What happened to lead to the previous scene was due to Damian's constant advancement to Oscar, who held a particular feeling for the king her was serving.
Damian knew that he held some feelings so he decided to catch some fun with him, starting a few years back and Oscar had always tried his best to avoid it.
He, however, eventually fell for Damian's lure a while back but told himself not to indulge. He didn't want that same incident to repeat itself so he abstained from staying alone with him.
This made things more fun for Damian and he constantly made advancements, tempting him by all ways possible.
But he never got to catch Oscar alone because he always ran off at the slightest chance he got.
It was a little bit annoying but he held on to his patience. After all, he knew his weakness more than anyone else.
