in her sleep then slowly opened her drowsy eyes which were instantly met with Zach's wide grin and her expression darkened.
"Zach, you didn't go to the basement, where are you coming from?" She snapped with a raised brow while gripping tightly onto his collar.
Zach kissed her cheeks with a chuckle then wrapped both arms around her and swiftly flipped her around until she was laying atop him.
"I had to accompany Big bro somewhere," he replied with a grin and watched as her expression slowly turned calm.
Mira nodded with an "Oh." sound then sighed inside. She sat up on his laps and looked up gloomily while biting her lower lip.
Zach's expression turned serious and he frowned slightly. "What is wrong?" He asked softly and watched as a tear dropped from her eyes. "Mira?"
Mira sniffed and wrapped both arms around him, then rested her head on his chest.
"Zach... there's something I need to tell Big bro," she muttered in a whisper while trying to control her sobs.
Zach's frown deepened and he slowly stroked her hair then heard her continued.
"It's about Clara." Mira looked up at him with teary eyes then sighed inside.
"Sister-in-law? what is wrong? what happened to her?" He asked anxiously and watched as she slowly bit her lips. "It's okay, don't cry... Big bro is in his room, you will talk to him later." He sighed inside and slightly patted her back.
Mira slowly nodded then unwrapped her arms around him and lay down on the bed with a sigh.
Zach removed his shoes and lay down beside her and she snuggled closer to him. He wrapped his arm around her and also sighed, wondering what had really happened.
** Thirty Minutes Later **
Carl gazed down at the small box in his hand with a chuckle as he sat on his bed.
He had now changed into his home clothes after taking another bath.
Taking out his phone which had been switched off for the past two weeks, He heaved a deep sigh with the smile still plastered on his face.
'I should call her.' He thought happily while switching it on. He had thought of going to her apartment but had to tell his father of his discovery first.
Dialing her number, a frown settled on his face after some seconds, discovering that her phone was switched off.
He dialed it several times while his frown deepened and finally gave up with a sigh, thinking her phone's battery had run down.
He was still in his thoughts when a soft knock came from the door and he wondered if it was his sister or stepmother.
"Come in," he muttered, while putting down his phone and dropping the small box in the drawer of the bedside table then watched as Mira walked inside the room with his brother trailing behind her.
"Big bro," Mira greeted softly and he nodded a reply while gesturing her to seat on the couch opposite the bed.
"What is wrong?" He asked with a small frown, after seeing her teary eyes, then he glanced at his brother with a glare.
"W... We didn't have a fight." Zach quickly shook his head with widened eyes and sat down beside the girl then hurriedly said, " She has something to tell you about sister-in-law."
"Clara?" Carl's frown deepened and he turned to the girl who now had tears streaming down her face then his heart started thumping rapidly.
Mira sniffed and glanced at both brothers whose eyes were now fixed on her anxiously. She sighed deeply then started narrating what had happened in City H;
How Clara had been acting weird and how she later found out from her sister about what happened to her, and her heart illness then her memory loss.
She slowly explained, without leaving anything out, except for her intuition that Vivian had something to do with it.
Both brothers stared wide-eyed at the girl who is now sobbing silently and Zach was the first to break out of his shock.
"Y...You mean. sister-in-law c..can't remember anything about Big bro?" He stammered with a shaky finger and jerked up from the couch.
"Y...Yes." Mira sniffed and glanced up at Carl whose expression is turning darker.
"B...But the voices... I didn't make any phone call with sister-in-law," Zach exclaimed then his eyes widened again. " Shit! don't tell me it__"
He didn't get to finish his sentence when a dark chuckle was heard from the bed and both of them snapped their heads to the guy who now had on a very dark expression.
