They both exclaimed at the same time and Clara chuckled then gripped them tighter, making the twins bent slightly as they were taller than her.
"Got you!," she snapped with a glint in her eyes and pulled them to a corner while they cried out helplessly, trying to free out of her grasp.
"Claire! Stop it... Please."
"Argh! my ears."
Both guys whimpered and Clara finally released their ears while making sure to hold their arms in a tight grip.
"You... Both of you__ you're going to pay for what you did!!!" Clara snapped while giving them a hard glare.
It was a good thing that Jack had quickly taken her back to her apartment that night after they had made her drink the wine.
Otherwise, her image would have been completely crumbled if she had embarrassed herself in front of all the socialites in the business party.
Both guys stared at her warily and they glanced between each other.
"It was actually Greg's idea."
"It was George's idea."
They both spoke at the same time while pointing a finger at each other and Clara was about to refute when Mira suddenly rushed toward them.
" Clara, what is wrong with you." Mira panted heavily with a hand splayed on her chest.
Her attention turned to the guys in matching black outfits and she stilled in one place and the next second, squealed loudly.
"Twins!!!"
Glancing at her friend's flabbergasted expression, Clara shook her head then turned back to the cunning guys with a sharp look.
"Why did you give me the wine that night!!!" She snapped while pointing a finger at both of them.
The twins chuckled awkwardly while glancing at each other. " We thought you were his girlfriend."
"What!? Whose girlfriend? Jack's!!!?" Mira guffawed and held her stomach.
after a while, she looked up still trying to stop her laughter which erupted again, glancing at Clara's dumbfounded expression.
The twins watched the laughing girl gleefully then they glanced at each other and a chuckle escaped their lips.
Clara gave them a warning look while studying their expression and they quickly retreated.
"Clara, let's go. We're running out of time." Mira grabbed her friend's hand after calming down and started striding forward.
"Wait."
"Wait."
The guys hurried behind them and one of them asked.
"Are you girls going to the dinner party?"
"No, we're going to sabotage it__" Mira gasped and instantly covered her mouth while Clara also gasped at the same time.
"Hehe."
"Hehe."
The guys chuckled and the flabbergasted girls could hear the delight in their voices.
"Claire, what are you girls up to?"
One of the twins asked with an excited expression and the other twin's expression was not lesser.
"Huh?" Clara glanced at Mira who also looked at her confusedly.
"Quick, Quick__ tell us the plan."
"Yes, what is the plan? We'll help you carry them out."
Looking at their excited expressions, Mira's eyes lit up and she hurriedly went closer to them.
Clara's lips twitched at the corner and she quickly grabbed her friend's arm back with a scoff. "Don't trust them, Mira."
"Please Claire. we aren't gonna trick you."
"Yes, Yes, we're very honest... please let's do it together."
Clara listened to their whines while rolling her eyes.
She's not a fool to believe whatever they say. But wait__
These guys are really prankish__ maybe they're really honest.
But why would they like to help them? She stroked her chin with a small frown then shrugged inside.
"Hey, I'm keeping an eye on you guys. You'd better stick to your words."
" Yes, yes."
" We'll certainly be. Thank you, Claire."
"And don't call me Claire!." Clara snapped then turned to Mira who was staring between them excitedly while tapping her foot on the floor.
"Yes!.This would be perfect... Quick Clara, we need to find a place for you to change, " Mira said anxiously and started walking forward while Clara followed behind.
"Wait."
"Wait."
The guys quickly stopped them then one of them said, "Follow us." Before leading them toward one of the guestrooms which were at the far end of the hallway.

Meanwhile, in another part of the mansions.
Freya slowly tapped the guy who had been sleeping for hours.
"Brother?" She called out softly while her gaze lingered on his face.
Hearing the soft melodious voice calling out his name,
Jack felt like he was in a void and the soft voice floating from above.
"Lily..." He subconsciously muttered but heard a small gasp which made his eyes slowly flickered open.
His vision was blurred but he could certainly make out the figure sitting in front of him.
Freya who had stilled for some seconds quickly regained herself and carefully helped him sat up on the bed.
"Brother... tomorrow's our engagement... you shouldn't be drinking a lot," she said softly with a small smile.
"Yeah." Jack nodded with a smile, finally getting a clear view of his surroundings.
"Brother... It's almost time for the dinner party. Uncle and Auntie came by some minutes ago. So..."
"Oh, the dinner party." Jack glanced down at her and realized that she had changed into a violet-colored dress layered with stones at the bodice.
She was now also wearing pieces of jewelry and her hair was beautifully styled differently, unlike earlier.
Freya blushed under his intense gaze and she quickly looked down with a soft smile.
"Give me some minutes." Jack sighed and got down from the bed then walked inside the bathroom.
Her gaze followed and she looked down at her clammy hands with a sigh. As various expressions flashed past her face.
Several minutes later, Jack emerged from the bathroom and glanced at the girl who was sitting quietly on the bed.
He breathed out another sigh then stepped inside the walk-in closet.
Freya glanced up some minutes later and watched him walking out now dressed in a grey suit.
Standing up from the bed, a small smile appeared on her lips and she walked toward him, seeing that he was still struggling with the necktie.
Her hands slowly grazed his and she stood up straight, feeling thankful for the high heels she was wearing.
Jack was shocked for a second then watched as she carefully arranged the necktie.
