After some time passes by, Ellyn finally breaks the silence. "Can I eat next to you?" Ellyn said.
I wonder what she thinks about all of this. But I didn't want to let this situation be even more awkward. Thus I just give her the nod of approval.
She then starts eating her meal as she turns around and sits beside me, making me sit closer to her.
When we finished our meals and drank half of the ale, Sigrid came over once again to refill our drinks. After she refills my cup, she looks at Ellyn and tells her, "Now that you've got a lover, would you resign early then?" She teases Ellyn as she grins.
Ellyn quickly snatches the ale from Sigrid's hand. "Don't you dare say anything stupid like that!" She shouts out loud enough to make everyone in the room stop their conversations.
Everyone turned toward us as they stared at us. All stared at us as they kinda waited for an explanation from either of us.
