Daniel's eyes widened, and Aubrianne watched him curiously, fascinated. Is that how she looks when talking to her wolf? She wondered.
She realized he was a bit distracted when he did not respond to her.
Daniel was so taken aback that his mouth almost hung loose.
Cassius grew fond of Aubrianne as the days went by since she turned. Since he saw her wolf, he had spoken to Daniel, warning him a few times throughout, but that was more so for him than anything else.
He was trying his hardest to convince himself.
