On the other side.
Francis received the news that their request for a First Class Protector was approved, so he heaved a sigh of relief knowing this. He thought that they wouldn't agree to his request since their pack was known to be the strongest. And of course, others would think that they wouldn't be needing any protectors because they're strong.
"When is that person coming?"
Francis asked his beta, Troye, who's beside him. It was Troye who sent and receive the letter so he's the one who received the news.
"I estimate that he will be here in just an hour. The letter that i received was just delivered and it says the person that they sent is on the way here." Troye said, in which, Ezekhiel respond with a nod.
Ezekhiel then proceed with his works while waiting for the protectors.
After an hour of waiting, his beta, Troye, informed Ezekhiel that the protector have already arrived and that he was with Kurt and Kyle, walking towards the his office.
It didn't take long before the protector arrived at Ezekhiel's office in which he greeted him.
"Hi, welcome to Crescent Moon Pack. My name is Ezekhiel and this is my beta, Troye."
Ezekhiel introduced himself and extend his hand, wanting to shake the protector's hand, in which he also return.
"Hi, thank you. My name's Julius, a First Class Protector. Nice to meet you all."
Julius said while shaking Ezekhiel and Troye. He already know his gamma and delta because they introduced themselves to each other so he didn't bother introducing his self to them now.
"Have a seat."
"Thank you." Julius said as he sits on the chair in front of Ezekhiel.
"No, it should be us, thanking you for accepting our request."
Ezekhiel said, expressing his gratitude to him for accepting their request.
"Nah, it's actually not a problem. And besides, i also wanna expand my knowledge serving a pack. To be honest, this is actually my first time being a protector in a pack so, please guide me and don't hesitate to tell me any problems that needed my help."
Julius said. Even though he is a First Class Protector, serving a pack and being in a pack was something he didn't even do yet. This Crescent Moon Pack was the one he'd be first experiencing to.
He mostly do missions like hunting wolves hunters, chasing a traitor in their organization and many more except this. So, he wanna know what it feels like being in a pack and protecting it.
He wanna be like his idol, their organizations boss, who's name was known all over the country because of how amazing she is. As a First Class Protector, he got to see the face of his boss. And aside from being strong, she's also a peerless beauty. Beauty with brains and strength, an every men's dream indeed.
He also got to see her strength and he was mesmerized by how strong she is, but, he doubt that that was really her true strength. He feels like that strength that he have seen was just a facade, that she was stronger than that.
He remembered seeing his boss defeat their hardest and toughest AI system and he bowed to be as strong and great as she is. And if it cannot be achieved, he will be satisfied even if he's just near her strength.
"Then, i hope we'll have a nice cooperation."
Julius was snap back to reality when he heard Ezekhiel's voice. He then smiled and said.
"Yeah, me too."
Ezekhiel, Troye, Kurt, Kyle and Julius continued to talk for about an hour before Ezekhiel was called by his father through mind link, Ezekhiel then ordered his men.
"Why don't you take a rest first? I'm sure it was a long ride coming from here so you must be quite tired. I'll also tell my pack to prepare your meal and wake you up when it's done."
Ezekhiel said to Julius. Even though he doesn't know the location of their organization, Ezekhiel was sure that Julius take more than an hour from there to here. And so, he wanted him to rest first.
"Ah, no thanks. I'll just take a rest later. I was just actually nearby when i heard that I've been chosen as the protector of your pack, so i can't really say that it was a long ride. You go and take care of your matters first, I'll just go with Kurt to wander around your pack."
Julius said, rejecting Ezekhiel's suggestion about him, taking a rest. And because he's human, he, of course, have the guts to reject an alpha since he's not bound by a connection with them.
Ezekhiel just nodded and told Kurt to take care of Julius first and introduce him to their pack before excusing his self and then went to his parent's room.
His father mind-link him just now, telling him to come over. He responded that he was busy but his father told him that it was important and he needed him. ASAP.
Ezekhiel got no choice but to follow his father and went to their room where they, his parents, have just probably finished doing something spicy.
He knocked on the door of his parent's room, and went in when he heard his father says, "Come in."
When he went inside, he saw his father gesturing him to follow him to his indoor office. Since he became the alpha, the previous office of his father became his while his fatther prepared another office for himself in their room.
Ezekhiel greeted his mom first, who just smiled and nodded at him, before following his father to his office.
His father then pointed the chair in front of him before sitting down, in which, he followed thereafter.
"What's the matter, dad?"
Ezekhiel asked immediately after sitting down.
"I heard that you requested for a protector? Is that true?" The previous alpha, Zandro, asked his son.
He didn't know why his son still requested for a protector when they already have the best one.
"Hm, yes. I knew about their organization and wanted to have one here in our pack as well. Although i know that our pack are strong, i still want to have an additional people to protect our pack. Also, they already agreed and he's also here already."
What his son said makes sense, but, when Zandro think of it, he suddenly realized that he forgot to inform his son about his mate, Genevieve's identity.
Zandro coughed slightly as he had no intention of informing his son about his mate's identity.
"I suggest you stop requesting about that already, our pack is perfectly fine and you don't have to worry anything about having an extra people to help with protecting you our pack."
Zandro said, causing Ezekhiel to frown. He didn't want to obey what his father said. He thinks that having a protector that can stop the wolf hunters will be a great thing to them. He just didn't know why his father didn't want him to.
Seeing Ezekhiel frown, Zandro knew that this son of his will not obey his order.
"Judging from your face, i know you wouldn't obey me. Anyway, it's all up to you. Just don't blame me in the future for not telling you."
Zandro said, sighing. He knew that no matter how many times he persuaded his son to drop out the subject of requesting a protector, it would be useless, so he decided to just let him be. Anyways, he's not the one who'll suffer in the future. He will just sit back and relax with his wife while watching how miserable his son is.
Thinking about the future, Zandro laughed loudly then gestured to his son to take his leave.
