"What is this!?"
As The Light's energy rose to its peak, he waved his hand and caught up the Divine Ones.
They merged with his hand, and a barrier formed before him at the same time as the arc of light reached him.
It slammed into the barrier, and instantly cracked it.
"!" The Light raised both hands as his energy surged, and streams of light energy flowed to his body from his surroundings.
His eyes looked to the breach and saw Gilgamesh with a little girl clutched to his chest.
'Master, that is him!'
'It's Gilgamesh!'
The Light's true energy natures instantly recognized Gilgamesh.
'What is this power!? It feels like our own!'
The Light snarled and roared, summoning all of the light energy he possibly could.
"Divine Ones of Light, be released!"
With both palms facing outward, aimed directly at Gilgamesh, two spiritual images came flying out of both, creating the images of the four Divine Ones.
"Seal his power," The Light commanded, and the Hand of the Old Power acted, attempting to grab hold of Gilgamesh.
"Drain him of his lifeforce!" The Obscure Spark blazed furiously, and prepared to latch onto Gilgamesh like a parasite.
"Seize his truth!" Truth's Mind glowed intensely, and immediately began to manipulate Truth on an immeasurable scale.
"Take his soul!" The Endless Cycle emerged in a spiral, and revolved around Gilgamesh as it tried to take hold of his soul.
Gilgamesh's eyes sparkled with ridicule, and Little Feather's eyes widened.
She was witnessing a battle of truly powerful experts. The scale of power here was practically infinite, and impossible for the current her to wrap her head around.
The Light released his true energy natures, and they immediately seized control of the basest concepts that constructed reality within his Domain.
These were absolute powers that no one in all the dimension could ever hope to stand against.
Little Feather could feel just how terrifying that power was.
Regardless, she was nestled in Gilgamesh's chest, and felt all the pressure fade away.
When she looked up and saw his smirk, all she felt was an unshakeable sense of safety.
Nothing could possibly harm her as long as her Big Brother held her close like this.
Off to the side, when Wyg and Law saw The Light release his true energy natures, they sneered and shook their heads.
"I'd actually never seen them before," Law laughed.
"So those are the basic true energy natures? I guess in terms of manipulating this Page's reality, they are adequate, but they aren't enough." Wyg remarked with a confident expression.
"Indeed. Gilgamesh possesses their power, and his inherent nature has pushed them far past their limits. If he can continue to push them further, he may be able to acquire those higher forms of manipulation."
Wyg shook his head.
"There is no doubt. If Gilgamesh continues to progress up through the Book, he will have to force them to evolve. If not, even with his inherent nature pushing them further, they will not be able to manipulate the reality of the Middle Pages."
They looked on, finding themselves incessantly pondering the future.
Gilgamesh saw the attacks of the Divine Ones of Light, and he laughed.
"Is this all you're capable of? You're this weak?"
Gilgamesh gathered his energies and performed a simple slash. As he did so, he made it his mission to address each of the Divine Ones.
"You want to take my soul? Even if you could, you aren't worthy enough to gaze upon it!"
His sword struck the spiral, and it immediately started to swirl in the opposite direction, releasing a torrent of souls and deathly power as it lost control.
"Seize my truth? If I say something is not true, then it cannot ever be true!"
Truth's Mind was struck and split in half. The truth it had been trying to command was wrested from it, falling into Gilgamesh's hands.
"Trying to drain my lifeforce? What a joke! I'll drain yours instead!"
His sword passed through the Obscure Spark, and it instantly lost all of its sparkly livliness. It was reverted to an extinguished mass of energy, teetering on the edge of its life.
"You can never seal my power. My power is Absolute!"
The Old Power had each of its fingers severed in quick succession, and it's ability to take command of energies and powers was stripped.
With a single strike, Gilgamesh had seized control of the Divine Ones' abilities by sheer domination.
His version of their power was superior to them, therefore they could no longer remain the same in his presence.
