TRANSLATOR NOTES:
Hey guys it's been a while, Good news for me and you... My computer has been fixed somewhat, and I'm back in business.
But what I truly came here to tell you guys is that I started a Pokemon fanfic as a side project called Pokemon: Behold the Father of all pokemons, it's basically a guy transmigrated into another world that focuses on Bio-Engineering, and he has a system them helps him create pokemon, and he builds a business empire from that, Interesting read trust me, it has around 50 chapters at the moment (All in Patreon Obviously) but at least 12 chapters are available now on Webnovel.
If you're wondering if I have a main project... yes I do, I just haven't started translating it yet, it's a HxH fanfic that spills into other anime, I've already read over 300 chapters of it, and that's telling how good it is. it just needs some serious fixing up to be near perfection. (I ain't gonna tell you what is is, if you know, you know, if not... meh)
...
"This is one of the Navy's Six Styles, Iron Body?" The corners of Ron's mouth curved up. "You're from the Navy?"
In fact, Ron already knew the other party's identity; they must be CP9, but he couldn't say it directly just yet.
"They…" Robin spoke at this time. She looked at the two masked men with a complicated expression and said, "They are members of the World Government's secret organization: CP9, a covert intelligence and assassination agency!"
"The World Government's secret organization, CP9?" Ron chuckled. "I have heard rumors about such an organization before, but seeing you in person today, you definitely have some skill. Yet you're bold enough to threaten my crew right in front of me? Do you think I'm not here? Are you humiliating me?"
Bang!
Ron kicked out again. This time, it wasn't like the casual kick he used before. It wasn't all his power, but he did put in a bit of strength—about twenty percent. Although he still didn't use Armament Haki, it was enough to see how serious he was.
After a thunderous crash, the second masked man flew backward, smashing through several buildings in a row.
Cough, cough, cough…
A coughing sound came from the rubble. The masked man who had been sent flying was severely injured and vomited blood but did not die.
Ron was a bit surprised. Even without using Armament Haki, a kick at twenty percent strength from him was no joke. With his current level, only someone around the Seven Warlords' tier would survive a blow like that.
"The power is terrifying!" The masked man stepped out of the wreckage and looked at Ron with horror in his eyes. "If it weren't for the strong defense of Iron Body blocking ninety percent of that power, I'd be dead already!"
"Are you alright?" The first masked man, who had been kicked a few meters away earlier, rushed over to the second masked man. Thanks to Ron's earlier kick being casual, the first masked man wasn't badly injured. "What do we do now?"
"Now…" The badly injured masked man looked at Ron and said, "With him here—even if we use the Navy Six Styles plus our Devil Fruit abilities—we're unlikely to be his match."
"Yeah. Not even two admirals could defeat him; how could we? Unless we all converge on him, there's no chance of winning." The first masked man nodded. "Can we escape right now?"
"We can. Even though we can't beat him, if we want to leave, he can't stop us," the second masked man said. "Have you forgotten my Devil Fruit ability?"
"The Door-Door Fruit!" The first masked man smiled. "Alright, let's go now. Then we'll gather the others and complete our mission as soon as possible. Even without Robin, I believe we can still succeed."
"Go!" The second masked man crouched down and pressed one hand to the ground. In the astonished eyes of Ron and the girls, a door appeared on the floor. The two men opened it, dashed in, and then the door disappeared.
"Did those two guys just escape via some kind of dimensional trick?"
Ron didn't chase them. He narrowed his eyes slightly, thinking of someone else: there was a beautiful woman in CP9 named Kalifa. She should currently be serving as secretary to the Water Capital's mayor, Iceburg. Judging from how these two tried to threaten Robin into working for them, they were definitely plotting something involving Iceburg.
Kalifa… That woman is quite interesting. I should find a way to bring her onto the pirate ship.
There's also the Navy Six Styles, which I definitely want. Maybe learning them could boost my four-dimensional attributes from two hundred to three hundred!
Though my four-dimensional attributes grow more slowly the higher they get, the Navy Six Styles are still valuable: there's Iron Body for defense, Shave for speed, Tempest Kick and Finger Pistol for offense, Paper Art for dodging, and Moonwalk for temporary airborne movement. I'm determined to learn them. If Kalifa comes aboard, I can get them all.
"Brother Ron, why did you let them go? They just threatened Sister Robin!" Aisha asked in confusion. "Shouldn't you have taught them a lesson?"
"Oh, Aisha, have you ever heard of using a long line to fish for a big catch?" Ron smiled slightly. "Let's gather our things first, then we'll go pay a visit to the mayor of the Water Capital!"
"Visit the mayor?" The girls all looked at Ron questioningly, wondering what he was planning.
"Why go see the mayor?" Nami asked. "Aren't we in a hurry to leave?"
"Those guys dared to threaten Robin. I'm not letting them off that easily. Only two of them showed up just now, but there are definitely more CP9 members here in the Water Capital, and they must be scheming something. I want to find out what they're up to. Also, while they're all in one place, I can settle things and avenge Robin!" Ron shrugged.
"That's not necessary, is it?" Robin shook her head. "They only threatened me. I think we should leave here immediately. After all, they belong to the World Government service."
"Cipher Pol doesn't scare me," Ron said calmly. "It doesn't matter if it's CP9 or CP1 through CP8. Anyone who threatens me pays the price."
"Fine, do as you please." Robin glanced at Ron and turned away.
The other girls saw how confident Ron was and looked at him admiringly, making Ron feel ever more pleased with himself.
"Alright, don't get carried away," Nami said, bringing Ron back down to earth. "You're setting a bad example for Kaya and Apis by bragging so much. Don't let Aisha and Apis grow up talking big like you do!"
"Hey, Nami, be clear—where did I brag?" Ron complained unhappily.
"You're obviously bragging, and you'll lead kids astray…"
"I'm not! I dare them to bring in the entire Cipher Pol and see if I'm scared…"
Watching Ron and Nami bicker—while Kaya pulled Nami to one side, and Aisha and Apis clung to Ron in admiration—Robin couldn't help but smile.
