"The human emotion is like a labyrinth." Mr Bruce began. "There are many paths you assume to be the right road and you confidently follow that path only to end up at a dead end. A lot of humans never get out of that labyrinth and end up hurting not only themselves but the people in question." He took off his glasses. "Getting out of that labyrinth isn't easy but once you do get out, you're filled with overwhelming joy and gladness and so does your heart!" He pointed at Derek's chest.
"Does that mean it will be difficult to know what my real feelings towards her are?" Derek asked and he shook his head.
"It's not entirely impossible but the answer lies mainly in you. How would you like to treat her for the rest of her life? Would you rather have her and her alone in your mind all day long or push her out of your mind?" He asked.
Derek looked at the psychologist curiously and for some reason, he felt he was right on point on everything he's said so far.