Now...
They had become inferior versions of Gilgamesh's power! Naturally, he could do with them as he wished!
Defeated and powerless in Gilgamesh's presence, the Divine Ones of Light retreated to their Master's sea of energy.
'Master, it's impossible!'
'How can this be!? This is the Domain of Light, not the Domain of Gilgamesh!'
'He took Truth from me! How could he have taken Truth itself out from under me!? How!?'
'We must flee, Master! Gilgamesh is a monster that we cannot defeat! We must run and hide, or else we will eternally perish!'
The Light was bombarded by the words of his true energy natures, and he was immediately rendered helpless to calm them.
They feared for their very existences.
And all it took was one sword strike from a Condensation stage cultivator...
The Light was infuriated, but not by Gilgamesh.
He was mad at himself- at his own weakness.
"The Book of Existence entails the stories of an infinite infinity! As you now stand against me, others shall stand against you!"
"Your power, to them, will be nothing!"
The Light tried to assuage his own frustrations by doing this, but in the end all he could do was talk.
His actions could not speak for him in this moment.
Wyg and Law both seemed disappointed, and they shook their heads.
"What weakness of character..." Wyg shut his eyes as though it pained him to even see The Light behave this way.
"I feel like tearing him to pieces just listening to it. Imagine how Gilgamesh feels." Law frowned.
Gilgamesh moved over to The Light and saw the panic in his eyes.
"Are you going to try to fight back before you die?"
Hearing this, The Light grit his teeth and immediately performed what would be his final spell technique.
Utilizing his inherent nature, he said, "Let There Be Light!"
This spell technique caused all of the light energy of his Domain to be pulled in, and it slowly became a twilight world, filled with the dying light of similarly dying stars.
They were no longer filled with that infinite light energy, and were slowly becoming empty floating spheres.
The Light gathered all of it, and his body slowly began to light up.
Gilgamesh looked around as the Domain of Light lost its signature feature, and a thought came to him before he chuckled.
Little Feather heard him and turned to him with a, "Hm? What are you laughing at?"
Gilgamesh disregarded The Light's preparations, and looked down at Little Feather with a doting smile.
"I just thought of something funny we could do together before I destroy this little candle. Wanna try it with me?"
Little Feather nodded adorkably, and Gilgamesh explained his idea to her.
The Light brought all of his gathered energy and condensed it into a greatbow.
When he pulled the string, a singular arrow composed of infinite light energy solidified, aimed at Gilgamesh.
When that arrow was loosed, it carried all of The Light's hopes and dreams, as well as his and his true energy natures' wills to live.
It was the last shred of evidence that they ever existed.
Their final retaliation.
The spell technique ended once the arrow was fired.
This one attack could destroy each and every universe under the Domain of Light, and its speed was far beyond the speed of light.
Gilgamesh was not impressed, though.
"You say 'Let there be light,' even though you're about to die?"
He chuckled, and he looked to Little Feather.
With a thought, the inherent nature of Infinite Brilliance that fueled the arrow vanished, and the arrow lost almost all of its power before being swatted away by Gilgamesh's sword.
"There is no more Light, so instead, I say this."
He raised Samael above his head, and a single type of energy completely covered blade.
This energh materialized as a misty, red aura, and when it appeared, Gilgamesh's eyes started glowing brightly.
"Let There Be..."
Little Feather perked up, and with a bright smile she finished it, "...Gilgamesh!"
As his sword fell, it left a trail of red in the air that formed a thin red line.
That line encompassed all of reality within the Domain, and severed everything. Space, Life, Death, Existence, Non-Existence and even Truth were severed.
The only power than remained untouched... was Gilgamesh's power.
This was the first time he had performed such a true energy attack with just his inherent nature.
And he had named it right away!
This was, 'Let There Be... Gilgamesh!'
The Light, and all of his true energy natures as well as his soul, were erased from the Book.
They were gone, never to exist again.
