The News Bird flew to the four blues and the Grand Line, bringing Ron's new bounty.
In the East Blue, a young man with a straw hat looked at the bounty in his hand and said solemnly "The bounty of a billion Beli is high, but I will not give up. Sister Makino, wait for me. I'll come to save you!"
Beside him, a teenager with three swords on his hip said indifferently: "Luffy, there's a small island ahead. Should we dock?"
"With limited supplies on the ship, of course, we must dock to replenish them! By the way, what island is this?" Luffy asked.
"I don't know the name of the island, but the village there is called Syrup village!" Sauron replied.
In the Grand Line, Alabasta, King Cobra looked at the wanted poster in his hand, and the corners of his mouth twitched "Vivi is following him. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Boy, don't let Vivi get hurt!"
At the Twin Capes, the old man at the lighthouse looked at the newspaper in his hand and was silent for a long time before saying to himself: "This kid shouldn't be underestimated. Could he be the next pirate king?"
On a small island, Blackbeard looked at the newspaper in his hand, anger evident on his face "This guy! I'll kill him sooner or later! But until then, Ace, you're my target!"
In the other seas, as well as among the Four Emperors, Ron's new bounty was received with various reactions—some intrigued, some dismissive, and some envious.
Speaking of envy and jealousy, it naturally extended to ordinary pirate crews. They were jealous of Ron's rising fame.
"This guy he killed turns out to be a vice admiral at the Navy Headquarters!?"
"Indeed, he dares to do such things!"
"I bet he'll die sooner or later. He dares to kill a Vice Admiral from the Navy Headquarters. The Navy won't let him off easily!"
"Let's just wait and see how this unfolds!"
At the Navy Headquarters, a fleet of thirty ships set out, accompanied by admirals Kizaru and Aokiji, with the target being Ron.
"Hey, Aokiji, it's rare that we're partners on this!" Kizaru said leisurely.
"Alas, I was hoping for some rest, but duty calls!" Aokiji replied helplessly.
"Do you think this guy will be difficult to deal with?" Kizaru raised an eyebrow.
"Difficult? Most likely so. If he were easy to deal with, we wouldn't be going after him together," Aokiji replied.
"True!" Kizaru nodded. "But with both of us working together, even if he's powerful, he won't escape us!"
"Let's hope so," Aokiji said silently.
...
Nami grabbed a newspaper from the News Bird, looked at it, and rushed to Ron's side. She found Ron leisurely enjoying Kaya's leg massage and couldn't help but exclaim, "You're still in the mood to enjoy a massage? Look at this!" She shoved the newspaper into Ron's hand. "Your bounty is a billion Bellies! my God, I feel like tying you up and collecting the reward myself!"
"What's the panic about?" Ron lazily took the newspaper, glanced at it, and tossed it onto the table. "A billion? Okay, that's fitting for my status. I'm satisfied!"
"God damn it!" Nami rubbed her hand to her forehead, looking defeated. "Don't you realize how many bounty hunters a bounty like that will attract? We're going to be in trouble!"
"So what?" Ron still didn't seem concerned. "This isn't a problem. We'll manage!"
"Your confidence knows no bounds!" Nami shook her head in disbelief. "I've never seen you earning money either!"
"Well... If worse comes to worst, we can always find a notorious pirate group. We'd have money if we robbed them," Ron said, considering his options seriously.
"So, that's your plan for making money!" Nami shrugged, feeling helpless.
"Oh, Nami, don't be mad!" Vivi intervened, smiling kindly. "Ron's right. With our pirate crew's strength, we can easily take down some villainous pirates and earn some money. Think of it as doing a good deed and getting paid for it. Isn't that great?"
"Well, you both have a point," Nami conceded weakly. She walked into the cabin, reluctantly retrieved a chest of money, and distributed the contents inside it to everyone, visibly pained to part with it.
As she watched the girls happily collect their shares and prepare to go ashore, Nami sighed, looking at the now empty treasure chest. She felt like crying—what else could she do with such a captain?
