After parting from the hug, Felix approached Amya and said, "Of course I had to make it. How could I miss the birthday of such a special person? Here is your lovely present my dear, I hope you like it." And he handed the present to Amya. Amya accepted the gift hesitantly because she did not know if it was alright to accept a gift from a man whom was hated by her mother but since it was a party and everyone was watching her, she had to accept the gift in spite of her mother's disapproving gaze.
After seeing Amya accepting Felix's gift, Amber felt hurt and disgusted, that she felt the very air in the room begin to suffocate her. She then left the party and went outside to the hotel's garden and she began to take out her anger and frustration on the grass on the lawn in the garden by kicking it furiously. "I can't believe that bastard had the nerve to show up at my daughter's birthday party and also back into my life! Uuurgh!! I hate this!!" exclaimed Amber whilst she was kicking the grass furiously. "Amber!" someone called from behind her.
Amber's mind completely went frozen, and she felt her body stiffen from both anger and disgust. 'How dare he!! How dare this bastard show up into her life again after all these years and after what he had done to her!!" these were the thoughts running amok in Amber's mind after hearing Felix call her name behind her. Gathering her resolve, she slowly turned around and faced the disgusting bastard that ruined her life.
After setting her eyes on him, she noticed that he was still the handsome man that she met twenty-eight years ago, the only slight difference was his hair which was turning light brown because of age. "You!! What do you want?" asked Amber writhing in anger. "How are you?" asked Felix whilst stepping closer to Amber.
Amber moved back and answered, "Don't you dare come closer to me!! What do you want Felix Peralta?" "Well isn't obvious. I came to my daughter's birthday party. I came to see her." Replied Felix. "Well you are wrong! Amya is not your daughter! She mine and only mine!! So you have absolutely no right to come over here because she is not your daughter!! So get that through your head and stay away from her!!" replied Amber fuming in anger.
"Amber! Amber! My beautiful sweet Amber! What happed to the two of us! What happened that things ended up this way huh! We used to be so in love with each other that our flaws and big mistakes could not separate us or come between us. We would always fight strongly for our love. So what happened to that perfect love that we had for each other, for it to be forgotten like this?" said Felix whilst trying to reach out to touch Amber.
But Amber took another step back and turned her back to Felix and furiously replied, "Stop pretending like you don't know remember what happened and also the disgusting act that you did you bastard!! Just stop it!! You ruined my life! After I gave you what you wanted from me all along! My innocence! What did you say? That our love was strong to the point that every flaw and mistake that we made, we always forgave each other and continued to move on! Well wrong! That was not our love but it was my love! My love was the one that blinded me from realizing the truth that was in front me!
That you were nothing but a cheap bastard who only took pleasure in taking away women's innocence and destroying their dignity! I forgave you for every mistake that you made because I thought you were going to change! But damn!! Was I wrong!! I thought we were going to be happy together! I thought that you loved me and wanted to marry me and build a family together! I was so stupid and naively in love that I even went ahead to plan the wedding without realizing that I was going to make a big mistake! You were the one that killed the so called love that we had that you also said was seemingly strong when you decided to break our relationship in the most painful harsh way!! I waited at the alter like fool waiting to get married to you whilst you were busy enjoying another woman's breasts and on my wedding day!! My wedding day!! You know that I thank God that I did not make the mistake of marrying you that day because if I did… then I don't know what kind of hell I would be living right now.

At first she thought that he was shocked that she managed to get out of his tight hold but when she saw his line of vision she turned around to look at what shocked him only to find Amya looking at them wide eyed also with shock indicating that she had heard their conversation.
