Kagura soon walked back inside and woke her son up.
"Leo, it's time for food."
Leo slowly opened his eyes and looked at his mom with a side eye. He got up from the couch and did some stretches.
"Good evening, mom."
"Well good evening to you too."
Leo went towards the table and sat down but didn't take any food yet waiting for his mom. Kagura soon too came to sit down and they started eating. Neither talked to each other, they both ate in peace.
Leo was ready first and got up.
"I'm going to my room."
"Sure, tell me if you need anything."
Leo nodded and thanked for the food before walking to his room. Kagura still sitting down was starting at his son's back. Even if he had been normal again for just two days, it felt like he had matured so much.
Kagura thought about what to do, she didn't have any books at home, because she didn't have any time to read them, but now the house was clean so she didn't have anything to do. She didn't even have many hobbies so she really had run out of things to do.
Except, that there was one thin... magic. Kagura had read the book about water magic but never actually tried it, should she do it? Kagura wondered about it.
If it's just one time then what's the harm? That was the thought that went through her mind, at the end she decided to try it. For the risks, she went to test her magic outside.
Water, the chemical compound of oxygen and hydrogen. It's odorless, colorless, and transparent.
Kagura now had the clear image of water in her head, she started to also think the scientific reason of water, what is water? And where do we need water?
Answers to those questions helped her and soon a ball of water appeared on her hand. It increased drop by drop till it was as big as her head, then she stopped. Kagura threw the ball from one hand to other.
She even used mana to keep it levitating in the air before she threw it towards the target blocks that she had not used in a long time. She created even more balls but this time she watered the plants, why would she waste good water?
She made about five water balls and was totally okay after that.
Well it's not so hard, is what she thought. She didn't feel tired at all, her past really helped her, and because she didn't have any bad habits, she wasn't in bad shape.
Kagura walked inside and thought about renting more books in the future, it seemed interesting, before she had only used wind magic so water was a good change and not bad at all. However, weapon training was something, that she did not want to try.
She was afraid of losing herself again and right now her son needed her, so she had to do what she could, work, and take care of Leo. She was luckily happy that way.
It was already late when Kagura came back inside, but still not the time that she usually goes to sleep. She just went to bed and slept for almost an hour longer than usually. This was something that she almost never did.
Inn was open every day of the week and she didn't need any holidays because she didn't feel tired and Leo didn't want to go anywhere so she only worked.
Should she and Leo go on a holiday together? That is a great idea, they could visit a beach, maybe go drinking together and go on a hike. It would be a fun thing to do now, some family time.
While Kagura was thinking about these ideas, Leo was thinking about something completely different, work. Only think going on Leo's mind was, faster, faster and faster.
He had to become stronger faster, he had to start making money faster, he had to make his mom's life better faster. Everything had to happen faster. Even if it had only been two days and made progress that no one else with a sane mind would do, it wasn't enough for him.
He felt like he should already be as strong as before regressing. So he started training, he made fire balls, spears, swords and shaped the fire like he wanted.
After his mana was drained he started training with the sword. His old skills where still there because his body only wasn't has strong as before nor had so much stamina so his training wasn't that different.
He however did not train for the skill, but for the muscles. He did kicks, slashed, evades and every possible attack that he could do in his room. He targeted almost every muscle that his body had and continued, till he almost collapsed on the ground.
He thought about it, he didn't need to go to the bathroom. So he of course did what every normal person would and went to slee train...
He continued to train. Again the same, he did shadow fighting against his past enemies and fought against them, dodging and killing. Soon after he passed out from exhaustion and slept on the middle of the floor.
He didn't see any dreams, neither did Kagura but during their sleep someone else was not.
This was the Baron's son. He was scheming something that would backfire him horribly. This mistake was posted on the mercenary billboard, it was a request. A request to kidnap Leo, Baron's son had a plan, where Leo would get kidnapped and he would get him back, then Kagura would be so thankful to marry him.
It seemed like a flawless plan, so he didn't think even twice before he posted it. Last time, when Leo was still depressed in his room, no one answered this request, it didn't pay well enough and seemed like a pain in the ass. This time however things would be different, because Kagura's answer was different because Leo had woken up.
This time Kagura's name was included in the poster, it mentioned the name of a beautiful woman named Kagura, and even if Kagura were a rare name, you would think that it didn't catch anyone's attention? No, no no no no, the opposite of that. Kagura the name of the famous mercenary caught attention of many people.
In the morning, Kagura woke up and did like she always did. Washed her face, changed clothes, brushed teeth, grabbed her lunch, and left. Today like for the past three days Leo wished her good day. This put a smile on her face and she would never grow tired of it.
After Leo wished his mom goodbye, he like normal people his age.... No, he did nothing like the people of his age and started training again. Even if his body was hurting because he didn't stretch or did no warm up, he continued. He had to become stronger, faster.
