"What?" Damian's eyes squinted.
Susan knew it was too much to ask but she wanted to try it out.
"I want to leave and go back to my world." She said but he frowned.
"I can't let you leave." He said. "I've tried everything to make you feel comfortable, why do you still think of leaving?"
"No matter how comfortable you make the environment around me to be, I can never be comfortable." She stared and took another step towards him. "The only way I can feel comfortable is if I am with my loved ones and that is impossible here in the underworld." She stared clearly. Davon gritted his teeth and turned away.
"You can't leave. There's no way."
Susan watched him leave and gave out a weary sigh. She turned the opposite way ans walked away. It seemed he wouldn't let her leave so the only way was to beat him, afterall.
A year rolled by like it was nothing. Susan didn't bring up the issue of leaving the underworld after that conversation.
