Chereads / MY LITTLE FAIRY LOVER / Chapter 7 - TRUTH OR DARE

Chapter 7 - TRUTH OR DARE

"Truth." he answered quickly.

What can I ask a man I don't know? I squinted my eyes to make it look like I was thinking about what to ask him when in the actual sense I had nothing in mind and I don't plan to have anything in mind either. There is one question that I'm certain will make him uncomfortable though.

"What body parts do you like on women?" I asked remembering a time when my father had asked me that while looking for someone for me to tie my soul to.

There was a humming of approval from the crowd as the man's eyes widened in shock. I smiled feeling like a villain in this stranger's story.

"How dare you ask me that in front of my students!" he suddenly yelled only to have the others laugh.

He looked so embarrassed and his cheeks were a bright red. He tried to make them keep quiet but they kept on laughing. He finally cleared his throat and took in a deep breath as the room fell silent.

"She should have....a nice round bottom...."

"Does anything good come from there?" I asked him and everyone laughed.

"Let me finish! Yes... bottom and large boobs enough to fill my hand and they should even overflow....." he continued.

Boobs? What is....no...what are they? He said it in a plural form so it must be a pair of things. But a woman's body has many paired things so how will I know what he is talking about. People were cheering for him and I am sure whatever boobs are most males agree with this man.

"Are you answering my question?" I asked realizing that he was diverting from my question.

"What?" he asked surprised and a deep silence fell again.

"I asked you what body parts you like and not how you like them." I clarified.

There was a round of collective laughter that I didn't bother to join while the man glared at me.

"I'll save the last question for you!" he exclaimed angry and I nodded to him with a smile that seemed to only irk him further.

The next pair did their round where both of them picked dare. I hope I won't have to pick dare because people choose two rounds of truth. When it was Ray and Rilili's turn they looked at each other with devilish smiles.

"Truth or dare?" Rilili asked Ray.

"Dare." Ray said and I could tell from the tone of his voice that he was feeling confident.

"I dare you to kiss Penelope." Rilili said.

Penelope? Pen. Rilili called my Rose Pen which might be short for Penelope. Ray's eyes trailed to Rose confirming that she was Penelope. People started clapping to encourage the two of them to kiss and I felt my wings twitch. Ray got up from where he was sitting and made his way towards Rose who looked paler than a corpse. I closed my eyes when he kissed her and they remained that way for a while.

"Fairy dude looks upset." I heard someone say in a tone that was filled with ridicule.

I can feel people's eyes on me and I know a pair of those eyes are Rose's. I opened my eyes and smiled awkwardly.

"I'm not upset. I just think kissing disgusting."

"Why so?" the man opposite me asked with a raised brow.

I think he doesn't like me much so I don't like him either.

"It brings bad memories." I said still smiling,"Disturbing memories."

"What kind?" he continued asking.

"Are you using your round?" I asked him and he glared at me before dropping the question.

My eyes strayed to Rose without my permission and I caught her staring at me. She looked away as if she was feeling shy and I saw how moist her lips looked and thought about just how passionately Ray had kissed her. My wing twitched again and I looked away from her.

"Truth or dare Riley?" Ray asked.

So Ray decided to shorten Rilili to Rili?

"Definitely truth." she answered.

"By any chance do you like Dee?" Ray asked her and she turned pink.

"We just met today so how can she like me?" I asked him.

"Love at first sight, bro." a curly haired girl in a costume similar to Jessi's said.

"Infatuation you mean." I said quickly while I looked at Rilili who seemed a little disappointed.

"Now to answer your question I don't like Dee." Rilili said quickly collecting herself.

There was a momentary silence that turned the whole atmosphere dense and awkward. The next pair quickly continued the game but I wasn't paying attention anymore. I didn't even realized when it was my turn but my nemesis' voice brought me back to reality.

"Truth or dare Dee?" he asked.

"Truth." I said absentmindedly.

"But we just had two rounds of truth darling."

"Then why ask." this time I was slightly annoyed.

"Because I noticed you seemed like you were elsewhere and it seems I was right."

My annoyance went down a little bit after seeing the foolish look of triumph hidden in his smile.

"I dare you to answer one question from everyone present here." he said and I heard how everyone started whispering about what to ask me.

"I'll start." he said,"What are your full names?"

"Vermont Delsaloriota." I answered.

"Do you have a girlfriend or anyone you have feelings for?" the girl next to him asked with a peculiar sparkle in her clear ocean blue eyes.

"I had a fiancee whom I loved." I said frowning.

"What happened to her?" someone else asked.

"She was....crushed by a boulder...." I answered remembering the day my would be wife had sacrificed herself for me.

There was a collective gasp from the people around and I looked down only to feel the boy who had requested to touch my wings pat me on the back; close to my wing. She wasn't a fairy but an elf who had no magic whatsoever. I loved her but it has been over seven years since she died and the void she left in my heart has healed.

"Sorry if I asked the wrong question." I heard the boy who had asked me what happened to my fiancee say apologetically.

"There is no wrong question...just wrong timing." I said without raising my head.

He nodded and another silence fell before the next person asked,

"How old are you?"

I nearly blurted out twenty-seven but I stopped myself quickly. I need to say something normal otherwise I might just end up revealing who I truly am.

"Eighteen." I said smiling as I had now lifted my head.

"Why on earth would you be engaged at such a young age?!" someone shouted.

"Why not on earth wouldn't I be?" I asked back and some people laughed while some smiled.

"Are you a virgin?" a sly looking girl in a fox costume asked.

Her costume suits her very well.

"Yes." I answered.

"Really?!" came the chorus question from a group of boys.

"Yes. And you guys just wasted your questions." I laughed.

"That wasn't my question I was just in shock!" one of them exclaimed.

"Not my problem." I said calmly with a smile.

"You should be careful with your questions guys otherwise he will use your stupidity against you." my nemesis said in a warning tone as he looked at the people in the circle.

"When do you plan on losing your virginity?" asked Rilili and I started feeling uncomfortable again; not because of her question to me but the question she had hesitated to answer.

"Can that be planned?" I answered with a question and a tight smile.

"Then what's your preferred time?" she asked again.

"You only get one question." I reminded her and she frowned.

"I'll use my question to ask what she asked." said the girl who sat next to Rilili.

"When I find someone who can generate my hormones in that way." I said smiling brightly as my brain flooded with thoughts of Rose.

The boys in the room made noise like wild animals in cheer and I saw how Rilili's face fell and her eyes became downcast.

"Hey elf girl don't feel bad because he doesn't find you attractive. He'll come around." whispered a boy to Rilili encouragingly and she turned pink instantly.

Does she really like me? Well then, in that case I will have to follow my late cousin's advice when it comes to 'dealing with a girl who has unreciprocated feelings for you'; I'll have to break her heart until she sees me as no more than a waste of air. Rilili seems too fragile for that though. Our females are tough minded and are good at dealing with matters of the heart; better than the males.

"What type of girl makes your hormones....be generated in that way then?"

"The type that.....that compliments me." I said.

"I think you are attractive." a girl suddenly said,"Do I qualify now?"

"No." I quickly answered,"And I didn't mean that type of compliment. It's like....like complimentary colors... bringing out the beat in each other."

She nodded in embarrassment while I heard a few giggles from the other girls.

"Are you the one who saved the Minister's daughter?" the boy sitting next to me asked excitedly.

"Yes." I answered only to receive a round of applause from everyone.

"How did you know she was there?" another boy asked.

"I heard her crying."

"But the rooms are sound proof."

Sound proof? I have no idea what that means so I think I'm just going to smile.

"She must have been screaming like a whale or something." Ray said thoughtfully.
