Susan and Derek seemed to talk about a lot of things and he ended up telling her his regrets. She felt for him and told him to let bygones be bygones.
"What do you plan to do now?" Derek asked. "Not that I'm willing to send you out but I can't tie you to the mansion. So, is there anything in particular you want to do?" Susan thought of this and sighed.
"Thanks. I am indeed interested in a certain career but ..." She twiddled her fingers "...I don't think it'll be possible thanks to my current 'popularity'." She said with a sad smile. This caused Derek to feel another set of guilt.
"Did I perhaps ruin your life?" He asked. She looked up and saw the guilt in his expression but shook her head.
"It's not your fault." She said and relaxed on the sofa. "But I really wished I could change my appearance, even of it's just a little." She touched her hair. "Dying this isn't going to change my appearance much."
