The last thing Max remember is a vague screen that appeared before him that was flashing red, other than that, he doesn't remember much except his name and a few memories from here and there.
As for how did he arrive here? Or where did he come from? Age? Race?
All of these are things that Max doesn't remember.
Max currently found himself wandering through a hazy, dreamlike world, unsure of where he is or how he got there. The landscape shifts and changes around him, sometimes a dark forest, sometimes a bustling city, sometimes a barren wasteland.
As Max wanders, he feels a strange pull, as if he is being drawn towards something. He follows the pull until he finds himself standing before a shimmering portal, the air around it crackling with energy.
Seeing such a thing, naturally dumbfounded Max, after all, in his fragment memories there are no such things as portals and magic, so he is currently confused, but something is telling him to just enter because if he stayed here, he would miss something important.
Throwing away all of these thoughts, Max steps through the portal and finds himself in a strange room, filled with shadows and whispers. Max is unsure what the voices are saying, but he feels that he should follow with whatever the shadow is telling him to do.

Soon, Max finds himself in a dark chamber, illuminated only by the glow of a single golden coin on a pedestal in the center of the room. The coin is large and ornate, with intricate designs and symbols etched into its surface.
Max feels a strong desire to possess the coin, and he approaches it eagerly. As he reaches out to pick it up, he hears a voice that tells him that the coin holds the power to make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. The voice tells him that he can have the coin, but only if he is willing to give up everything he has in exchange.
Max hesitates. Although he has no memories and doesn't remember anyone. He just feels that the moment he takes this coin, he is going to lose someone important to him. But the desire to possess was too great for Max to bear, the moment he moved his hand to take the coin, a vague figure of someone appeared in his mind.
The figure just looked at him with sad eyes, and tears flowing from his/her eyes. Although Max doesn't know who this figure is, he at least knows that the moment he saw just the outline of the figure, he felt a tinge of pain in his chest, that made him forget about the desire to possess.
The moment his desires have been gotten rid of, the world around him cracked like a mirror, seeing this Max grew panicked as he doesn't know what is going on.
Suddenly, the voice speaks to him again. It tells him that he has been caught in a test of greed. Hearing this Max grew puzzled amidst his confusion because he doesn't remember joining any tests.
He tried to speak and question the voice, but he found himself unable to speak, and after a few more seconds, he appeared in a new place.

Max finds himself in a grand palace, filled with music and dancing. In front of him are countless beauties that have perfect naked bodies with different body shapes, most of them for his liking, and right now they are bare for his eyes to feast on. They are all giggling and dancing and tempting him with lust, wanting him to just step forward and ravish them.
Max at the moment felt a fire lit in his body, and a voice in his head kept urging him to just do what he wants, to just follow his desires and ravish those naked women.
Max right now doesn't know why he is here, or what was he doing before, but what he knows is that he must bounce on those women and ravish them to his heart's content. When Max was going to really lose control and follow his desires, a red light glowed softly in his soul, that red light managed to stabilize Max's condition and made him break out of his lust for those women.
The moment he regained consciousness, Max regained a lot of his memories and remembered who he is, and what he is doing there.
This should be a test by that black figure for the inheritance, but as for why the test has something to do with lust, Max doesn't know, but the moment he remembered his memorious managed to break free from this world filled with lust, but while the world is breaking, a golden-haired figured appeared in his mind for a few seconds before disappearing.
Max was stunned seeing this, but he just ignored it, thinking it was the test's effect.
At the moment, it is only darkness around Max, when he wondered if he passed and was going back, his memory got sealed again, and the red glow coming from his soul went out as if it was never there.

Max woke up from the darkness and found himself in a vast hall, surrounded by mirrors on all sides. As he walks forward, he sees his reflection multiplied hundreds of times, stretching off into infinity. In the center of the hall, there is a pedestal with a glowing orb atop it.
Max hears a voice that tells him that the orb holds the power to make him the greatest ruler the world has ever known. The voice tells him that to claim the power, he must look into the mirrors and see himself as the greatest of all beings, above all others, and deserving of worship.
The more Max looks at himself like that, the more his pride managed to grow. Max is tempted by the voice, and he approaches the pedestal. As he looks into the orb, he sees himself as a towering figure, feared and respected by all. He feels a rush of power and pride, and for a moment, he forgets all about the world outside the hall.
But then, he notices that the reflections in the mirrors are changing. He sees himself becoming more and more isolated, cut off from the world and the people he was meant to be close to, his family, and any new friends he would have made, all would leave him. He sees himself becoming arrogant and cruel, ruling with an iron fist and causing suffering wherever he goes.
As the images in the mirrors become more and more disturbing, Max realizes that the orb is nothing but an illusion, designed to test his pride.
After experiencing the illusion of being a king and seeing the illusion in the mirror. He now knows that there are two types of 'Pride', both good and bad pride. Good pride represents the dignity and self-respect one would have. Bad pride is a sin that reeks of superiority, conceit, and arrogance.
And Max even with no memories of knowing who he is, doesn't intend to become an arrogant, conceited person, who would let his pride rule him. He is the one who will control his pride.
In the end, Max walked away from the pedestal, breaking away from the illusion. He learned that pride is a dangerous temptation, one that can lead to destruction and despair if left unchecked
