Chapter 14 - Chapter 14, The Vampire Realm

Will finally felt himself free, just sighed at his disciple, and shook his head.

"Okay, we will see this subject for later," he said after sighing again as he understands his disciple's feeling the best and knew that he should overcome all of his fear to live a fulfilling life by doing all that was taken away from him and that is by taking his first step in a real relationship.

As he was going to be lost in thoughts regarding that, his disciple's voice brought him from his thinking.

"Master, just finish your business with the space crack, then you can lose yourself in thoughts," said Ava after noticing that her master is thinking deeply about something.

"Oh, right, I should finish this first."

Looking at the space that is stabilized, Will immediately threw away the glowing Reb orb in the space crack from his hand, and then he closed the crack with his power.

"Will that be okay?" asked Ava uncertainly.

"What?" I asked confused.

"The orb that you through, shouldn't it be better to go there yourself?"

"Eh, ah, don't worry, I attached a strand of that kid's soul signature and placed tons of defensive mechanisms on the orb so that the orb can arrive at its destination safely."

"Now leave me to my thoughts," I said after waving my hands at Ava.

Ava just pouted and left the room, as she knew she won't get an answer from her master like always.

As for the orb?

Hehe….

In the Vampire Realm

In the past, there were 8 Progenitors for the vampire race, they were born in different timelines, but each one of them was exceptional at something.

There should have been more than those 8, but it seems that they didn't want more competitors to appear in the same race and decrease their control over an entire race

So only 8 Progenitors remained in the past.

But even this didn't continue, as the vampire race in the past like many other races in the Universe got hit by an angry truck.

This angry truck is called The Devourer.

He devoured the 8 Progenitors while he was running around and venting his anger, and the vampire race at the time lost their 8 progenitors and a lot of their kin.

In the end, what remained across the eras of the original 8 Progenitors are the 8 Vampire Houses that are living right now in the Vampire Realm that is attached to Earth.

Does that mean that there are no other vampires other than those that are here in this realm?

Of course not there are a lot of them living on random planets in the Universe.

But when the races begin moving in the direction of Earth, each of the reaming Houses only took the last remaining pure-blooded descendants of the Progenitors, as The Devourer simply didn't swallow them all at the time.

And as time passed, while the 8 Vampire Houses remained strong enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with the other races, they were not at the same level as in the past.

That is also the same as the other races.

The only people who suffered less at the time were the Gods.

Although some societies were swallowed, a large number of them managed to stay secluded in their own dimensions at the time.

As Will at the time didn't bother with them.

Back to the 8 Houses that are currently residing in the Vampire realm.

Although each head of the houses wanted to reign supreme at the time, with the passage of time, it became increasingly clear that such a thing couldn't be achieved.

If they started fighting between themselves in the past, they would have allowed the other races to interfere and weaken them further.

But in the end, none of that mattered because as time passed, differences begin to appear in the strength between the Houses.

As for why?

The answer is pretty simple.

Because of Time.

Time?

Yes, Time.

As more time passed, the bloodline purity in some vampires of the 8 remaining houses got weaker and diluted as some of the descendants would sometime appear with weak talent or a weak bloodline.

Sometimes, there would be some of the outstanding heirs of those families would get assassinated during their youth.

And a myriad of other things, but it all comes back to the disappearance of the Original Progenitors.

Now, why do we come here?

Simple, because of our body Maxwell.

In one of the 8 main Houses of the vampire realm.

House Ashrend.

House Ashrend can be considered second in strength among the 8 main houses.

In the main building of the main house of House Ashrend, a meeting was occurring between two people.

One of them despite his young age, the weight of the world seemed to rest heavily on the shoulders of the tired-looking vampire sitting. His unkempt silver hair fell in messy tufts around his forehead, and his purple eyes, though still weary, now held a hint of energy.

Despite his tiredness, his face was strikingly handsome, with a straight, slightly upturned nose that gave him a youthful, boyish appearance. His skin was pale and flawless, cool to the touch, a testament to his vampiric nature.

Though the weariness and melancholy that surrounded him were palpable, there was still a glimmer of hope in his eyes, a reminder that he was a survivor who had weathered many storms over his long life.

Despite his vampiric abilities, he was the target of constant bullying due to his perceived weak talent. Yet, even in the face of this constant torment, he clung to the hope that tomorrow might be better, that one day he would be able to rise above the petty cruelty of others and find his place in the world.

He can stay clung to hope because of the person sitting in front of him showed him an immense amount of kindness and affection that made him persist so he can repay him one day.

In front of him,

A woman with beautiful white hair and purple eyes that radiate maternal warmth and wisdom. Her facial features are similar to the young vampire man, but her face exudes a powerful serenity instead of weariness. Her movements are graceful and calming, giving the impression that she has endured many challenges and emerged stronger from them. Despite her supernatural abilities, her most impressive quality is her unwavering love and protection for her son.

Max was sitting quietly while staring at the beautiful woman in front of him on the bed, he only knows that what she shows now on the surface is nothing but a cover, on the outside she looks perfectly healthy but from the inside, she is slowly dying even with the vampire superior regenerative ability, as for the reason for such a thing?

Even Max doesn't know, as she refuses to tell him the reason, and all he can do is worry about the woman sitting in front of him, as she is the only person who shows him some kindness in this cold house.

Her name is Amelia Ashrend, she is Max's mother.
