Aurora's Pov
After getting lost more than a couple of times, we finally arrived at the entrance of the dinning Hall. Lilith opened the door with a little force and thus the door opens with a loud thud making everyone in the dinning Hall turn towards us, great,at a time like this I just wish the ground would open up and swallow me cause I hate attention. As if sensing my discomfort Lilith immediately turns to me while whispering apologetically "So sorry it was a mistake". I just gave her a small smile as a reply before walking ahead to take a seat. The dinning hall was extremely large, three long tables ran the length of the room. It's tall wall reached to the ceiling which was filled with chandeliers illuminating the whole place, the walls were painted cream and dull brown which looked recently painted. The tables were already set, candles lined in the centre of the table illuminating the room along with the numerous chandeliers. It was then I realized we were the last people to get into the hall cause every seat was taken except for two in the middle row. We immediately walked towards the empty seats to avoid further attention. Taking my seat I heard my name.
"Hi Aurora" Hydra called smiling her shoulder length blonde hair in a braid, she was sitting at the seat next to mine.
"Hey" I replied in a low voice still a little bit embarrassed
"What took you so long I was getting worried" she scolded.
"I'm sorry I just forgot to check the time that's why" I replied.
"Ok" she said "this is my roommate Eva Finn she's a mermaid" she said smiling while pointing to a really gorgeous girl with strawberry blonde hair and long lashes who sat close to her.
"Hi Eva I'm Aurora and this is my roommate Lilith a demon" I said to her.
"Hi Aurora, hi Lilith" Eva said smiling which made her look even more gorgeous, if that's even possible.
"Hi" Lilith said in a bored tone. After dinner we were all asked to go to our rooms and prepare for school tomorrow.
Getting to our room I and Lilith decided to check our schedule to see what we have tomorrow. I have mate history, attack and defense, and sorcery for the first quarter of the day while Lilith have mate history, attack and defence, and demon mythology. Attack and defense is a general class while mate history is a class for species with mate. After seeing what we have tomorrow we went to bed.
Waking up the next morning Lilith and I got ready and went for our first class, mate history. Which was filled with vampires, werewolves, demons and dragons. Lilith and I sat at the back close to the window while Hydra sat beside us. Then the petite woman with black curly hair that addressed us at the Assembly walked into the class.
"Good morning class, my name is Sarah and I'm going to be your teacher for this class" she said while smiling. She told us about how mate came about and how to know one's mate when they meet". To be honest the class was boring to me since I was never interested in things about mate because I am certain I don't have one. Finally the class came to an end with her promising to tell us more on how to find one's mate which I wasn't looking forward to at all.
We later went to our attack and defense class which was done in the same large hall used for the assembly yesterday since it was a general class. The chairs were all stacked and move to the corners so there would be space for sparing and training. There were a lot of students present at the hall and we were asked to go change to our training uniform which we all did. The teacher came in with a scowl on his face, he introduced himself as Simon, funny enough he happened to be Mr grumpy. He wasted no time and proceeded to pick out two girls a demon and a Vampire to spar.
After some time they ended with the vampire tapping out. After some more sparring, I was called out to spar with a demon and I was nervous as hell because I didn't know anything about fighting. I'm guessing Mr grumpy isn't a fan of me. When the fight began I just stood there while she pounced on me not knowing what to do, I only managed to protect my face from the random punches she was throwing my way. I did the only thing I could think of, I tapped out to stop the beating I was receiving and she finally stopped I was relieved but I was in pains and I couldn't stand up, Lilith came and helped me in standing up after mocking me of course, telling me about how I stood like a statue while being pounced upon. Afterwards, the class finally ended and it was lunch time so Lilith helped me in getting to the cafeteria since I was still a little bit in pains. I heal fast but not as fast as a pure blood dragon. On getting to the cafeteria we ordered our food and sat down at an empty table where Hydra and Eva later joined us.
"Are you ok?" Hydra asked with concern and worry in her voice.
"Yes I'm fine just a little sore but I'll be fine by the end of our lunch break" I replied
"Oh that is a relief" she said "so what do you guys have next" she asked.
"I have sorcery" I replied.
"I have demon mythology" said Lilith.
"Oh that means we don't have class together because I and Eva are having water practice" she said.
"Ok" I said and almost immediately the bell rang indicating that we should leave for our next class. Finally I could move on my own and I couldn't feel anymore pains "I guess I have healed fully" I thought before standing up and walking to my next class, sorcery.
