Dante arrived at Derek's study with Molly in tow.
"You wanted to see me?"
"Yes, you will not go with us to fight the beast." Derek said and he titled his head.
"May I know the reason?" He asked.
"You have to stay back and protect Kathrina." Hearing this, Dante had no reason to refuse. "And that wasn't an order." Derek rephrased.
"I understand." He said and excused himself. "I'll go now!"
After Dante left, Molly sat on the chair in front of Derek and seeing his expression, she asked,
"Are you worried?"
Derek remained silent.
"You look worried. Is it because you don't know what state my sister's in or...?"
"I received a tip." He said and brought out a piece of paper from his drawer. "I find the contents unbelievable but yet again, I have reason to believe, seeing as how the beast appeared out of nowhere."
Molly took the paper from him and scanned it thoroughly with wide eyes.
