Chereads / MY LITTLE FAIRY LOVER / Chapter 6 - FIRST PARTY

Chapter 6 - FIRST PARTY

"The glue isn't dry yet." Ray said to the girl.

"Ohh....I see." the girl answered looking a little disappointed,"But you just have to be my date for the party....please...."

Okay.....so what on earth is a date? I nodded to get rid of her and she gave me the mating smile again. I smiled back at her and her smile just widened. I looked at Rose and noticed how she bestowed a death glare on the cat girl.

"So where is the party going to be?" Ray asked.

"Floor ten. There's a hall that has been rented out to our class at the end of the hallway. I'll be waiting for you hotty."

I felt her gaze on my crotch like she was running her hands on me and I felt a shiver run down my spine. I don't like her looking at me. I turned away from her and looked at Rose and Rilili who looked as if they were about to kill the cat girl.

"What about my friends?" I asked turning back to look at her.

"What about them?" she asked back.

"Going to the...party."

The word sounded foreign on my tongue but it had an alluring sound to it.

"I can only bring one guest....sorry guys." she said in an apologetic tone but it didn't sound sincere at all.

"Then can I bring my own guest?" I asked eyeing her.

Her expression turned sour then she smiled and said,

"Sure. But please don't bring people with no costumes."

She narrowed her eyes at my three friends to show that she was talking about them and I saw Ray roll his eyes at her.

"They have costumes so don't worry." I said just for the sake of speaking.

"Bye bye hottie." she whispered to me; I think.

"Bye." we all said at once at I smiled because of how my connection with my friends had already progressed.

The cat girl finally left and the others sighed loudly as if in relief. I copied them but I did it alone and in an awkwardly exaggerated way and I earned myself some glares and rolling eyes. I shut my mouth immediately and saw them all sit on the floor like they were all tired.

"What is wrong with you people?" I asked.

"You should know that teenagers on earth would ask that question like this; what's up guys?" Ray instructed me and I nodded,"Now ask us."

"What's up....guys?" I repeated hesitantly.

What on earth does 'guys' mean in my question? They smiled at me awkwardly and told me they had to get back to their rooms.

"What's up the party guys?" I asked trying to make the question as similar to how Ray had told me to ask the question before.

Their jaws dropped and their eyes widened when I finished my sentence. Did I say it wrong or something?

"Don't you ever! Say anything like that again!" they all exclaimed and I nodded vigorously.

"You should just stick to your own style of talking but call us guys okay. And we aren't going to the party because we have no costumes and your wings are gone too."

Gone? How did I not notice that my wings were gone? Not a problem though.

"I can use my magic to fix that." I said rubbing my hands together.

They looked at me apprehensively and then started walking away back to the stairs. I quietly followed them and started asking what was involved in a costume party. They answered my questions freely and soon I learned that the costumes were based on magical beings and creatures such as myself, people they referred to as super heroes and also things that people find scary or adorable.

"So what is a 'penny wise'?" I asked as we reached the tenth floor of the building.

"He's a spirit that feeds on the fear of people, children mostly, and eats them.....mostly." Rose said enthusiastically.

"Have you seen it?" I asked again wondering why it would be eating children.

"No." they all answered sighing.

"Can you show me what they look like? These monsters?" I asked making sure that I remembered the spell for transformation.

"Here.....oh wait hold on." Rilili said.

I watched her take out what she named as a 'phone' and she turned it on. She held it tightly in her hand while the other hands' fingers gently slapped it.

She turned it towards me and I saw some images there. It's like a mini TV without a remote. I picked out which ones I would make my friends resemble but instantly changed my mind because I want them to look beautiful. I really want to know what a party looks and feels like. Right now I can only say it is an assembly of bodies to do merry making. I extended my hands towards them and they became three characters I had seen on Rilili's phone. I made Rose a fairy like me, Ray an elf and Rilili a princess.

Ray was the one to lead us to the said reserved room where the party was being held. I had made my wings appear and held on to Rose because we looked like a couple.

"Will the wings disappear once we leave the party?" Rose asked me frowning.

"Yes, they aren't real so they will. Actually....they will fall off of you." I said smiling.

"I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts." Rose smiled at me and twirled around.

I had made her a traditional royal fairy's dress that was made in such a way that it's surface was like a petal but it moved freely. I chose a rose, obi. Her face was shinning brightly in the dim light and it made my heart feel like it was expanding in my chest. It was a warm feeling.

"Hey there hottie." I heard the cat girl's voice say from beside me.

I jolted away because she had surprised me and Rose looked equally surprised. I smiled awkwardly and waved at her. She looked at Rose in the red dress I had made her and she frowned.

"Where on earth did you guys find such exquisite costumes?" she whined,"I wannabe a fairy too!"

"You look fine as a cat." I said quickly and hopefully she will drop the issue.

She and Rose turned to look at me; Rose shocked and the cat girl looking aroused. Maybe I should have let her continue complaining.

"You really think so?" she said walking closer to me, her voice drenched in desire.

"No." I blurted taking a step away from her.

She halted in her footsteps and I saw Rose smile from the corner of my eye. Her face quickly contorted itself and she looked like all her blood had rushed to her face.

"No?!" she shouted and I saw everyone turn to look at us.

"Yo....Lit costume bro!" someone shouted from the crowd,"They almost look real!"

There was a cheer of agreement from the crowd and I saw how the cat girl's face darkened at their response.

"Woah! Did he just reject Jessy?!" someone else shouted and I saw it was a boy wearing something that was supposed to resemble a goblin.

The crowd cheered again and then the boys started barking to insult Jessy. She hit my chest in frustration and run away crying. The cheering continued and I could see that the ones who were happier were the girls.

"Can I touch your wings?" a short dark haired boy asked eyeing my wings with wonder,"Did you use epoxy resin for them?"

"Yes I did." I responded without even knowing what epoxy resin was.

"Awwww...be even made wings for his girlfriend!" a girl with a very high pitched voice pointed out.

There was another cheer from the crowd and I saw how Rose blushed looking down.

"Let's play truth or dare!" someone screamed from the back and I can't tell if it is a male or female.

Everyone agreed and they sat down in a circle while someone stopped the music. Truth or dare? What is that?

"It's a game where you have to chose one of the options. If you pick truth you'll have to answer truthfully and if you pick dare you do what they want no matter what." Rilili whispered startling me.

I nodded and she went to sit with the others. I joined them as well and the dark haired boy who wanted to touch my wings came to squeeze himself next to me.

"So the rules are that if we have two successive rounds of truth the third person won't have a choice but to pick dare. And you can only ask the person opposite you and they'll ask you back. Got it?" said an older looking man who I assume is the host of the party.

We all nodded and waited for him to start and it is then that I noticed I am the one sitting opposite him. He looked at me calmly and smiled. I don't know what he is dressed as but I don't think it matters.

"Truth or dare?" I asked him before he could say anything.
