"Sure is bright outside." Emelda frowns, standing at the window bundled in a blanket. Rainer peers out as well.
"I'm tired of playing in the snow." The boy grumbles.
"I'm tired of watching you play in the snow." She agrees putting her blanket around the boy as well. It's been snowing for two months now, so most days were spent inside the castle.
"I hope Lord Tyran is okay." He breathes.
"Me too." She frowns. He hasn't returned since Atlas had been there. He had confessed that he received word of the attack on Raiden and took him away to avoid conflict, unintentionally putting Emelda in harm's way.
"I miss him." He sighs. She leans down, picking the boy.
"Me too." She agrees, cuddling his cheek.
"Warm…" He mumbles cuddling her back.
"Poor cold Rainer." She sways with him.
Raiden enters the room, pausing as he watches them for a moment. "Lunch time." He says lightly, making them look over.
