Chapter 18 - Chapter 18, Class Choices

[Just say Class Selection and a new tab will appear in front of you]

"Okay, Class Selection"

Then a screen appeared before him with tons of information.

[Class Selection: Choose carefully from the following classes as the class you are going

to choose is going to become something permanent and it is going to affect the future

classes that the system will offer to the Host in the Future]

[Available Classes:

5-Divine Disciple

6-Shadow Apprentice

8-Sanguimancer

Please choose carefully, before proceeding]

"Ehm, Lena?"

[Yes?]

"Is there a way for me to view the information of each class or do I just choose blindly?"

[Just wish in your mind to view the information of the Class you want and it will appear in front of you]

"Sure," Max just nodded and followed what Lena told him, and just like he wished the information regarding the classes in front of him appeared in front of his eyes.

[Bloodline Novice: This class focuses on developing the user's bloodline abilities, granting them enhanced physical abilities and elemental powers.]

[Mana Initiate: This class focuses on learning the basics of Mana manipulation, allowing the user to cast simple spells and channel Mana into their physical attacks.]

Looking at the first two classes and their descriptions, I noticed that they are very simple classes for a beginner like me.

Thinking a little bit, I remember that there were in the past vampires that only focused on cultivating their bloodline, Although their path was a bit more challenging compared to the Mana class, the results they achieved were amazing.

But then again going for something simple or something that is already out there isn't a very nice idea, as that would be like wasting the gift that I just got which is the System.

And the two classes above could be cultivated by myself since Lena said that I got my talent back, and I am pretty sure that I am talented, so I will pass the first two classes.

Let's take a look at the next one.

[Arcane Neophyte: This class focuses on the study of arcane magic, giving the user the ability to cast spells that manipulate the elements, control creatures, and more.]

Looking at the description of this class, I found it a little interesting, although I found it interesting, it doesn't mean I will choose it.

After all, studying arcane magic and the ability to manipulate elements are good and all, but when one reaches Magus level which is the fourth level in Mana System, they will be able to interact with different elements, so having the ability to manipulate elements at an early age wouldn't be a very appealing idea.

Plus, I will have to study the elements closely and do a lot of experiments so even though I have a system and I don't doubt that the process will be faster, but I don't have much time, because I know that the moment I began to show that my talent is back and that I can cultivate again, the person who cursed me would take notice of that and would come to kill me in case I discovered the person who cursed me and decided to take revenge.

And I have an idea who the person is, but I leave it for later, as of now I can't take revenge with my current strength.

[Divine Disciple: This class focuses on tapping into the power of the divine, granting the user the ability to heal allies, smite enemies, and channel holy energy into their attacks.]

This is pretty much useless; how can the system expect me to use divine energy when I am a creature of the night?

That is a totally useless class to place here.

As sensing his thought, Lena decided to talk.

[This class will alter your body and bloodline so you can be able to use divine energy easily without reaching Demi-god level]

"And how can I walk around using Divine energy? People would kidnap me the moment I show divine energy at my level to experiment on me."

"After all how can a creature of the night use divine energy without dying at my level?"

"And I guess after choosing this class, it is going to make my future limited to make me reliant on the power of Faith like the Gods right?"

[Well, yes]

"I don't think that I have the power to go out and play God with this level of power," I said laughing while shaking my head at my words.

Of course, there was another alternative to this thing but Lena didn't explain it.

Seeing that Lena is silent and had nothing to add, Max focused again on the remaining Classes.

[Shadow Apprentice: This class focuses on harnessing the power of the shadow, granting the user the ability to cloak themselves in darkness, manipulate shadows, and strike from the shadows.]

This class interested Max greatly.

After all, who wouldn't dream of moving through the shadows silently, and striking your enemies from their shadows without their knowledge?

Of course, Max knew that such a thing is impossible for now.

But for the Future when he advances more on the road?

Who knows what might happen?

So Max kept this class in mind, as he scrolled to see the next class.

[Hybrid Battlemage: Users of this class have a unique combination of bloodline and Mana powers, allowing them to seamlessly switch between physical combat and spellcasting. They are able to use their bloodline powers to enhance their physical abilities and channel Mana into powerful spells]

Reading this class's description made Max's eye shine.

After all this class is perfect in every way. It is a hybrid class that managed to combine the first two classes the System offered at the beginning.

So Max was tempted to choose this class.

But he has a doubt so he asked Lena to clarify it before making any mistakes.

"Lena, in the class description, it doesn't say whether this class will unlock a new attribute in my status for the bloodline abilities like Magic or will I use mana to cast spells and bloodline abilities, and does it allow me to combine both abilities together?"

[No, with this class, you won't be able to combine both bloodline abilities with the Mana abilities, this class focuses on making the user strong physically by advancing your bloodline while using Mana to cast powerful spells that don't exceed your body limits]

[As for your bloodline abilities, they would be more focused on physical strengthening magic, not elemental ones]

"Well, that doesn't seem bad, it is definitely my top choice for now, but I guess I will find what I am looking for in the last class, after all, they say the best is always saved for last," I murmured to myself while rubbing both of my hands together in anticipation.

Looking at the description of the last class, I was surprised for a second then I began to get excited about where this class is going to take me in the future if I chose it.

I immediately focused my mind so as to not miss anything.
