"I'll be taking you back for a few days." Damian said and Susan froze.
"What?"
"Why that expression? Do you like it here so much that you do not want to come back with me?" He asked, feigning hurt.
"I don't but I don't want to go either." She said and stabbed her meat.
She took her glass of wine and gulped it down slowly
"What to do? He already gave me permission to take you with me." He said, cheerfully and her eyes widened.
Susan looked at Davon in surprise. He looked so spiteful and upset. Was it because Damian was taking her away? Was that why he was so upset? He really was childish!
But if he didn't want to let her go then why agree. Maybe he had no choice like he had no choice to go with Damian and have that discussion.
"Can I refuse?" She asked.
"I'm afraid not! And we'll be leaving after the meal so, eat up real quick!" He winked and she blinked, displeased.
"Whatever!"
