Chapter 151 - Chapter 150

TN - I'm looking at my bank account, and all of a sudden rain starts pouring and thunder starts to wail. It's a tragic feeling.

...

"Huh?"

Seeing a group of people rushing toward them with weapons, Ron remained expressionless, though the girls were visibly surprised.

"Who are these people?" Kaya asked, still unaware of the attackers' intentions.

Nami's face grew serious as she shouted, "Watch out! They might be here to steal our money!"

"Steal the money?" Kaya's face changed, but seeing Ron nearby, she relaxed, knowing she had nothing to fear with him around.

"They're after our money! Just a bunch of thugs!" Aisa huffed, glaring at the dozen or so burly men approaching.

"Don't worry!" Aisa declared confidently, crossing her arms. "With Brother Ron, Sister Raki, and everyone else here, we have nothing to fear!"

"Exactly! We're not scared!" Apis chimed in.

"Quit talking and just attack! Grab the money and go!" the bald leader snarled, casting a menacing glance at Ron's group. He knew that wasting time would be a mistake, especially with other gangs watching and waiting for their turn to strike.

"Got it, boss!"

The gang quickly advanced, weapons in hand, as a few gunmen in the back raised their firearms and fired at Ron's group.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ron's brow furrowed as he saw the bullets flying. With a swift move, he blocked the incoming shots with his hand. While he was unaffected by regular bullets, the same couldn't be said for the others, so he intercepted them all.

"Trying to rob me?" He smirked, a dangerous gleam in his eyes. "You must have a death wish."

Watching the thugs charge forward, Ron shook his head. He couldn't help but wish he'd unlocked his Conqueror's Haki already; it would've made quick work of them. However, he was confident that encountering someone with Conqueror's Haki soon would allow him to awaken his own.

But for now, his priority was dealing with these small-time thugs.

"Ron, can we handle this?" Vivi and Raki stepped forward. They were no longer the same as before; with their skills honed by Ron, handling these low-level thugs was well within their ability.

"Sure, consider this practice," Ron nodded. These were just ordinary bandits, perfect for some training.

Vivi grinned, pulling out her weapon—still the gyroscope-like device, versatile enough for both melee and ranged attacks.

As for Raki, her Shandora combat skills granted her a physical boost, making her almost as skilled as Tashigi in close combat.

The two girls charged at the group, and within moments, the thugs were either on the ground or fleeing. The sound of breaking bones and cries of pain filled the air as each bandit was incapacitated.

The bald boss gaped, his eyes wide with shock. "How... how are these two women so powerful?"

"Boss... these people are way too strong!" stammered the sharp-faced henchman beside him, trembling as he watched his companions get crushed.

"I'm out of here!" the bald boss said, fear taking over. He had no idea who Ron and his crew were, but seeing his team decimated was enough. Forget the riches and dreams of nobility—surviving was all that mattered now.

Ordering his sharp-faced lackey to cover his escape, the bald boss turned and ran at full speed.

The lackey froze, watching his boss flee. His heart sank as the last shred of hope left him.

"Trying to run? Hmph!" Vivi scoffed, hurling her gyroscope toward the fleeing boss. "Peacock Slash, fall!"

With a whirring sound, the weapon struck the back of the bald boss's head, sending him sprawling face-first to the ground, motionless.

Seeing this, the sharp-faced lackey dropped to his knees, begging, "Spare me, please!, have mercy! I was forced into this. I have a family to support…"

"Silence!"

Ron gave him a cold stare, and the lackey immediately fell silent, his face pale as he awaited his fate.

"Well, should we get rid of them all?" Ron turned to the girls, gauging their thoughts.

If he were alone, he wouldn't hesitate to dispatch them, but with the girls—especially Aisa and Marianne—present, killing in front of them didn't seem right.

Kaya hesitated. "Maybe… just teach them a lesson without… killing?"

"It's true; it's better not to kill unnecessarily," Makino agreed. "But we should make sure they won't harm others again."

Nodding, Ron understood. "Very well." He approached the groaning thugs, stepping down on each one's legs. When he reached the bald boss, he made sure to break both legs, ensuring they wouldn't be able to continue their ways easily.

Unless they went through a costly transformation like Franky's, they'd no longer be able to trouble others.

Speaking of Franky, he appeared just then.

Standing at the alley's entrance, Franky watched Ron's ruthless efficiency with wide eyes, his usual crew looking equally unsettled.

"Boss Franky, they're terrifying!" one of his underlings whispered, visibly shaken. "Shouldn't we call this off? Even the bald guy's gang didn't stand a chance!"

Franky's eyes narrowed, clearly debating. "You all stay here. I'll go talk to them myself."

"Boss Franky… you're going alone?" The gang members stared at him, shocked.

"Yeah, just wait here. Don't do anything without my signal," Franky ordered, striding confidently toward Ron.

TN - Patreon is a waste of time if people don't join it and enjoy the benefit it offers. Now a days there are too many translators around which is a good and bad thing (in some ways) so readers like myself attention are mostly split between 4 different books (The good translations) and struggling between which one to support, so other translators that are looking to make some sort of profit off translating, lose theirs readers interest because people wants their money's worth.

I am in that same sinking ship, where I have a lot of collections from my readers but not a lot of comments, reviews, power stones and so on, my book is more like a past time than a blood pumping translation.

Basically the reason I stopped translating this book, so now i'm translating this book for fun.
