Freen waits for the person who texted her and said they had information about Mr. On's death. She was standing at the side of the alley when she noticed a man approaching in her direction, but she couldn't see his face because he was wearing a cap and looking down while walking.
Freen sighed as it passed by. She thought it was what she was waiting for, but she was wrong. She is nervous about what she is doing to meet a stranger, but she can't pass up even one lead that might help find out the truth behind the murder of Mr. On.
She couldn't help but watch the person walk. She noticed that as it was fast walking towards the corner of the alley, it was pulling something on its back; she couldn't figure out what as it was already far from her, but whatever it was, she didn't see it as a good sign, which is why she followed him.
"No." Freen shouted when she saw the man that passed by her and went to Mr. Jaa, who was not surprisingly there as she knows he's been tailing her since.
The man turned it's back at her as Freen's voice echoed on that alley. Freen stopped from walking as she saw how the man look at her direction she was about to step back but the man didn't do anything and continue walking forward she looked at the man's hand she saw he's holding a map.
"Eh? " Freen blurted out and awkwardly scratched her head as she figured that the man was a tourist as he approached Mr. Jaa and asked for directions to the city center, looking desperately lost.
But then Freen realizes that Google Maps already exists. Is this man don't have a phone?
But when she was about to go near them and ask about it, a hand suddenly grabbed her arm and covered her mouth with a handkerchief so she wouldn't be able to shout to ask for help from Mr. Jaa.
Mr. Jaa was surprised when the person he thought was going to attack him was just asking directions. He was starting to instruct the guy about directions when he noticed that Freen was already not in the place he last saw her.
Black Pitch is what Freen can only see as she was blindfolded and tied up by this man who abducted her, and she's guessing she is inside a car as she can hear an engine and feel its moving pace. Freen's heart is pounding in her chest as she tries to remain calm and think of a way to escape. She wonders how long she will be held captive and what the man's intentions are.
'' Don't even think of doing something wrong, ma'am, if you still want to go back alive .'' The man must have seen what Freen was doing to the tape that was used to tie her hands up. Freen realized that the man was not someone to be messed with and decided to comply with his demands. She knew that her survival depended on her ability to stay calm and collected.
''What do you want from me? Who told you to do this?'' Freen spoke calmly to her abductor. The abductor remained silent, but she heard his nervousness.
"You know I could also pay you, so why bother hustling when we both knew you didn't want to do this?" She continued to talk to him, trying to establish a connection and understand his motives.
The kidnapper looked in Freen's direction and was shocked at how calmly she handled this situation. How could she handle this as if she were not scared of me? The abductor thought
''I don't need your money, '' was the abductor's short answer . He seemed to have a different motive for the kidnapping, and I couldn't quite figure out what it was. Perhaps he wanted something entirely different. Freen thought.
''At least let me know where you are taking me.'' Freen tried to start a conversation again with her abductor, but her heart was pounding with nervousness. The abductor remained silent, and Freen realized that she was in a dangerous situation. She tried to stay calm and think of a way to escape.
''Why are you being good to me despite the fact that you might die in my hands now? Aren't you afraid of me killing you?'' The abductor finally answered Freen.
"I am not afraid of you killing me. But I am afraid of the consequences that will follow your actions." Freen lied to get his sympathy.
''And I believe that you are not a bad person, so why would I be afraid of you? Freen added and faced the direction the voice was coming from.
''You know you don't have to do this. If you have a problem with me, you can just tell me that abducting me is not going to give you good results in the end. I understand that you might have some issues with me, but I believe there are better ways to resolve them than resorting to kidnapping. Let's talk about what's bothering you and see if we can find a solution together." Freen tried to talk to and convince her abductor . However, he seemed uninterested in listening to her and continued to hold her captive. Freen felt frustrated and scared, but she didn't give up hope of finding a way to escape.
''Why would I believe an award winning actress like you? I am only doing this because of my sister; I don't care about you at all.'' The man still tried to be stern, thinking Freen was only saying those things to fool him.
''Sister?''Freen's question was perplexed by the information her kidnapper had just provided."You mean your sister ordered you to kidnap me?" She asked. ''Why ?What harm did I cause her?''
Freen's mind was overthinking who would be the sister of her abductor, and what did she do to her to deserve this? She couldn't help but wonder if the sister was also a victim of their shared upbringing or if she played a role in her brother's actions. Freens knew she needed to focus on her own safety and escape, but her mind kept returning to these questions.
Freen was silent, waiting for her abductor's response to her question, but the abductor went silent again.
''No. She has nothing to do with this,'' her abductor told Freen.
"I am confused; you just told me that you are doing this because of your sister." Freen asked, confused.
