Cracks opened up on the cave walls, sucking in lizards left and right, and then closing up. Ellie dodged as a giant fissure opened up near her feet. She began running, accidentally breaking a crystal in the process. The crystal started to glow, and then exploded violently, sending Ellie careening at maximum speed through the cave. She flew past a group of lizards, who watched amusedly as she smacked into another crystal, which sent her flying even faster down the tunnel, and landing on the dirty rock floor a few hundred feet away.

Ellie got up, dusted off her tunic, and took a look at her health stat.

'Looks like I'm much more durable than I thought.'
The fissures in the distance spread themselves out evenly and reshaped themselves to be more circular. white glowing crystals emerged from the holes and took the place of the missing blue crystals. The crystals began to glow brighter, and a stream of blue energy began to emanate from the crystal lizards backs, gradually turning the white crystals into the familiar blue ones.
'I should grab some of those before they all turn blue, who knows if they're useful.'
Ellie made her way over to the nearest white crystal and shoved it into her last inventory slot.

She began to shove as many crystals into her backpack as she could before her mana completely drained.

She quickly escaped the radius of the white crystal's suction and sat down on the ground to regain her energy.
'I guess mana is linked to my willpower or something, cause I feel exhausted.' Ellie folded up her tunic and put it behind her as a cushion. 'ill make my way back to Garren, and tell him about what I found out today, right after I finish lunch.' Ellie thought as she pulled a few crystals out of her inventory.
