Chapter 40 - Questions.

Nu was unable to react to whatever was happening when she suddenly felt a pair of soft lips upon hers in an instant, which then began to suck on her lips as hers own did the same without even realizing what she was doing.

Soon a sweet, addictive taste dyed her mouth and her mind blanked, seemingly slipping away from reality, gradually.

An abrupt jolt of warmth spread across her body when she felt a small, warm tongue assault hers, it was then that her mind cleared up and she pushed back the [Damned] that had pounced on her abruptly.

"Mhmnpha!! Haaa.....haaa....haaa...." Hot breaths escaped Nu's slightly opened mouth as her hazy eyes cleared up. Unbeknownst to Nu herself, she had let out a series of soft moans as she had lost her mind after a split moment.

Nu then heard an alluring hum, of course, it was Zilla's, who was licking her lips with a intoxicated look on her face, just as Nu was about to curse at her, the bright world around her dispersed, and soon, Ivan's charming face appeared to sight.

'Ah.... His Majesty~' Nu moaned inwardly as her gaze turned hazy again.

SNAP-!

With a snap of Ivan's, no, His Majesty's fingers, Nu snapped out of her trance as her eyes cleared up and noticed that her skin had turned scaly that could be dangerous for His Majesty if others, insignificant scums, noticed, so she controlled her body and reverted back to her human-like appearance. Her stereotypical business woman clothes, that she had adorned herself in, due to His Majesty's command, had dishevelled by Zilla's abrupt assault also turned tidy as a thin layer of her powers slid all-over her hourglass figure softly.

'Wha....' Just as Nu was about to question herself at the abrupt surge of lust that assaulted her.

TAK-!

"Eee...." She heard the same alluring hum again, but this time instead of enticing the emotions that she had hidden within, it sounded like a complaining hum.

She raised her head and noticed that Ivan had finger flicked Zilla's forehead, which garnered him a small pout from her. After a few strange signs used to speak with Zilla, Ivan turned to face Nu, who stiffened thinking that he was most probably disappointed upon witnessing her shameful actions.

"I apologize Nu, seems like your emotions managed to incite her hunger a bit too much." Ivan said in a apologetic tone that sent a cold shiver down Nu's spine.

"No!" Without intending to, Nu exclaimed loudly, garnering the attention of many, that turned away after a few seconds with confused expressions marring their faces.

"I apologize, Your Majesty." Nu apologized for exclaiming out loud.

"I apologize for showing such a shameful side of myself, Your Majesty...." Nu muttered as she bowed her head. She had never seen Ivan apologize to anybody, but she had heard of rumours that he would apologise if he thought he was fault, and he was hardly ever at fault so it was like a miracle that even only one rumour existed on him ever being wrong. She, back in the castle, had heard a maid say that she had seen Ivan apologize to Her Majesty the Queen, an Empress, or a sovereign that had won over His Majesty. But, she had never once witnessed Ivan apologizing nor did she want to, in her eyes, Ivan was a perfect being, so she didn't like it when he thought he was in the wrong.

'It is all because of this [Damned] bitch!' Nu glared at Zilla, as killing intent began to seep out of her body, unconsciously, her grey-hair began to turn mint green.

SNAP-!

With another snap of his fingers, Ivan brought back her attention back upon himself as Nu's presence itself ceased to exist.

"You shall be mindful, Nu." Ivan said, coldly, as Nu's body shuddered in response.

"I, I apologise, Your Majesty....." Nu muttered as she lowered her head.

"Enough. Haaaa....." Ivan said with a sigh as if discarding the coldness in his tone.

And,

In a swift, elegantly smooth moment, Nu stood back up with a spin, her right palm tensed with her nails slightly elongated, aimed at a neck of somebody that dared to even approach them, followed by Zilla, who stretched her hand out and held a neck of somebody.

"What might have been your intention on intruding others' private conversation, Sir Velor?"

"Do note that, if you do not have an appropriate justification, you shall be executed on spot." Ivan casually muttered.