"Yes, I am doing this because of her, but she didn't know I was doing this for her." Freen got more confused by what this man was saying.
Freen observed that the car stopped moving. The man looked at Freen and said, "I know it sounds strange, but I had to do something to show her how much she means to me before I ran out of time showing her." Freen realized that the man deeply loved his sister and decided to listen to his story.
He then removed Freen's blindfold she blink to adjust to the light and realized that they were in front of a hospital.
It is starting to make sense, but she still wants to know if her hint is true.
''What are we doing here?'' Freen asked .
"She is only 16; she is the only family I have." Her abductor was looking down and his grip on the steering was tight; even if Freen couldn't see his face, by the cracked sound of his voice, she knew that this man, who is in front of her, is in deep pain.
The man was wearing a delivery boy's uniform, and they are in a truck that Freen also guessed is a delivery van.
''Where is your sister ? '' Freen asked her abductor to make sure she got it right .
On the other hand
"Please tell us where your friend took Freen." Mr. Jaa was now interrogating the man who asked him for directions, as he suspected that this man was an ally of the people who abducted Freen. The man replied hesitantly that he didn't know where Freen was taken, but he saw a van with tinted windows parked nearby before the abduction. Mr. Jaa jotted down the information and thanked the man before heading to investigate the van.
They are now reviewing the CCTV footage of the area, seeing that there really is a van, but they still didn't let the guy go. As he was the only witness to the incident besides Mr. Jaa. The authorities are likely taking precautions to ensure the safety of the witness and verify the accuracy of his testimony before releasing him. It's possible that they are also conducting further investigations to gather more evidence and identify potential suspects.
By gathering all the CCTV footage, they manage to locate where the van in which Freen is being held is now headed. They immediately dispatch a team to intercept the van and rescue Freen before it's too late. They also alert nearby law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the van in case it changes direction.
Saint decided to go with them to make sure that no media would interfere with the operation, and he also requested the authorities make this operation as discreet as they could because he didn't want the media to make things more complicated for Freen. Saint knew that media attention could put Freen's life in danger and jeopardize the success of the operation. He believed that keeping a low profile was crucial to ensure Freen's safety and to bring her back home unharmed.
''Sir, we are all in position at your command.'' They all saw how Freen and a man her age in the uniform of a delivery boy got out of the van, and the team was ready to attack the man.
No. no. no. don't stop." Mr. Jaa noticed something odd Freen was tied and in good condition. He even brought a cake before they got back inside the car parked near the hospital again.
Saint and Mr. Jaa looked at each other .
'' I want you all to stand by . No one . I repeat, no one should make a move without my command.'' Mr. Jaa commanded his team to wait for his signal before taking any action, emphasizing the importance of following his lead in order to ensure Freen's safety.
''Come with me , '' Mr. Jaa said to Saint, and he complied.
''Will get inside'' Mr. Jaa led Saint towards the entrance of the building, where they planned to sneak in undetected and gather more information before giving the green light for his team to proceed.
''Stage 4 cancer, her body is barely responding to her medication, and the doctors have suggested that she spend more time with her loved ones and make the most of the time she has left. They have also recommended palliative care to keep her comfortable during this difficult time.'' Her abductor explained as they entered the patient's room. Freen's heart broke upon seeing the condition of her abductor's sister. The abductor apologized for his actions and revealed that his sister was suffering from a rare disease that required expensive treatment. He begged Freens to cooperate with his supposed to his which is bringing Freen to personally as he promised her sister in bringing her to Freen to see her Idol personally before they found out her condition was gettin worse.
He begged Freens to cooperate with his supposed plan, which is to bring Freen to personally see her idol, as he promised her sister he would bring her to see her idol personally before they found out her condition was getting worse. He explained to Freen that it was his sister's dying wish to meet her idol, and he didn't want to disappoint her. He hoped that Freen would understand the urgency of the situation and help him fulfill his sister's last wish.
''Oh, god . Why didn't you tell me first about your situation? You don't have to do such things to convince me to do such a thing.'' Freen uttered the words with tears in her eyes .
"I apologize for what I did. I just wanted to get your attention, as I tried many times to get your attention but your staff always prevented me from coming near you, but I realize now that it was not the right way to do it," Freen looked at him confused and wiped her tears away.
''Who the hell did that to you?'' Freen asked. But the guy didn't and just looked down.
Mr. Jaa commanded his team to retreat as they heard the conversation between Freen and the abductor, and Saint and him stayed outside, observing how happy the teenage girl with cancer was to celebrate her last birthday with her idol, Freen.
They heard how Freen cried when the girl died, and the doctors declared her death, and Saint immediately embraced Freen tightly, and Saint and Mr. Jaa escorted her out of the hospital without getting anybody's attention .
