Noah started moving towards the Gang camp at night, but as he made his way, the rain started to fall, making the visibility low and the journey difficult for him. He didn't know that somewhere hidden, someone was watching him leaving the village.
As he approached the camp, he could feel the tension in the air become heavier. When he reached the campsite, he saw that only a few people were awake, and only one or two were patrolling. Taking advantage of the situation, Noah tried to enter the camp. The camp of the gang was an old building that was somehow still standing after the war but in a worn-torn condition.
When Noah entered the building, he saw only two people who were still awake, all others were sleeping. He tried to gather information, but he had a feeling that something was wrong. As he was gathering information, he heard a whisper from one of the rooms. "Drake: What do you say, Sam? Will that boy dare to enter this building? Is he an idiot?" "Sam: Shush, be quiet and lay down and behave like you're sleeping."
Hearing this, Noah was shocked and wondered if they were talking about him. Suddenly, he realized that everyone was not sleeping, but pretending to be. Noah thought of backing off but then decided that he couldn't waste this chance to gather intel. He became more alert and continued gathering information.
As he was checking one of the rooms, he heard a shout, "Bastard! That boy had already sneaked into the building! What the hell are you all doing? Search him, don't let him go outside, catch him, and bring him to me." Noah was panicked and didn't know what to do. After a few moments, he became calm, but the fear in his eyes couldn't go. Just then, he heard that someone was coming towards the room, so he hid behind a box.
With a loud bang, the gate of the room opened, and one gangster entered, searching for Noah while cursing. Noah thought that he had to strike first as the room had no lights and this was a good chance for him. Suddenly, he started moving towards the gangster, just as the gangster turned, and their eyes met. The gangster became first and then ecstasy came. "Hehehe, little boy, so you are here. Okay, let's go with me; otherwise, I don't mind breaking your little legs. Once I take you to the boss, he will surely award me handsomely."
Seeing the gangster distracted, Noah ran towards him and stabbed the knife in his heart. Before the gangster could react, he was already stabbed and started losing consciousness and fell. Noah saw that this gangster was dealt with, and he stroked the knife, which was still bathed in blood.
The dagger was in the package that the high priest had given him, and the handle was golden in color, possibly built with gold. The body sharpness of the dagger was unmatched, and Noah had never seen anything like it before.
Although this was his first kill, he was not disgusted with the blood. Hearing footsteps, Noah came back from his stupor. "I should better leave now; otherwise, someone else will come, and then it will be difficult to leave." While moving towards another room, Noah thought, "This camp has around less than 10 people. Originally, they had around 14 people. Sure enough, we can't trust the information we got before. There are 4 more extra people than we know. It's good that I was able to find out, but it's dangerous, I have to be careful."
Let's go seeing no one is here he moved towards the exit. Just when he is near one of the exit doors, he sees that one gangster is already there. If he doesn't solve the situation, it will not be easy for him to leave. Noah started looking around to see if there was anything he could use, but when he saw that there was nothing useful, he focused his attention back on the gangster. He tried to move to the side of the gangster and hide behind one of the pillars, taking advantage of the fact that the gangster wasn't paying attention in his direction.
Noah started running towards the gangster at full speed and slit his throat with his dagger. However, this action caused a disturbance and Noah heard a scream, "Dammit, don't let him out. Catch him for me!" Seeing that the situation was becoming more unfavorable, Noah dashed towards the exit and left the building.
As soon as he was outside, he started running as fast as he could. He knew that the gangsters would soon be on his tail and he had to get as far away from the camp as possible. He ran through the rain, dodging trees and jumping over fallen branches. The sound of footsteps and shouting could be heard behind him, but he didn't dare to look back. He just kept running until his legs started to ache and his breath was coming in ragged gasps.
And he sees that villagers are running toward him. He moved towards them, and just as they saw him coming, they were shocked by his bloody appearance. Before they could say anything, Noah spoke up, "Uncles, let's leave quickly, the gangsters might catch us soon." The villagers were confused by what had happened in the camp, but seeing the urgency in Noah's voice, they decided to follow his lead.
One of the villagers, seeing that Noah was not in good condition, picked him up and started running toward the village. Noah explained to the villagers that they needed to leave the area quickly, but promised to fill them in on the details once they reached the safety of the village. The group ran towards the village as fast as they could, not daring to look back until they had reached the safety of their homes.
