Many people in California describe the mansion as" what God would have built if he had money". It contains 38 bedrooms, a theater, and a beauty salon. The main entrance of bas-relief of knights and Cherub Decor. The sitting room features walls adorned with velvet fabric and an Italian palazzo-painted ceiling. It has two pools. The Neptune pool is located outside. It is surrounded by sculptures and colonnades. It has a private zoo that allowed several creatures to freely roam like elephants and horses.
The indoor Roman pool was based on ancient Roman baths and features blue and gold-colored mosaic titles. It also contains paintings, pictures, and statues. Visitors could gather each evening at the "La Bienne" for drinks in the assembly room, dine in the refectory, and watch the latest movie in the theater before retiring to the luxurious accommodation provided by the guest houses of the Kings, casa del Mar, and the Elites. During the days, they admired the views, rode, played tennis, bowls, or golf, and swam in the " most sumptuous swimming pool on earth". Church was held in the mansion. Newton is an Atheist and he could say" We pay the pastors to keep their mouths shut when we sin" this has been his statement whenever his son Dave asked him why he allowed his mother to have church in the mansion. He even took Victoria's necklace despite the stories about it and surprisingly nothing happened to him.
Again, the Waves'Mansion has been under construction for years now. It has a lot of collections from Africa since Newton supported slave masters with goods and money to bring him slaves and collections. These slaves ended up working in the mansion and the mines. The mansion is filled with over fifty maids with the security men and bodyguards excluded. It has been a home for the Waves since the 1800s. It contained Joseph Waves ( Newton's Grandfather), Martha Waves ( Newton's mother), and Newton himself. He was the only child of his single mother and he inherited their wealth after their death. Their wealth started with Newton's Grandfather selling building materials in the 1700s. He produced hides and tallows, the first leading commodities that connected California with the outside world., He owned the first industry in California. Newton Aldo expanded the industry and now he owns even mining companies. The Waves are so rich that some people think they are royals. However, Newton seemed not to open up a lot about such stories." Hard work pays" he could tell the media and his workers. Having his almost grey hair in a bun, he walked alongside his bodyguards around the Neptune pool.
" They should be here by now", he said sipping his wine. He looks just like Dave but his older version. He wore a plaid shirt and cargo pants. Removing the glass from his lips, he turned to his left-hand side and told Jimmy ( one of his bodyguards) to call Thomas his driver. Although it was late in the night, he didn't think of changing his clothes and going to bed, he was in great anticipation to meet Liily.
" Oh stop. Here they are", he ordered a few minutes after pointing to the car coming into the mansion.
The maids kept going up and down preparing a room for their master's guest. Newton had just given them strict instructions about how he wanted the room should be. The whispering of the maids passing by her door woke Tracy up. She wore a soft purple Natori nightgown and had her hair scattered. She has been finding it difficult to sleep since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She came out only to find her maid rushing towards the East direction, carrying a glass of wine in her hand. She pulled her by the arm when she was about to leave without answering her.
" What's going on Kate?", Tracy asked her maid. She is a blonde woman who was in her early fifties but looked like in her late sixties. One could see the wrinkles on her face and her neckline. Her skin was sagging and she looked depressed.
" You are ugly!", Newton could burst out angrily at her.
" You disgust me, you know?", He could tell her each time he sets his eyes on her. He had forbidden her from entering his bedroom and he sees to it that she doesn't trespass.
" Sorry ma'am, master has a visitor", she answered.
" A visitor?" she, asked looking at the other maids busily going up and down.
" At this time?", She wondered. It was 1 am.
" And oh, a special guest ma'am", she said looking at the wine in her hands.
Lilly was peacefully laid in the canopy bed with toile. Sitting in the leopard-printed chair, Newton kept looking at Lilly sleeping in bed.
"Let's see what your brother will do if he finds out you are with me". he said smiling at Jack the guy who kidnapped her. He then ordered him to call Bill. He gave the telephone to him as soon as he picked.
" Guess where your sister is", he said looking at the clock it was almost two in the morning.
" I bet you have no idea", he added.
" Let me tell you.." Bill said about to threaten him but Newton hissed and ended the call.
One of the main reasons for kidnapping Lilly was because she looked like her wife.
" You look just like my wife, l..mean when she was beautiful and young," he said looking at her sleeping face. She was blonde too with long eyelashes and high cheekbones.
" Newton!", Bam, and the door opened revealing Tracy burning with anger in her veins. This caused him to snap out of his thoughts.
" Hey, mad woman. You wanna break my door?", he asked furiously.
" Who is she?" She asked pointing to the lady in bed and walking angrily towards him.
" Why do you ask?" he answered her question with another question and this got her wife mad.
" Answer me! " She exclaimed grabbing her hair as if she was losing her mind.
"Get out!" He warned her and signaled his bodyguards to get her out. They grabbed her by the arms and took her outside the room.
"I'm sorry my love, sleep well," he said kissing her cheeks before he left the room.
