The sun came rising soonest. The heating ray of light rested on Theo's window. As the sun continued rising and bringing more light, it also brightened Theo's room revealing a configured view of Theo, who was seated in the darkest part of his room with a bottle of gin by his side. It was pretty clear with the eye bags that were popping, that he hadn't slept at all all through the night. He kept pondering on what Gael had said last night.
He knew she was strange because the power she possessed was something rare. And he liked it. He liked that fate mated him to someone special and unique. But he was wrong.
He could only think of two reasons why Fate had brought them together.
Either to weaken her vengeful heart with the mate bond, or by bringing them together so Theo could pay for the sins his father committed.
