Author's Pov
After the conversation Aurora had with Lilith and Amber, Amber went back to her room while Aurora and Lilith went straight to bed both exhausted.
Waking up the next morning, Aurora discovered that onyx has been missing since the previous evening but wasn't aware due to the chaos of yesterday. And now she can't go in search of him because she has to get ready for class, it's Thursday already and her first class is dragon history.
Waking up today, she hasn't been herself, not seeing onyx is getting her worried. Has he gotten better and left, she continuously asked herself, what if someone finds him, what if he's already long gone, what if one of the teachers find him and realize he's not an ordinary cat, Her head was filled with so many what ifs, and it was getting her more worried, her first class being dragon history wasn't even helping, it was giving her anxiety, why won't it? It's just going to be she and hydra and she doesn't know how it's going to be. Damn! She isn't in the right frame of mind today, she doesn't want to go to class, she would rather go in search of onyx, she was debating seriously in her head on whether to go attend her classes today and face Hydra or to just stay back, skip her classes and find onyx before anyone else does. Mentally face palming her self, she realized she couldn't skip her classes today, because there's no way they won't get summoned and punish for what went down last night, they did destroy the full dinning hall. "Argh" she groaned internally "I hate my life". Sliding down, she sat on the floor close to her bed burying her face inside the soft foam.
"Are you okay" Lilith asked staring at Aurora's face which was still slightly puffy from last night.
"Today's going to be awful" she dragged out. "I can't find onyx, my first class is with Hydra, I won't be able to bear it if she hates me or if she looks at me like a monster, I mean after last night, who wouldn't" she sighed heavily burying her face deeper inside the foam turning her voice muffled. "Plus teacher demitrey is going to bury us alive". She continued making muffled sounds which somehow Lilith understood.
"I'm sure it's not going to be that bad, I mean she can't be mad at you forever, and let's just get this day over with, so up". She said "and we have to go to the dinning hall for breakfast" she continued causing Aurora to raise her head, glaring at her.
"What ?" Lilith questioned the look on Aurora's face.
"What's what?" Aurora questioned back.
"Why are you glaring at me"
"Why won't I? What dinning hall?, what breakfast? The hall we destroyed or what?". she asked "Wait! Don't tell me there's another dinning hall in the school". She completed sarcastically rolling her eyes causing Lilith to chuckle.
"I totally forgot about that" still chuckling, Lilith replied.
Standing up from the floor, Aurora dusted herself, smoothing out her uniform skirt, throwing her hair into a ponytail, she picked up her backpack from the bed heading for the door. "Let's just go and get this over with, I have a certain black cat to find, hopefully no one finds him before I do".
Walking into the school they walked through the hall that led to their first class, walking past the buzzing hallway filled with students they headed towards their locker which was situated across the hallway. Opening their locker and taking out their books, the school PA system turned on.
"Group 56 report to the principal's office immediately ". The strict and loud voice of Miss Hannah resounded in the loud hallway followed by a click as the PA system shut off instantly shutting the mouths of the students, turning the once buzzing hallway as quiet as a graveyard. Immediately after hearing the click the dead hallway came alive again, the students whispering amongst themselves about what happened last night. Lilith walked across the hallway to where Aurora was, still standing in front of her locker.
"Why does it always have to be that witch? Like why does the entire school seems like it revolves around her, I mean it's supposed to be principal demitrey making the announcement, not her, what is she even doing in his office? She's just an ordinary teacher, just like the other ones. No matter the situation, she's always there sticking to principal demitrey like she's some sort of a vice principal." Aurora said to Lilith rolling her eyes annoyed.
"You really do hate her" chuckling Lilith replied her "Maybe she's just helping him and she's not just any ordinary teacher, she's the headteacher".
"still an ordinary teacher but whatever and it's not funny" Aurora said, both walking down a hallway leading to principal demitrey's office. "Why is it always her? There are other teachers, but no, it's the one that Hates me. Just wait and see, she wasn't there but I'll be her prime suspect, she'll find someway to pin everything that happened on me".
"It's not that bad". Lilith said smiling softly. "I mean she can't be that bad". She completed, Aurora could only shake her head as a reply, they won't believe her until they witness the hatred that witch has for her in person.
Arriving at the front of principal demitrey's office, they both stopped staring at each other. Breathing deeply Lilith murmured something under her breath before opening the door. Aurora and her stepped in closing the door softly.
Raising her head, Aurora was welcomed by the dark look directed at her from Miss Hannah who was standing beside a seething principal demitrey who was sitting on the chair behind his large mahogany desk waiting for the right time to explode .
