Chapter 10 - Why Are You Staring At Me?

Ding!

A new WeChat message came in.

Mu Wanwan opened WeChat and saw a familiar profile picture.

"W, the person in charge of the B50 laboratory has invited you to the academic conference that will take place in seven days. Do you want to come?"

This message was posted by a friend she met on an online forum.

B50 was the top computer firewall design laboratory in the country where the top computer talents in the country gathered.

Mu Wanwan had a wide range of hobbies from computers to writing stories and lyrics and studying traditional Chinese medicine and skincare. Every hobby of hers was developing very well. Furthermore, she had some small achievements in all the industries she liked.

Bo Sihan knew about her small achievements. As long as she didn't make a big fuss, he didn't care. He liked to hide her at home and didn't want her to be too high-profile, but what could he do?

In this lifetime, she did not want to hide it anymore.

She wanted to stand by Bo Sihan's side and be a partner who could stand shoulder to shoulder with him. She didn't want to be known as a trophy anymore.

After three minutes of consideration, Mu Wanwan replied to her friend with an "OK" gesture.

Bo Sihan probably wouldn't want her to reveal her face at the social gathering, so she had to choose another way to attend it in a low-key manner.

After taking a shower, Mu Wanwan walked out of the bathroom and found that someone was already sitting on her bed.

Bo Sihan was wearing a simple white cotton T-shirt and black pants. He looked much more reserved.

When he heard movement, he looked up at Mu Wanwan, and a light flashed across his long and dark eyes.

Mu Wanwan was wearing a pair of pink Peppa Pig pajamas and shorts. Her exposed legs were long, straight, and fair. Her hair was dripping with water.

"Come here, I'll help you dry your hair," Bo Sihan said.

Mu Wanwan took a dry towel and sat down in front of him.

Bo Sihan took the towel from her.

She sat there stiffly, not daring to move. It had been a long time since she and Bo Sihan had gotten along so peacefully. Bo Sihan's ruthless image had been deeply ingrained in her heart, so she was still a little afraid of him.

When she looked at Bo Sihan's cold face, she wondered if he would rudely pull her hair out.

Bo Sihan saw Mu Wanwan staring at him. His thin lips moved slightly and he spat out, "Why are you staring at me?"

Mu Wanwan felt the weight of the towel on her head. His movements were unexpectedly gentle.

Her emotions also relaxed. She smiled and said, "You are very good-looking."

Bo Sihan paused. This was the second time Mu Wanwan had said something nice to him today. The girl's soft and sweet voice was like cotton candy. His heart softened.

"If you want to go to school tomorrow, get Uncle Chen to send you there." A faint voice sounded above Mu Wanwan's head.

Mu Wanwan was stunned at first, then she raised her eyes and looked at him in a daze.

Bo Sihan raised his eyebrows. "Why? Haven't you stayed at home enough?"

Some time ago, Mu Wanwan had caused quite a ruckus. She had been thinking of ways to go against Bo Sihan every day and couldn't even attend school properly. She had been trying her best to escape from him and elope with Bo Yunze.

So, Bo Sihan helped her apply for leave and forbade her from going to school. He told her to stay at home obediently.

This also forced Mu Wanwan to listen to Mu Ruo and play tricks at the birthday party. She wanted to use the birthday party to publicize her relationship with Bo Yunze and force Bo Sihan to let go.

Mu Wanwan recalled listening to Mu Ruo unconditionally before and felt that there was something wrong with the way she thought.
