On Jaya Island, in a restaurant, Ron and the group of girls sat around a large table, while the waiter watched in horror as Ron ate and drank voraciously.
Nami wore the same expression as the waiter, watching Ron eat and drink with concern. She took a deep breath and said, "Ron, my dear captain, didn't you promise to eat less on the ship just now?"
Ron looked at Nami wordlessly. "Dear Nami, can you really watch me go hungry?"
"Kaya, can his stomach ever be filled?" Nami's lips twitched.
"I'm afraid not!" Kaya pondered seriously.
"Then why say it?" Nami retorted angrily, her stern expression causing unease among the group, including Ron.
"Oh, Sister Nami, just let Ron eat as much as he wants!" Kaya hastened to intervene.
"Brother Ron, this is for you!" Apis offered Ron a large piece of meat in exchange for his praise.
After dinner, the group dispersed to find a place to rest, and the day came to an end.
The next day, the girls went out shopping, leaving Ron behind.
"Everyone's gone?" Ron looked at the girls' departing figures and felt a twinge of loneliness.
However, upon reflection, there was a reason he'd been left behind!
Recalling the exhausting experience of accompanying them shopping before, Ron immediately feigned illness upon hearing of their plans, claiming he was too unwell to go out and hid in the hotel.
Now that the girls were gone, Ron wandered out of the hotel, intending to explore and inquire about the route to Sky Island.
Sky Island was located above Jaya Island. In the original story, Luffy and the others rode a water current from the ocean floor to Sky Island. Without the ability to fly, Ron had to resort to this method.
The only issue was that he didn't know the sea current's location!
Ron walked to the island's edge, mentally calculating the approximate location of Sky Island and estimating the sea current's whereabouts on the seabed.
Arriving at the shore, he surveyed the ocean and speculated that the underwater current capable of lifting ships into the sky lay ahead. (T/N: Maybe observation haki)
Satisfied with his deductions, Ron prepared to depart.
Suddenly, a man approached, he was an imposing figure with a peculiar onion-like hairstyle.
Seeing him, Ron couldn't help but think of the character Luffy encountered in the original story. It seemed this was the same person. Legend had it that his ancestor attempted to find the city of gold but was beheaded by the king when he failed. Ron preferred to avoid any interaction and turned away.
The man observed Ron's departure, scratching his head in curiosity, and said nothing.
Ron returned to the hotel, but the girls hadn't come back.
"These women have no idea how long they take shopping. Even one or two of them would take forever. With this many, they probably won't be back before noon!" Ron thought, feeling bored.
Just then, Apis's voice sounded in his mind "Brother Ron, come save us! We're being bullied by some people here!"
"Huh? Apis!" Ron's expression shifted, knowing this was Apis's ability to telepathically communicate after awakening her Devil Fruit. "What's happening?"
Ron wasn't too concerned; among the girls were Tashigi and Vivi, both of whom he'd trained to maximum combat proficiency. The attackers likely underestimated them.
"We encountered a group of pirates. They approached us, and one of them got kicked in the balls by Nami, angering them. Now they're threatening Marianne and Kaya with knives!" Apis explained urgently.
"I see. Don't worry, I'm on my way. tell me your location!" Ron's brow furrowed as he internally condemned the pirates to a death sentence. No one should dare to harm his crew.
Guided by Apis, Ron sprinted through the streets to the scene of the commotion—a bustling commercial street with two groups facing off, surrounded by onlookers.
A group of burly men armed with weapons encircled a group of young, beautiful girls, laughing menacingly.
Two men with large knives held Marianne and Kaya hostage, warning Vivi and Tashigi not to intervene.
"Back off or these two die! You've heard of the Sea Ghost Pirates, right?" one threatened.
"You damn scum!" Apis shouted. "Just wait until Brother Ron gets here!"
"Apis, did you call for Ron?" Makino's eyes lit up with hope.
"Yes, he's almost here!" Apis nodded. "I'm going to teach them a lesson for daring to bully us and threaten our friends!"
"Just wait until he arrives!"
Nami breathed a sigh of relief, her gaze fixed on the men across from them. A plan formed in her mind—these pirates had essentially delivered themselves to get their heads removed from their bodies. (T/N: I was deliberating on making this line sound ominous, and I did, but it was sounding too ominous and bloody so I had to change it to something PG-15. If you're wondering what I put let's just say if you watch Berserk, some of that kind of shit. Funny I haven't even watch it yet LOL XD)
