Four-Leaf mountains and a hidden village. For years, Narr Kingdom has secured these mountains and villages within it.
Long before any kingdom was established Narr was divided yet together under one village but after the yellow waves descended into the universe, the village became barren and it became a historic destination now. It serves as a border between Windlands and Narr Kingdom.
The first mountain is called Guardian Narr, the tallest of all four and barren as well. One person was standing there! There at the top peek of the mountain measuring the other Guardian mountains. The cape was covering the person whole. The wind was quiet and thin and the yellow start was in the middle of the sky as hot as it can get.
"The barrier has been breached, Master." a young lad spoke as soon as he reached the peak, gasping for air, exhausted.
"you need more training." The person in the cape spoke while focused on the last guardian mountain.
"Master, I have more to report" he spoke while recovering his breathing.
"No need, I can guess. Two individuals, beast-like footing. They broke your first barrier but their moves are really fast, in two days they will be here while it took five days for us to be here." Master guessed right as the pupil was silent for a while.
"beasts...? Why don't we just send our beast!" the pupil was smiling softly as he finished his statement.
Suddenly, the earth below started to rumble, it cracked and pieces of broken stones rose in the air. "Damn it, she was here!" the pupil looked troubled.
"you should have watched your mouth, you weakling" an annoyed voice echoed through the mountains.
The pupil joined his hands upward palm to palm as his cape fell, a round shield came out from the back of his armor, it gave a rose-like glow and disappeared at the same time, the air became heavy and the rocks started to give a faint glow of the same kind.
"I am the stars and I am the universe! Oh, yellow star of life, let me radiate your light and be the flame itself!" two voices at the same time matched the chant. The atmosphere went normal, it almost became null and it went off. The stones stormed like asteroids toward the ground.
"Crimson shield of fire" the pupil released the stance and an energy field shielded the master and pupil. As he shielded the attack it gave birth to a dust cloud.
"Alright, I knew that was not enough to break your shield" in a blink of an eye the cloud was split into two by a flash, finally the attacker came out herself and landed a first blow at the shield cracking it.
"huh, finally my shield is stronger than your fists." the pupil was proudly smiling. "you lost, Lee..." and in the next moment he hit the ground, hands wrapped around his abdomen, gasping for oxygen. The second fist went right through the shield.
"damn it, Leena!" the pupil barely finished the sentence while getting on his feet.
Leena walked toward the pupil rested her hand on his shoulder and proudly said, "Sol, my little snotty brother, you could never beat my flame control enchantment."
"Sure, but I am not your brother, you musclehead!" Sol removed her hand from his shoulder and turned his back.
"My mother has been kind to you all this time and supported you every single time. She may be your master but she has been like your mother and so in that regard, you should respect me like your older sister." Leena looked a bit upset as she spoke the words.
"don't use Master Aya for your spite." Sol turned to face Leena as he countered her.
"You dare not listen to me, you snake!" Leena was mad, again.
Sol was an orphan living at the temple of yellow star in the black alley of Narr kingdom.
Black ally was the place for abandoned things to find their homes and Sol was one of them.
Sol was found abandoned and when he was found, his third soul core was sucked to conceal the identity of the mother.
At the age of eight, he was again abandoned by his adopted mother and started working at the bar then started living at the temple where he learned about the kingdoms and the world.
In one incident, in which he tried, died, and was reborn. Aya, the wind left a single message to an orphan and a year later that orphan come to prove himself. Despite being rejected he kept trying for three until Aya herself declared that she has found her first and last disciple.
As Sol tried, Leena was trying to be her mother's pupil ever since she knew the meaning of it. For her to not succeed and be outdone by Sol was embarrassing. She felt as if her mother's affection was stolen from her. So, Leena and Sol have always been more like rivals.
"ever since you came, my mother has shifted her attention, and affection to you. I hate it." words came out of anger at Sol, without Leena even realizing it herself.
Sol's face went blank, " that may be but, she is still your mother, not mine. I forever wished to be the son of a wonderful woman like your mother but in reality, no matter how you see it, she is only your mother."
"that does it. You're dead this time" Leena was beyond angry, she released all her powers, and the air went red around her, even the water drops from her eyes turned to steam, but sol didn't even move an inch. Leena's words were more than enough to paralyze him.
Leena gathered all the energy in her dominant arm making a big gauntlet of energy, a crimson-red glow, and a swoosh she advanced toward Sol with a straight right but it got blocked by the same technique as Sol's.
"you won't break through!" Aya had finished analyzing the breakthrough of the four mountain guardians in time.
"Ma! Must you defend him all the time?" Leena said with a piercing gaze.
"Both of you will die in the next two days if you are bickering like this all the time. I don't have time for child education lessons these days, although you both are too stubborn for that to change anything." Aya walked between both facing Sol while giving the lecture.
"I guess we will have to make do with what you have got now." Aya's eyebrows stretched downward reading the look Sol had on his face.
Sol looked up at Aya as he felt the gaze of his master and a slap woke him up from the deep thoughts of guilt he felt from Leen's words.
"I don't need you to feed into your negative emotions and be a practice dummy for the enemy on a battlefield, if you don't disobey during this mission you are dismissed as my student." Aya looked stern as she educated her pupil.
Sol suddenly got back his senses and kneel to his master and vowed, "I, Sol Templeton may burn to ashes then disobey the master he respects the most in the entire universe."
After being satisfied with the determination of his pupil Aya moved toward Leena and drew a map in the air in front of her.
"This is the map of the Four-Leaf mountains. We are to split into two teams, one team will trap the tag team of beasts and one team will have to save the villages from the aftereffects of dry blizzards." Aya finished the short version of his plan as both became focused on the map.
"Mamon and Sareena..."
"Master, two teams means I have to team up with Leena, right? While..., you go on alone, I can't do that." Sol was determined in his request.
Leena stood up to Sol and exchange a stern look before she said, "We have to team up and go to villages to check on the decayed ones. And can you even hold your shield straight before the beast-duo of Mamon and Sareena?"
Sol had agreed with Leena as he knew that she was right.
"Alright!, Leena will be in command. Your mission is to check on villagers and drove the decayed to frost lands, I will release them once I am finished with beast-duo. But under no circumstances you are to engage with them." Aya had given her last instructions.
Leena and Sol are headed to downhill villages between the first and second mountains and Aya went stayed at the top of the first mountain waiting for the hunters to be trapped in the prey's trap.
"dry blizzards dry the soul energy from everything they pass through however from those some survive to be divine and hellish or even ordinary, never let your guard down. And remember that even valor is shown at the right time. Never make decisions on emotions." Aya's words were going through Sol's mind as he and Leena went to the first-leaf village.