"Tch this witch" Aurora muttered under her breath clicking her tongue. She's very sure Miss Hannah has been feeding principal demitrey lies about how she's the cause of everything, she already know that much with the way principal demitrey turned to look at her noticing her presence. She and Lilith stood close to each other at one end of the office looking around she realized some people were already present. Amber was standing with her brother, the demon, Sabrina and Raphael was also present. Almost immediately the twins, Eva, Hydra and her mate stepped into the office. Immediately he realized they were complete, principal demitrey started.
"So would anyone like to explain what happened" he asked his voice filled with anger yet still held authority. "No?" He asked again after not getting a response staring at Aurora. "Of course it's always me" Aurora spoke inwardly rolling her eyes. "I asked you a question Aurora" he spoke to Aurora in a restrained voice, his eyes staring straight at her, ignoring the other students.
"No you didn't" Aurora spat bitterly tired of their unfair treatment. "You were asking all of us present in the room the question".
"Ok, now let me rephrase, Aurora would you mind explaining what happened in the dinning hall, that got it DESTROYED!!" he yelled out finally snapping.
"Yes, yes I'd mind, like why is it me, why choose me to explain? There are eleven other students present, but no! Pick the student you resent more, bully her, show her how much you despise her". She snapped as well.
"There's no one here bullying you, that's all in your head" he stood up in anger. "And why did I question you when there are other students present? Why won't I?"
"The question is why would you and also you say the way you and that woman treats me is all in my head, right?" She asked calmly referring to Miss Hannah, she sounded tired and defeated and she really was, she was tired of all this, she just wanted to cry and go home, she missed her home, she hated it here. she knew she was going to have an emotional breakdown any day from now and beg them to take her back home. That's the only place she believes she will ever fit in, she really wanted to go back and can't wait for the break. "Meaning I'm insane, ok I agree and you probably think whatever went down in the dinning hall was all my fault, ok I admit it was, so do as you wish or just expel me already and save your self the stress because really I hate it here, i really do, so please expel me, you know I wasn't always like this". She refered to the strange voices and the stuff happening to her "but coming here has been one hell of a ride for me, it changed me in ways I can't even imagine, it broke me but it's ok, i just want to go home" she concluded calmly trying so hard to hold back her tears, she didn't want to sound or appear pathetic like she is doing right now but she can't help it, she knew she could have tried a different approach but that would only lead to her and principal demitrey exchanging words and eventually lead to more pains on her part and that isn't something she enjoys so just accepting defeat was the only option she saw.
"What are you saying? It was your fault? why do you always think taking the blame is always the best option? It's not, it's not fair the way they both assumed whatever in the dinning hall happened was your fault, it wasn't." Hydra spoke up upset at Aurora attitude of always letting people have their way. "And I don't find it nice the way you blame her for what happened when you weren't even there, you want to find out what happened then ask the real culprit and leave Aurora out of all these bullshit cause that's what this is, fucking bullshit" she spoke glaring at principal demitrey and then to Miss Hannah daring her to add anything more to what she had just said.
Aurora would have been surprised that hydra defended her if she was in her right frame of mind or thinking straight but she wasn't, she shut their voices out and was waiting for when they'll be allowed to leave so she can go cry herself to sleep.
"LANGUAGE YOUNG LADY!! I would not take that in my office". Principal demitrey yelled harshly glaring at Hydra. Running his hand through his hair, he clenched and unclenched his fist, he spoke up "we'll come back to this but for now I'll not speak on this". He said after composing himself. "The council with be coming to the school tomorrow or the day after and I want everyone of you to behave yourselves" he eyes staring at all of them in the room "your group always happens to be in the center of all chaos, problems, name it. And be rest assured you all will get the punishment you all so deserve once they leave a.."
"Why are they coming?" Blake asked cutting principal demitrey off from whatever it is he was going to say.
Glaring at him principal demitrey replied "that would be answered during the public announcement, now all of you leave".
Walking out of the office Aurora immediately disappeared in the purple cloud of smoke leaving hydra who was about to approach her frozen. She keeps forgetting Aurora is also a witch. Aurora was surprised as well to find herself appear at the front of her room, seems like even a powers were aware she wanted nothing to do with anyone for the rest of the day, so she's skipping classes and she doesn't give a damn about the consequence.
Opening the door and stepping inside she muttered to herself referring to her powers. "Finally came in handy".
"I'm surprised as well" she heard a masculine voice she had never heard before say. Slowly turning around she saw a naked male in her room, looking upwards and willing her eyes to remain there she saw Amber orbs staring at her with a smirk etched on his lips. Screaming loudly she ran outside coming face to face with the demon in their group who to her was more scary than the naked stranger in her room right now especially with the way he was looking at her from up to down. And so without thinking twice she opened her door then ran back inside.