'H-He isn't joking....' Velor----whose neck was clenched by a strong grip of an alluring dark skinned woman, while another fair skinned woman's palm was ready to behead him at any given moment----understood upon gazing at the back of a man, who sat unfazed.

"Kcuhak...." The grip around his neck tightened as if to chock him to death, reason behind which was the gap, he involuntarily took instead of answering the green-eyed man the very instance a question left his mouth. The silence extended only because he was too shocked to process what was going on.

"Zilla...." With a soft mutter, the green-eyed man had seemingly commanded the dark skinned woman to halt gripping on his neck.

"Uckha!" But, that didn't mean that the grip had loosened, in that instance, Velor was slightly flustered and horribly scared as he gazed to the sides and noticed that the world around him had turned white.

'The knights are safe....' He thought at the very instance he understood he was about to die, his eyes lost focus, his vision clouded and drool began to stream out of his mouth, and just when he was about to lose consciousness,

"Zilla." The green-eyed man muttered again and, this time, the grip of the woman named Zilla loosened as she retracted her arm, but her could gaze never wandered away from Velor's figure.

"Cough, cough, cough!!" Velor coughed out loud as he gasped for air.

He had erased his presence and had approached them upon noticing that the dark skinned woman's and the fair skinned woman's figures had been obstructing their visions, which soon cleared as a conversation seemed to have started among the man and the fair skinned woman.

Though his knights order members' minds were rendered with, he, who had a strong [Will Power], got curious about what going on.

He thought it was his cue and approached them to learn a few things about them and use that information to bring them into his knight order, but never in his wildest dreams had ever thought he would have been caught by people whom he thought were still wet behind their ears.

But, he understood that it wasn't them that were still wet behind their ears, it was him.

He also reminded of the fact that the world was still extremely vast.

He had thought that there was nothing more to see after he saw people killing other people purely out of their immeasurable greed, but only now did he understand that he was still too naive.

"Huckh....huk... Cough...." Velor coughed as he caught his breath and gazed up at the fair skinned woman, while holding his knees. His gaze trembled violently when his mind finally registered that he got his ass handed back to him by people, who had yet to learn anything about the worlds they had walked over to. He raised his head and noticed that the fair skinned woman still had her arm aimed to behead him and shuddered, but didn't back down.

"I, I wanted to ask if you would like to join our Silver Knights Order after you reached [Intermediate] rank." Velor justified his actions, but was only met with silence as a strange ambience bore down on him.

"You have half a minute." The green-eyed man's cold voice sounded.

"!!!"

Shuddering, "I noticed the obstructing spell, and got curious, and then the spell soon dissipated and a conversation started between....you(?) and this, fair skinned woman here, I wanted to gather some information and ask you to join our Silver Knights Order with that information." Velor revealed the exact truth behind his actions in horror and understanding that his measly and insignificantly dumb intentions could cause his death; he involuntarily minded his words to be as polite as possible when he said "you," however, since the words he voiced couldn't and didn't sound how he wanted them to, he decided it would be better to continue on.

"You don't seem to be lying."

'Obviously!!! Why would I lie when my life's one the line for something so insignificant!!!'

"Explain, no, give me information about this world, about the "rank" you had mentioned previously, and what is name of the power which you people have segregated into [Aura] and [Magic Power]; what is the [Worlds Academy] you spoke of; what is a [Graduate]; difference between the system's level up and the rank up of your cores; what races exist in this world, and at what level can the magic users and the aura users influence this world, and what is the difference between them? Everything, if you satiate my curiosity with the information you hold, I'll let you live...." The green-eyed man, no, devil asked. Although he, Velor, didn't like the drag when the devil said it would let him live, it didn't seem like he had any other choice if he wanted to live.

Since the questions he was asked were something the devil would have learnt on his own if he spent a few days in the world, and answering those questions didn't go against his knighted oath, he didn't mind too much to answer those questions, of course, he should answer those questions if he wanted to keep his mind from being split apart, in a literal sense.

With a loud, audible gulp, Velor opened his mouth.
