Chapter 1 - Young Immortal?!

"It's been a long time, sir Warchief, the Gods might have left this land but I am sure that they will help us from up above." An old man with a long beard said to a man standing next to him.

They were both standing near a warrior statue and the mighty altar of odin that looked like a giant golden pot.

"Yeah, you're right village chief, It is getting harder and harder everyday for our army to stop the Undead to subdue Hel's power." The Warchief mentioned the old bearded man as the village chief.

"I just hope that an incarnate of the god appears to free our viking lands from the death curse." Said the Village chief.

"I also hope that what you said comes true." The Warchief replied with a hopeful expression.

As they were chit-chatting about the future of the viking lands, a sudden bright lightning struck the backside of the capital city.

"ahhh!" People that lived near to where the lightning struck panicked because of the sudden lightning strike in a clear weather.

"It must be an enemy attack!" The guards near the Back entrance door of the city prepared their weapons and took an offensive stance after their leader stated that this might be an enemy attack.

"Go, Inform the Warchief about what happened here." The leader of the guards ordered one of the guards to inform the Warchief about the sudden lightning.

"Yes sir!" The guard bowed at a 90 degree angle in front of the leader before leaving.

...

"where... where am I?" A cold voice suddenly emerged from where the lightning struck.

The voice made the situation more tense because only an elite monster could talk human language.

"Take stance" The Leader ordered the guards to take an offensive stance to avoid any incoming attacks from the enemy.

After a while , when the smoke started to fade away, the leader saw a young figure emerge from the smoke.

"Don't attack, it's a human." The Leader ordered the guards to not attack when he saw the young man emerge from the smoke.

The Warchief arrived at the site soon after the guard left to inform him.

"A human?" Said the Warchief after watching the whole show that happend in front of him.

"Sir, it might be an enemy that has disguised itself as a human."

Said one of the guards to the Warchief and the leader.

The leader also had a little suspicion because how did this human survive if he was hit by a strong lightning strike?

This thought came to his mind again and again and he felt more doubtful about the human after he heard what the guard said.

It was not common for Undead to transform into different forms but it was also not something impossible to do.

"Stay on alert, we should warn him to not step any further."

The leader said looking at the guards.

The Warchief also nodded at his descision because it was the best someone could do in a situation like this.

"Who are you people?" The young man's voice resounded from the fading smoke.

"Do not step any further, intruder, we will have to take strict security measures if you step any further." The Leader shouted at the young man.

The guards also took an offensive stance again to avoid any damage.

"I won't harm anyone, don't attack." The young man surrendered in front of the guards to avoid getting hurt.

"We will arrest you first to inquire you." It was the Warchief who said these words this time.

"I agree." The young man said.

"Arrest him." Said the Warchief.

"Yes sir." The guards responded quickly with respect.

...

After the guards arrested him, he was taken into a prison cell for inquiry.

He was sitting on a wooden chair with iron chains tied on his legs and hands.

"Now answer all of our questions honestly or we will have to try a different way." Said the Leader of the guards sitting on an iron chair near the prison cell.

Beside him was sitting the Warchief and the Village chief on iron chairs.

"I will answer all of your questions honestly." Said the young man.

"Okay, so let's start with your name." The leader said to him with a cold expression.

"Nevo." The young man replied calmly.

"Where did you come from?" The leader started to ask further.

"Me and my clan used to live in the Desolate woods but my whole clan was slaughtered by the Undead monsters." He shivered when he spoke about the monsters.

The leader could clearly see the fear and sorrow in his eyes after he said those words.

"How did you come here and what was that lightning?"

The Leader started to go deep down into his quiestions.

"I was the last one left in my clan after the slaughter, when I realized that I have no supplies of food and water left, I decided to go on hunting. When I was hunting a wild moose, I was attacked by a draugur sorcerer and dropped unconscious . By when I thought that I was dead, I was here, outside the city."

He told the truth about what happened to him and the Elders could see that he was not lying through some magical powers.

"okay, enough with the questions, now our alchemists and doctors will have to test you and your body and if we don't sense any harm from you, then we will let you go." The Village chief spoke this time.

...

After Nevo was left at the research facility to to be tested, the results came out that shocked everyone to the bottom.

"S-Sir!!" An old witch doctor said with aghast expression on her face in front of the Warchief and the other Elders.

"What happened sabrina?" All of the Elders had the same question.

"T-the boy is a-an Immortal." She stuttered a few broken words that could shock the whole world.

"What!!?" All of the Elders shouted with their eyes widened in shock.
