Kathrina felt concerned. She scanned the room she was in. It was dark, both furniture and paintings. This was surely one of the rooms in the Esclairs' mansion.
Were they the ones feeding her with all those lies? How could her sister believe them so timidly? She could blame them but what if they weren't the cause? What if...?
"Kathy!" Susan called and placed her hands on hers. "I know it's hard to believe but everything I told you is true." Kathrina suddenly flung her hands from Susan's grasp and took off the sheets.
"I can't believe you, sister. Of all the things in the world?" She got down from her bed and rushed towards the door.
"Kathy?" Susan called but she ignored her.
"You seem to have been deluded and I want to know the cause. There's no way I'd believe such a tale. Really? Vampires and werewolves? You've got to be kidding me!"
She opened the door only to find Derek standing right in front of her. She frowned.
