Chereads / Lizard’s level-up buffet / Chapter 9 - The Routine

Chapter 9 - The Routine

Ellie emptied her inventory of all the small blue crystals and piled them up into a small mountain next to her. the crystals were small, but since she had collected over a thousand of them, the mountain was taller than she was.

'If this works, I'm gonna be the strongest lizard in this whole cave for sure.' she opened her stat menu and looked at the progress bar under her name.

[0/10]

'I've got plenty of crystals' Ellie began absorbing the energy from the mountain of crystals in front of her.

{Level Up} {Level Up} {Level Up} {Level Up}

{Level Up} {Level Up} {Level Up} {Level Up}

in doing this, she figured out that the requirement for leveling up doubled every time. now that she was in her new form. she had used up 1270 crystals to get to level 13, and the requirement to get to just level 14 was 1280 more.

'I hope I evolve at level 15, or else by the time I get to level 20, ill have mined every crystal within 100 miles.'

Ellie looked at the 40 stat points she had earned from leveling up and had to decide what category to put them in.

'if I put them all into agility as I have been, I'll be fast but I won't have any health in case something like earlier happens again.'

She placed 22 points into agility, raising it to 50, and then raised intelligence to 15, and strength up to 10.

{Agility Milestone Reached: Talent Awarded}

{Accurate Perception Talent Gained}

{Accurate Perception: Your perception will always keep up with your speed}

'I guess that solves the issue of being too fast, it's like the heavens themselves are listening to me.' Ellie chuckled to herself and then put away the hundred leftover crystals sitting on the floor.

she made her way all the way back to Garren and tossed her leftover crystals into a big crate next to the cages.

"well done Ellie, that's way more crystals than I thought you'd be able to get," Garren said while inspecting the pile. "you do this every day, and my bats will be out of a job!"

the bat sitting in the corner looked over at Ellie and gave her a frown, or at least the closest thing to a frown that a bat can do, as bats do not have eyebrows.

Ellie fell into a routine, every day, she would go over to the blue crystal area, pick up as many crystals as she could, get attacked by the ground, and then eat all but 100 crystals so that she could bring them back to Garren at the end of the day.
