Susan attempted to commit suicide. She almost succeded but luckily, vampires were faster.
Her attempts continued by jumping from the balcony or slitting her wrist with a shard of a broken plate but each time, they'd save her and heal her injuries. But it was becoming very alarming!
She was so young yet she was already tired of living. Yes, she was so young and that was why the trauma was too deep, too hard and too agonizing.
Derek finally decided to talk to her so he sat by her bedside yet, all she did was stare at her birthmark.
"Do you really like to keep reminding yourself of their deaths?" He asked but she did not respond.
She lifted her head and her sharp brown eyes which seemed ever bright looked void and lost of it's essense as she stared into his. She lowered her head and said,
"It's because of me."
"Is it because of you that those people killed your friends?" Derek asked and she nodded. "How?"
