Gyun sat at a table in the corner of the cafe sipping a macchiato on his laptop trying to get through a few units of Algebra 2 and jotting down notes when necessary.
The urban hippie aesthetic of the coffee shop was enjoyable It was a relaxed atmosphere that helped Gyun feel less tense.
With Gyun even ordering a small snack to go with his coffee but not eating enough to compromise his treasured 'cheat meal'.
The time passed quickly and soon it was 7:15 Juwon who was working behind the register taking orders. Came out changed out of his work uniform walking over to Gyun, "you ready?"
Pulling out his earbuds Gyun looked at him, "You're off shift already?"
Juwon chuckled "yeah I asked a favor of the manager today, they said it was fine"
"Ok then we going to your house or what?"
Juwon pulled out his phone, "not yet man, we got to order and pick up the food first"
Gyun smiled widely at that "oh yeah"

Carrying all the food Gyun stood behind Juwon as he unlocked the door to his apartment, Gyun noted that the apartment complex was definitely of the upper class. As the door opened Juwon walked in and took his shoes off followed by Gyun who handed the food to Juwon before taking off his shoes.
The inside of the apartment had a minimalist modern aesthetic and the majority of the house was white, including the furniture.
Gyun followed him into the dining room where they set down the assortment of food, Gyun looked around the kitchen. "So uh where are the plates?"
"In the cabinet down below"
Finding it and grabbing a pair of plates he hurried back to the food, as Juwon headed to the living room to switch on the TV. While Gyun stacked food on his plate and grabbing one of the soda's from the boxes they got.
Gyun plopped down on the couch shoving a pizza slice into his mouth, as the announcers came over the TV introducing the first fighter as they made their way to the cage.
Juwon also plopped down with a platter of food as Gyun shoveled food into his mouth, the fight eventually started after a minute or two of the fighters introduction.
Gyun asked a question in between his eating, "so these are the unranked guys right?"
"Yeah, there's like 8 or so pre-lim matches with some unranked or lower ranked fighters, then after that it's the 2 main events where we got a women's Straw weight top contender fight to decide who'll fight the current champion, Wang Lin. As well as a men's title fight for the middle weight title between number 3 ranked Pavel Arvlovsky and current champion Demetrious Johnson."
"hmmmm" Gyun didn't say anything as the fighters that were fighting exchanged blows, Gyun listened to the commentators as he watched.
"And Germaiasson shoots for a takedown....oh and Akiyama stuffs it no wait.... Germaiasson gets him down, Akiyama is in some trouble now, Akiyama is not a strong grappler and we know this he's only a BJJ purple belt and he does not have a wrestling background like Germaiasson who is a bronze olympic wrestler."
"I agree with you with you Suniyo, I think if Akiyama can't stop Germaiasson from taking him down he's not gonna have a fun time."
"Yeah Kang, I agree it's a classic matchup of grappler of striker and again the answer is who can stop their opponents attempts to pull them into their realms."
Sitting back sipping a soda as he ate some fried chicken, Gyun was watching his eyes full of curiosity.
The fight was an intense back and forth and eventually the German wrestler Germaiasson managed to sink a deep rear naked choke forcing Akiyama to tap late in the second round.
With the first match done there was a few minutes before the next match would start giving Gyun enough time to go to the bathroom.

Getting out of the bathroom, Gyun heard the apartments doorbell ring.
Juwon's voice came from the living room, "can you get that"
"Sure"
Gyun unlocked and opened the door, behind the door was a young girl who looked around 15 or 16.
According to what Juwon told him, Gyun presumed this was his sister Sua.
"Hello I'm Juwon's friend"

Sorry for the short chapter I was sick these past few days and I've been juggling summer school so it was pretty short, I promise even though these past few chapters have been boring it will get more interesting in the upcoming chapters so stick with me for a bit,
