Six pm was quickly approaching, and sadness was in the air. The sun was slowly disappearing on one side of the vast sky as the moon gradually rose on the other.
Every member of this community has been put through the wringer these past few days, some more so than others. First was the random attack in the middle of the night, where many lives were lost protecting the community. Some lost their mates, and some their sons, uncles, cousins, and daughters.
Then, the military shows up unexpectedly and invades their privacy at a time when they are in the middle of mourning the loss they suffered merely the night before.
This community was grief-stricken, and most felt hopeless. Alpha Zayne felt it in the air, and he felt it deeply in the bond.
